  1. Isn't that what he uses the more gullible Wade Keller for? I thought that was what he uses Mike Johnson for.
  2. I saw his entrance into the ballroom at a John Arezzi convention about 6 months before he died. Saying he "stumbled" in would be kind.
  3. From WC (spyware alert)... No full ballot yet, but Rey Mysterio & The Rock are eligible this year. Hans Schmidt & Enrique Torres have been added to the ballot. Rey & Rock both seem like gimmes, though I'm curious if Rey is going to be considered an "American" or "Mexican" candidate (he should be the former for a number of reasons, IMO).

  5. Well, there's an opening, so I might as well ask: Seriously: Did Doris drink while she was pregnant?
  6. Those drugs were really good.
  7. The Finlay match on Smackdown a month or so back was very good.
  8. Russo's mind was probably further warped by his contract with WCW specifying that he'd get bonuses based off ratings increases. Not increases in buyrates or overall revenue, just ratings.
  9. He interferes at the end of Bruiser Brody vs. Mexican Twin Devil #1 on the USA All-Star Wrestling Vol. 3 comm. tape of Houston footage. I believe there's a Georgia house show match of his on an AJ Classics.
  10. Wait wait wait, and this is a serious question: You do realize he's not black, right?
  11. Yes, they said "in attendance."
  12. Too many skeletons in his closet. This should lead to some sort of "what's worse than being alleged to have sodomized preteens" joke but I'm not sure exactly what it should be.
  13. http://ir.shareholder.com/wwe/EdgarDetail....5&SID=07-00 http://prowrestlinghistory.com/supercards/...f/mania.html#23 (Numbers via the WON) Has WWE misstepped by lying in the report? Or does it not really matter since the dollar amount is correct?
  14. Not the Pena Kahoz. Still, everyone needs this book.
  15. Vince is Vince, and I love him for the fact that his Vinceness never wavers.
  16. http://www.loserleavestown.net/?p=21 Northwestern wrestling legend Dutch Savage joins me to discuss his career, with topics including how he broke in, bad payoffs from Nick Gulas and others, the creation of his specialty: the Coal Miner’s Glove Match, working with NWA World Champions, why he left the business, and more. A fun-filled and informative 36 minute interview.
  17. I just happened to get the Beauregarde CD in the mail today, so I will definitely ask about him.
  18. It might be worth asking Dave or Bryan about, as they both required he stopped taking a salary for any of his roles in the company. While they technically had a drug policy (hence the discipline/firing of those in no condition to perform and Jamie Noble), they weren't testing.
  19. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/conten...32a93f3ac8898f3 Did any cable systems suddenly move USA around?
  20. I believe the commission became an issue several years after he left the business.
  21. This is what I meant. He was no longer paid as talent. The Wellness Policy is for contracted talent.
  22. http://www.loserleavestown.net/ Discussing his legendary career mainly in the Northwest, owning the Portland promotion, etc. Please reply with any questions you may have.
  23. Good stuff, John. For what it's worth, there was a period in the last 18 months where Vince took himself off contract that happened to coincide with the beginnings of the drug tresting. He went back under contract a few months back, I believe.
  24. Do I want to try?
