But you couldn't tell who won and they had that music playing in half a second. They had it queued up ready to go. I think they changed the finish that day and they screwed up how they shot it and they screwed up the actual finish but Owens was meant to win.

There are only so many guys on the roster. Surely they must have a playlist with all music available at their fingertips the way we do on a computer or phone. Yeah but I'm sure it's all queued up because they know who's supposed to win. The ending was fucked up in a lot of ways but I don't think Styles was supposed to win. Really, I think the biggest fuck up on that ending was how they shot it. They picked the absolute worst angle to show.

How could Battleground be a fuck up when they played Owens music like the second the referee made the count?

He had said he had heard Reigns/Lesnar several weeks ago after that PPV. I think it's just as likely they changed their mind because Joe/Lesnar got hot.

Also, the KO music playing the second the ref counted was super dumb. Had they hesitated a few moments I might have hated it slightly less.

The Styles/Owens match really pissed me off. How the fuck can you not get me a replay of the ref actually getting kicked in the head? Secondly, it was clear the ref couldn't see 3 of the 4 shoulders involved in the pin fall. I'm sure they were going for that but even my wife was like WTF was that and she never says a lot about endings.

I knew this show was going to be bad but I thought at least there would be some good wrestling. I was really wrong.

I want a Spin the Wheel gimmick for Orton/Mahal at Summerslam or Bollywood Boys on a pole match.

It always has to bridge this weird gap to Summerslam which seems to mean they just phone in a show every year.

I've seen far worse. This isn't good but something like Starcade 99 was worse by a mile. Okay how about WWE PPVs? That one with the awful 45 minute Hell In A Cell with HBK/HHH. They didn't do a PPV in Columbus for like 11 years after that because it was so bad.
