Boondocks Kernoodle Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 http://www.f4wonline.com/content/view/8643/ Not exactly a shock. I hate to speculate on cause of death, but keep in mind that this is the guy so who was juiced up even TNA had to get rid of him because it made them look bad.
rovert Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 Im already getting annoyed the "he was never a good worker but still sad though" type comments on the internet. As I said on F4W imagine the media jumping on this if Mickey Rourke was going to wrestle at Wrestlemania.
kjh Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 Nah, the media wouldn't care even if Rourke was wrestling at Mania, as he wasn't employed by WWE at the time of his death and wasn't a major star for them in the past. Perhaps the saddest aspect of this death is that Test was one of the few people to have the guts to speak out against WWE after Eddie Guerrero's death, but then proceeded to ignore all the lessons of his death and ended up with a similar fate.

What about the deaths of Sherri Martel and John Kronus etc? Benoit was big news, so it fits into the news narrative. You see this kind of thing in the news cycle with other stories. Kidnappings become more reported when there's a big one featured. The news reports every school shooting when there's been a big one recently. Otherwise, it often goes un or underreported.

smkelly Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 I always liked Test. He was no Bryan Danielson, but he definitely surpassd Kevin Nash. RIP big guy.
