  1. This was a great segment.
  2. Well I enjoyed the match. Misawa working over Hansen's lariat arm is great. Stan sold that great. The finish was awesome. Hansen goes for a lariat with his good arm, Misawa blocks it, Then Hansen goes fuck it and throws a lariat with his bad arm and gets the 3 count. He gambled everything on that last lariat and won.
  3. Bock looks no different from when he retired. This is neat.
  4. Albright's suplexes are great. Albright is really nimble on his feet. The finish is bullshit. Takada was pretty good here. The size dynamic made this interesting.
  5. Put me down as liking the match, but not getting the praise it gets as in after hearing about it you are expecting a 3 1/2* bout.
  6. Both guys are great here. I'm back interested in this feud. The Embry blinding really added some more juice to this feud.
  7. This is funny, I can see Shango scaring kids though.
  8. I thought this was really good. I thought it was really cookin when we went to the roll up that seemed anti climatic, but does need to be done so the finish is still believable when done on occasion, and that people will by as a false finish. I think Gordy might be getting a little short shafted by Loss. Gordy does a solid job getting the heat on Misawa earlier. Misawa does his flying elbow smash to the outside and takes control. Here I thought we were going to get Misawa in control for about 5-8 minutes. Instead we get him in control for two minutes or so. Gordy cuts him off with a nice looking clothesline and we see Gordy go to work on Misawa's neck. We eventually go into the finishing run, and instead of finishing Gordyoff with a big move, we get a simple crucifix pin.
  9. Stupid segment. Why even bring up the stupid family man gimmick of Steamboat's in 89 that didn't get over. He was hot as a face as Ricky Steamboat.
  10. Another good interview. SMW has some of the best talkers.
  11. I will say McAdam's ring looks real professional. Both guys work hard here. I thought Fulton has some tight looking work. I really thought he did a nice fist drop. That table spot killed me. They threw a bunch of shit out there. I was at an Indy in Austin this past week and a couple of the matches were better than this or in the same range again it was live verse tape. I too what ever happened to them.
  12. I really did enjoy this match. I'm a mark for working body parts. Was it a bit long, yeah it was but would people complain if it was Steamer and Arn going 35 minutes? Arn was awesome here, and Big Josh carried his end big time.
  13. This was an excellent match. I like when we combine Japan style with the psychology of a southern tag. So here I was in heaven. Hase was great here. Actually all 4 looked great, though Hase's FIP work was pretty awesome. I also dug how some of the hope spots were submissions. Hase using the Northern Lights on Vader was awe inducing.
  14. For an actor Hervey is so shitty, unless he's trying to become a manager.
  15. I'm liking the build here. Embry is great at getting sympathy.
  16. More crap.
  17. This was neat.
  18. It ;ooks like Todd Grisham has left WWE for ESPN.
  19. I believe Bix had a podcast last year talking about the Observer HOF with Cabana as a guest. Cabana showed a wealth of knowledge about the European canidates. In General I feel he is much more deserving than some of the people who write for the Observer. The comment about Gibson kinda stuck with me because I think the Rock N Roll should be in the HOF.
  20. This is a good segment. Awesome in the subtle burial of Luger. I too liked how he explained himself.
  21. I loved the hate here. The hate usually isn't evident in jr.s match. It was here. Samurai was great in his rudo role. The mask ripping was cool. Both guys worked hard. I have it as a MOTY condender in the 4 1/2* range.
  22. Horrible
  23. Awesome. Plus when you know the backstory they really hate Beckley.
  24. This is just a great segment.
  25. I think basing someone's candidacy against someone who is already in is an easy way to make an argument. I don't think the HOF should be judged on a Bell's Curve grading scale. It's kinda like when people complain about a match not making an 80's set, or a yearbook set etc. It's based on a team voting on these things. Their are differences like the 80's set teams and yearbooks teams ask for nominations. Though it still comes down to the team's votes. Are their flaws on who is voting. Yes their are. I remember Cabana saying he didn't vote for the Rock N Roll Express because when Gibson was working FCW he called a move wrong. Is that fair? Not to me.
