  1. Eh, WCCW, NWA, CWF, TNT, PTW, and all of the other stuff are plenty for TV, plus all of the other stuff. With the proper amount of lead time to cut stuff now I could see them airing the shows w/o the Benoits, as they have cut segments from shows before.
  2. Motivated Jeff is really underrated, the problem is he wasn't motivated for a long time.
  3. Yes, calling dudes "Spunk" and "Ess El El" would be awkward.

  5. I'm GUESSING "a ten month supply of steroids" means it would be a 10 month supply if he was actually using it to treat his low levels of natural testosterone.
  6. They can also switch MNW to just being Raw and not have to worry about Benoit for 6 years. They HAVE edited segments from Nitro before, though.
  7. Fox News says the records mention "O.G." (presumably Óscar Gutiérrez) and "M.J." (presumably Mickie James?).

  11. http://www.davidbix.com/ I’m joined by Dave Walsh, Steven Louis Lerner, and Andrew J. Wallace as we discuss the wrestling business driving people insane/insane people going into the wrestling business, why you should all watch AAA, Marvin the Baby, Japanese wrestling in 2007 and its western fans, the how the WON awards are shaping up, Edge being awesome, Batista’s turtleneck, and more. An hour and forty-four minutes(!) of exciting wrestling chat. Much better than last time as there’s a format and good discussion and everything.
  12. Jake's DDTs were pretty nasty at points, though, like the Steamboat one on the floor.
  13. Hogan has his sanity, though.
  14. Also, Mero reminded me of his comment on MSNBC about beating drug tests in WCW, which in turn reminded me of this passage in Bill Watts' book about his stint running WCW.
  15. After reading Kevin's (awesome) post, I'm reminded of a story from the Marc Mero Torch Talk from right after he quit WCW. Mero was taping his ankles in the lockerroom. Hogan walks up to him and says "You know, you wouldn't have to do that if you knew how to work." Mero's indignant response when telling Keller the story was basically "I don't know how to work??!?! Compare my legdrop to his, he barely gets off the ground!" 11 years, several surgeries, and a divorce later, I suspect he gets the point of what Hogan said much better.
  16. Ken Wayne handled himself really well.
  17. DeMott was Superstar Graham-level awful. His reply to Debra at the end was probably the dumbest thing anyone from the wrestling business has said on the news shows so far. It's too bad that in lieu of pointing out the flaws of the WWE Wellness Program, you have a lot of wrestlers who know that it's BS but hold back because they want jobs with WWE, people like Debra who want to go on the offensive against steroids/WWE as much as possible but don't know about the flaws of the current policy, and the reporters who would explain the negatives in a relatively evenhanded manner aren't given enough time to talk about it (Meltzer seemed to be trying to interject about it at one point Thursday on MSNBC but Abrams ignored him).
  18. It's already been said elsewhere that Daniel was Nancy's only child.
  19. Electrolyte imbalance and an enlarged kidney = anorexia.
  20. Those "Michelle McCool is a healthy, athletic woman" vignettes that started on Smackdown last week are really bizarre and hilarious for all of the wrong reasons, like someone finally found out that months ago, Meltzer & Alvarez explained what causes an enlarged kidney, so they had to run these videos to prove it wrong.
  21. "He also indicated that he had prescribed low levels of testosterone to him due to steroid use in the past." This needs a rewrite. Astin said he prescribed testosterone for Benoit because Benoit had low levels of the hormone from his past steroid use.
