  1. 100% correct observations from Loss snipped... Ahem. The big hurdle is cultivating sources. My buddy in WWE doesn't want to be "rat." Alvarez claims that sources came to him just through having a semi-known newsletter, so it's theoretically doable, but his newsletter seems to be stuff he lifted from his early WON, so who knows? The horrible decline of Torch & F4W (including Alvarez either eschewing his "funny" niche or just losing his touch) along with Meltzer starting to lose his brink on reality more and more (this week's WOL was bizarre) is really creating a huge void.
  2. I believe they timed out the commercial breaks to keep much of the match intact, so it was closer to 35-40.
  3. I think it was this:
  4. Really...what!?!?

  7. Everyone, I guess? Well, I veered into that more with Noah, but Wrestlemania is Wrestlemania, y'know? Work in progress anyway I get what you're saying, but I'm trying to keep a proper balance while letting a little bit of personality shine through. Think of it as a more casual WON as opposed to a more serious F4W. Gotcha. This is basically a placeholder until Murray does a layout for next week though, so it won't really matter. It did! You did good.
  8. Sort of but not exactly. Case by case. Maybe.
  9. Use Foxit, it's lightweight and really good.
  10. http://www.loserleavestown.net/ I know Loss likes it, at least...
  11. Random comments/additions/whatever: I'd add the taped fist match w/ Sweetan for sure. Jackie Fargo, too. Plus the Robert Fuller match were Lawler takes his bump down the steps. OH! And the Loser Leaves Town w/ Savage. And TX death w/ Bigelow. And the cage match w/ Rude... Add Lawler, Dundee, & Cactus. Bobby Fulton was pretty replaceable, though... Aww thanks I think there's no reason to keep out Jonathan Boyd making it 3. I could see an argument for Rip Morgan as #4, though probably not for Bigfoot as #5. I'd add the Patterson, McGraw, and Hogan matches. I wouldn't call the Steamboat matches brawls, but yeah. Maybe sub in the first Hogan program. vs Dynamite is fun, too, though annoyingly JIP. Santo bloodbaths, too. There's a little bit out there w/ Johnny Valentine, too. I didn't make it yet, but yeah. I think you could make an argument for at least 4 Moondogs. Rex & Spot, plus at least 2 of Spot's USWA partners, Spike & Splat. Stan Hansen, too. There's also the cage match w/ Rick Rude. Whoa whoa which Studd match? I'd also go w/ one of the earlier Hogan matches. Doc & DiBiase, too. Please do, it'll be fun. I'll add: El Satanico (Dandy a bunch of times, GDI feud) Masashi Aoyagi (Onita, Koshinaka) The Undertaker (Foley, Michaels, Batista, Finlay, Diesel) Jackie Fargo (Lawler, Moondogs) El Hijo Del Santo (Parka, Panther, Dandy, Casas, Perro Jr) El Hijo del Perro Aguayo (Santo, Casas, Universo, Bucanero) Negro Casas (Santo, Perro Jr) Barry Windham (Murdoch, Pillman, Doom) Dustin Rhodes (Bunkhouse Buck, Wargames, Vader, Arn Anderson) Harley Race (Flair, Haku, LOD)
  12. Not in a thread w/ wildpegasus.
  13. Oh COME ON.
  14. Off the top of my head, from that era: Jerry Lawler Bill Dundee Jackie Fargo Stan Hansen Ted DiBiase The Sheepherders The Moondogs The Fabulous Ones
  15. Rosey was Mack Daddy Kane, apparently.
  16. I don't mind Brody all the time, but this sounds like a rehash of the time that Bryan had Mo Chatra on and they basically jerked each other off talking about how people that don't like Angle/Michaels are dumb.

  19. Yeah, Pearce is pretty much a very poor man's Todd Morton.
  20. My favorite part is that when Vince decided to make another grandstand move w/ the cable companies, they decided to go to WCW to stage a supercard opposite WM V. WCW booked the Superdome, but the WWF and the cable companies made up, so we got Clash 6, which drew the most hilariously depressing crowd ever.
  21. Samu & Rosey.
  22. I love Bruno's URL.
  23. http://www.wrestlingobserver.com/wo/news/h...t.asp?aID=19033 1,200 advance is pretty insane for a 2007 indy. Impressive.
  24. This got linked at KM and I thought it was interesting...
