    The crowd has no idea who Nash is supposed to be. At least they react that way. Some funny one liners but this was bad. Even the call out to the "boys in the north". Schivonie's fake laughter is worse than Cole's.

    This is probably the most in shape Sandman ever was in ECW. Loved this though. Crowd singing Enter Sandman almost sends chills down my spine. Dreamer cries, Rhino looks almost exactly the same now in 2015 like he did in 1999. He's like wrestling's Paul Rudd or something.

    Will sure lived up to his reputation during this show. I guess I would be angry too if I spent $30 on this show? Luckily, I only spent 19 and got the Spanish feed. Now I want to see Will review a Monterrey show where the refs are not only rudo, they do spots with the luchadors.

    The final Memphis USWA card was June 17th 1996. Fun piece of trivia is the Rock was on that card as Flex Kavana. If I remember right, once they moved to the Big one, they had shows on Thursday or Wednesday night instead of Monday's.

    Tajiri goes nuts going after Jerry's injured ribs and choking him. I liked Lynn blocking the mist with a steel chair. Jerry gets busted open This is a lot more hate filled than what was going on in ECW at the time. Kinda like how the Taz/Tajiri feud should have been. They try to get the crowd into it but all they do is yell at Corino.

    The start of the new Dangerous Alliance here. I'm guessing the crowd was chanting "shut the fuck up" but I'm not sure. Paul E's reaction to Lou E. was funny.

    Man Brian was so good at these with his one liners and accent. Even Dave Brown can't keep a straight face while Brian is talking about boner pills I can see why Doug went nuts during his shoot interview.

    Misawa takes so many bumps on his head from Vader's german suplexes. It almost gets uncomfortable watching.To his credit, Vader takes some bumps too. Good match

    Takayama is just so awkward in everything he does. Him being in All japan amuzes me to no end. This was good thanks to Kobashi. When he was sick of the shit, he just went off and got the job done.

    If Raven hates Dreamer so much, why is he teaming with him? Raven's initial return was good but this was just played out already. I remember hearing in Raven's shoot interview that he was drugged out of his mind during this time so it's quite surprising he can put two words together during his promo.

    H is wearing shorts that would make HBK blush. Not sure why Gannosuke was wearing the hayabusa outfit but whatever. This was one of those matches where you can say "only in Japan". Weird stuff.

    Big Show throws a dumpster on that car like it's nothing. This was silly but I didn't think it was bad. Well maybe the big giant net falling from the sky was. Why is Kane helping out Austin and the Rock?

    The legendary Minka on Nitro. I remember this vividly. Made no sense but at the time it was fun. Not sure who the other two were but I"m sure Krisz would know.

    So DDP the heel gets stretchered out by babyface David Flair which is a total heel move? Well at least Kimberly looks good in it all.

    Savage's outfit needs to be vidcaped for everyone to see. I'm guessing Russo brought him back to embarrass him one last time like they did Hogan and Flair. So Madusa goes from dumping colonge on Heenan to competing in the world title tournament? That makes sense.

    Nash looks more sauced than Hall. Powers to Be is a better name than Powers that be.

    Real Estate Steve minus the suit shows up. I didn't realize JJ Dillon was still around during this time? Sting is still a heel and attacks JJ. If this were 1997, he would be getting Austin type cheers for doing that.

    Another good tv match. Billy and Road Dogg were working more agressivley than usual. Also loved the signs like Austin fears Misawa and JR saying "The ass is cracked" when Billy Gunn takes the Rock Bottom.

    At first, I thought the locals were the Public Enemy but they were long gone by this time. APA are in full drinking mode here.

    Brain going "Why not" after Sting does the deathdrop to Robinson sums up this show well. Short match where Goldberg wins pretty easily.

    Flair barely tries to kick out. It almost looked like Robinson stopped on purpose. Flair bleeds but it's useless compared to Sid's earlier in the night. DDP gets over big as a heel here but then the Filthy Animals take his heat. Oh Russo #3 of the night.

    Man Sid's bladejob is insane. Way above the Muta scale. Weird way to end Sid's big streak push.
