Also, I just watched a match with one of the few remaining Samoans on the board against Grenade Boyer from a random Southwest episode. Boyer was perhaps the most awkward moving wrestler I have ever seen.

Samu is an incredible steal in the 14th round. You just have to find him a tag partner or figure out how to use him as a singles.

If anyone needs a proxy tonight I will be around another 6 hours or so. One of the most interesting things about this is looking to see how the "tiers" of wrestling promotions and talents worked. Like a guy who left Florida was likely to go from there to Georgia or JCP maybe but a guy leaving Southwest was likely to go to say Memphis or Portland or Vancouver. Guys who worked the smaller promotions tended to stay on a loop of smaller promotions.

I just watched a piece of a Southwest episode from I guess sometime in 1982 that has a non bleached blonde Buddy Landell, looking as jacked as I have ever seen him, as a babyface doing a squash match and then cutting a bland promo about Jack Brisco teaching him the figure four and all the great wrestlers who he is traveling around with and learning from. I can't make Southwest any weirder than that.

OK this Maoris match is ass backwards. They have wrestling boots on and their white meat babyface jobber opponent is wrestling barefoot. All 4 of these men are eligible and undrafted. Not on my list though.

These 84 Southwest episodes are rough. But Arandu is on one of them, can I draft Mexican wrestlers who had like 1 match in Southwest?

Dang I kinda would have liked to get ol' Tiger Conway Jr. But he is one of those guys that I am talking about when I say that I couldn't see myself have fun with a "true" Southwest roster. I'd have had to taken him about 2-3 rounds ago relative to his Southwest value.

Andersons probably gonna make an example out of that chump. Seems like a good angle to get Bruno out of retirement. For ICW though.

I wish you had sent all my Sunshine ideas to Parv and tried to convince him to steal them verbatim and trade up to pick ahead of me. I don't know who he has to be Tully but Steamboat could maybe fit the other side.

You know my draft has been meticulously planned by falling in love with an idea too hard and getting more and more paranoid as my pick comes up that I'm going to lose my guy (or gal as the case may be) I would have never come off plan to mess up the Andersons thing. Especially when that's something I actually am interested in seeing how both he and Flyin Brian execute. Also: the best part of this experience is all the Tully promos I watched and will continue to be watching.

Actually I do think that's a match Parv would really like if just for that reason alone.
