  1. This is a classic rivalry. The feud that gave the Fantastics an edge of toughness to them. This is a week after the Crockett Cup that Dave Meltzer gave 5* to. We have a grUSA chant even before the bell rings. Sheepherders saluting the New Zeland flag gets big heat. To counter the Fans do the Pledge of Allegiance. Brawl to start with the Fantastics using double teams to their advantage. All 4 in the ring. It morphs into a straight tag. Fulton gets a knee in the back. They work over Fulton's back. Roger's has a chair on the floor. Fulton getting his ass handed to him. This is a fight. Fulton's heat was done very well. Fulton just can't make the tag. Finally he gets it, and Rogers is on fire. All 4 men in. What a great finish. Post match beat down . 3 on 2. Terry Taylor makes the save. This sets up the 6 man tags. 3 1/2*
  2. Lucas working the arm . This has a lot of chain wrestling. Some back and forth. Lucas is controlling with a head scissors. Not much of a story here. Just execution of moves. I liked Lucas machine gun punches. Lucas puts him away with a Sleeper. I found this pretty boring.
  3. Tiger vs Ivan A little back and forth early.Nice armdrags by Tiger.Ivan roughing up Tiger in the corner. Ivan's size is just too much for Tiger. Ivan goes with a nerve hold and transitions into an arm bar. This isn't a barn burner of a match, but they are telling a pretty basic story. I loved Tiger's hope spot of running the rope. More control by Ivan. Tiger gets the match vertical and uses his boxing for a bit only again to get cut off. Tiger gets one last run and climbs the top rope and hits a missile 2 12* This was a basic match, but I thought Tiger's selling was done real well. You got behind him on his hope spots. The match was worked in a way that the loser didn't get hurt.

  6. 2/5/17 REV Pro Zach Sabre Jr. vs Mike Bailey 4* A feeling out process to start. No one seems to gain an advantage. Barrage of kicks and chops from Bailey. Sabre strikes with a kick to the leg. He uses some leg lock.s. ZSJ even using leg locks in the crowd. Bailey is selling the leg, but is firing off kicks . ZSJ is just tearing up the leg. Bailey with a kick right at the ear. Bailey mounts a comeback. ZSJ catches him in a kneebar, ohhh rope break. The crowd has been pretty mediocre. Bailey with a standing shooting star. Enzurgi, followed by a moonsault block to the floor by Bailey. Shooting star by Bailey right into a lifter, followed by a brainbuster, and then the PK for a near fall. Palm strike from Bailey. ZSJ turns a kneebar into a stretchmuffler for the tap. 4* I've got to put over Bailey's selling.

  8. Tully vs Mike Graham These guys have a history, and it starts off with Mike throwing hands. Tully takes a powder to stall Mike's momentum. Tully grabs an arm and delivers a knee. Mike scapes and ups the tempo, and goes for the Figure 4. We get a quick rope break. Cheap shot by Tully and Tully using all his tricks. Tully already bleeding. Mike revereses only to get his hair pulled. Another hair pull when it looked like Mike might reverse the headlock. A 3rd hair pull and Mike is ready with a hammer lock into an arm drag only for Tully to pull the hair and get the advantage. This is amazing how much Tully is getting out of a hair pull. Tully with a dead leg, and then a knee to the neck. Of course followed up by a 5th hair pull. Mike with a back drop to spark his comeback. Tully suckers him into the corner to shut it down. Tully is the master of the cheapshot. Graham again starts a comeback. Graham works the leg. Graham is hamstringing the shit out of the thigh. Fig 4 is eyeraked away. Graham again working the leg. Tully kicks him in the back, and follows up with an elbow drop. Tully attempts a suplex, but his injured leg gives out. Both guys know the time limit is coming up. a great nearfall off a cross body by Mike gets 2. Both guys clunk their head and we see a small package. Graham gets the Figure 4 as time expires. Gino is out. I thought Tully's was a great heel performance and did a great job of giving Mike opportunities. Tully with 5 hair pulls was tremendous. Their is a lot to like about this match. Though the time limit draw was telegraphed. 3*

  10. Braun standing tall early. This has feel and aura of a UWF hoss fight. Strowman just tossing Roman around. Reigns has no answers for Braun. Strowman is putting pressure on the back of Reigns. Braun continues the heat, until he misses Reigns and hits the post shoulder 1st. Reigns on a comeback. Reigns almost steals the match with a Samoan drop. Braun cuts off the Superman Punch. All Braun again until he misses a big boot and does a turnbuckle bump to the floor. Roman tries to take the monster down only to take a power slam through a table. I thought Reigns recovered from that way too quickly. 2 Supermen punches, and Braun still stands, and cuts off Roman. Super splash from the top by Braun, but misses. Roman hits the spear and steals a victory. Loved the finish, and it protects Braun. 3 3/4*
  11. We get some back and forth early. A mexican stand off if you will. Dunne after the fingers. Loved the finger spot with the zero nero taunt from Pentagon. Dunne is great getting heat from the crowd. Actually both guys know how to work the crowd. Dunne here is total 80's style here. Dunne back to th fingrs, and a nasty forearm for good measure. Dunne biting on the hand. Big kick by Penta, and a slingblade. Penta attempts a tope' only to get cutt off by a Dunne forearm. Dunne working him over on the outside. Penta fights back with leg kicks. Big Lung blower by Penta for a near fall. Another good match 3 1/4*
  12. Kiniski vs Patton Kiniski showing a lot of energy at the start. He's taking it to Patton. I love this attempted hip toss by Patton, while Gene holds on to the ropes. The crowd is loving Kiniski. Kiniski's jump off the bottom rope into a double wristlock was tremendous. Patton is a great foil here. Patton capitalizes on a missed punch, and Patton throws knees at Gene. Patton using roughhouse tactics. Gene catches him with a big knee/into a press for the win. This was a real blast. 2 1/2*

  14. I like both guys a lot. Riddle this year seems to be becoming more formula or spotty at times. We get some fun mat work early. The mat work leads to submission attempts. Thatcher after the foot. Riddle gets out only to eat a big gut wrench. Thatcher moves to the arm. Big knee from Riddle sets up Riddle's offense. Thatcher back on the ankle. Riddle counters and in a great revenge spot gets the ankle. Riddle softening up the leg. Both men have leg locks apllied. Thatcher with a knee strike, and sells it a bit. Thatcher counter's a fisherman buster into a rear naked choke. That Riddle counters into the bromission for the win. 3 1/2*

    RIP Ron Bass

He had a really good match with Tito Santana from MSG.
  18. This is at Reunion Arena. Feeling out process. Ladd uses his size to keep KVE down. Big drop kick by Kerry starts a comeback. Kerry working Ladd over in the corner. Ladd stuns KVE with a foreign object. Kerry is hitting Ladd with his own taped fists. He goes for the claw, but gets a rope break. Some back and forth. KVE with a nasty knee drop. I really didn't feel this match. 2*
  19. Saddened to hear of his passing. I loved the Barry Windham feud. His angle with Beefcake was really hardcore for the time.

Wendy switches her focus on the leg. Wendy really working the leg. Wendy's work on the leg has been active. Kai escapes and starts choking Wendy. Wendy switches over to a front face lock to control. Kai with a bit of offense , only for Wendy to cut her off. Kai with a hair pull to set up her heat. Kai working over Wendy. Big miss by Kai. Wendy clamps om a body scissor. They blow this spot twice in a row. The finish was really clunky. They were pretty solid up until the last spot or 2. 1 3/4*
