They taped the explosion the night before, but I'm pretty sure Vince's walk of doom was done live.

Exactly. Besides, assembling the entire wrestling crew ahead of time would've been an even greater logistical problem.

I recall him saying on the F4D appearance that they did shoot that like 4 times and Vince looked at him every time. He had some elaborate explanation of him acting that way by imitating a TV show or movie where someone was reacting to a crazy guy by doing that. So it does sound like they could have re-shot it and told him to move or stop grinning or whatever he was doing.

Dave Meltzer reported in today's WO.com update that Paul London no-showed a scheduled debut at the TNA Impact tapings in a tag team with Amazing Red.

 

No idea if this means TNA will considered the bridge burned or give him another shot.. given TNA's checkered history, I wouldn't be surprised if they schedule him again, but on the other hand, they may decide not to bother with him.

Contradicting sources are saying that TNA fucked up some travel information, as Lance Cade and Amazing Red were supposed to be there too and were not.

At the convention in Newark, CA today, Paul London sent a text message to the promoter at 4 p.m. yesterday that read, "Would it mess up your convention if I no-show this weekend?"
