  1. I think the bigger point is of the house show stuff on video most of the WWF roster was at worst decent.
  2. I think I saw this match. Honestly it got on my nerves because Scorp was TV champ and could not lose, Sabu was not going to lose and ECW did not do double count outs. So they end up having to do time limit draws. One thing Sabu does not get credit for is building to the big spot in the end. He may do other big spots in the match but it always builds to something. I do appreciate them attempting to mix it up and not do the same match every night but this seemed like a mess. Unless this was not a fancam and I'm an idiot.
  3. I remember thinking this was a good match at the time and Bradshaw looked like a monster beating down Taker most of the match.
  4. I thought Vince hated Raven because of how he left the WWF in 95?
  5. I remember this match vividly. I hated Hulk Hogan so much then and was just waiting for Arn to lose. Then out of nowhere he pins Hogan. Watched it a few years ago and it is pretty obvious Hogan was losing since Arn gets no offense til the end. But still was so great to see Arn win here. That Nitro had a Devon Storm/Konann match I liked at the time.
  6. One thing I really liked about his time in WCW was how he was able to go from playing a bully type heel against Rey and Juvi to being a cowardly heel against bigger guys. Then over a year later in the WWF he was really good at playing an underdog face.
  7. Does Bischoff not get he did that guy a huge favor?
  8. Not to derail the Vince vs Everybody thread with Bossman discussion. Watch 98 WWF and he is great. He carries himself like he is the man and you buy him being able to fight guys like Austin and Undertaker. It is hard to believe it is the same guy who was floundering in WCW six months before. Also I think is just incredibly cool that at the 88 Survivor Series he beats the hell out of Hulk Hogan with a night stick then ten years late he does it to Hogan's successor Steve Austin. I love that whole angle where Bossman is suppose to injure Austin in the first round of the WWF title tourney only to have X-Pac and Regal fight to a draw giving Austin a bye.
  9. What the fuck is that idiot talking about?
  10. Watching Wrestlewar 90 and I have not seen one singles match yet. Not random tags either but legit teams you could see as champs. In 2010 that is pretty jarring to see. Only thing that bugged me was Mike Enos as the Masked Skyscraper in the Skyscrapers/Road Warriotrs match. I like Enos but WCW did not have access to one tallish lanky guy? At least taller than Hawk?
  11. I have heard the NWA pissed off Garvin. I think they shorted him on pay.
  12. A whaaaaaat?
  13. According to Road Dogg they left over money. Jarrett was mad that guys like Nash, Sid and Shawn were making a lot more money when him and Roadie were doing more work on a tougher schedule. Roadie quit out of loyalty to Jarrett but after a few months in the USWA he regretted quitting. Especially after Jarrett returned to the WWF.
  14. I wish it would happen. Only because I'll actually be there live.
  15. Would like to see Bruno/Sarge. Did the WWF tape the shows that did not air?
  16. The story goes Lawler pinned Hogan during his Sterling Golden days.
