  1. I'm sure it will end up being awesome because Roman's involved but I really have no interest in seeing him vs Grampy Edge.
  2. Turning Otis heel is interesting, he's a natural babyface but he did need a change as of late.
  3. I dunno, if you listen to Wrestling Twitter he's a nobody that's not going to make a difference, yet his merch is sellng.... so it's almost like people are just talking out of their asses. Yes, unless baseball delays the start of their season (the league and the players are squabbling over how many games will be played this season. WWE probably has until the end of March or the beginning of April depending on when they agree to start,
  4. They did, unfortunately most of their boomer-ass boomer audience has no idea who he is and is mad about it.
  5. Even without going back to watch, I feel like you can say "yes" for Shawn in this era at any point and be correct a high percentage of the time.
  6. Shawn going back to his trainer to get focused for an important match would be a fine enough idea, but having him be a full time manager was a puzzler for me at the time.
  7. I love how this thread pretty much confirmed that like most legendary things in WWE, they just kind of lucked into it. What started off as a showcase for their new zombie gimmick that Vince was obviously really into ended up with them going "oh shit, we accidentally booked a cool Mania undefeated streak, let's go with that". Then of course they had no exit plan and ended up blowing it all on someone who didn't need the rub.
  8. Tom's brother Lee (who was the one who broke the news of Tom's death) was tweeting at Snickers how they could sponsor a show (Mania) for a company run by a guy who admitted he knew Mel Phillips was doing stuff while he was working for the WWF. Which by the way is a real thing that happened, Vince admitted in an interview that he knew what was going on and somehow everyone just forgot about it.
  9. They mentioned on commentary something along the lines of "maybe Moxley wants the friendship again" and AEW usually drops hints like that for a reason so I would expect a Kingston face turn at some point. In fact that would be a great way to build the Omega match. Mox gets beat up by Kenny's goons until Eddie comes out to save his bro, and who better to have your back in a death match than Kingston?
  10. Something similar happened when Ryan Satin did a ranking of the women based on how they are used/how much they get on TV and everyone dogpiled him for ranking low the women who aren't being used or aren't on TV much. Like, I feel icky being in a position defending Satin, but if you're pissed at someone pointing out you aren't being used much it seems like your anger is being focused in the wrong direction. These incidents seem to have revealed some unhappy feelings among the women's roster in WWE and I guess since they all get programmed that nothing is the company's fault they have to lash out elsewhere.
  11. Not sure if he's really serious when he mentions getting into politics one day, but if he does he already has the "say a bunch of stuff without saying anything" part down pat. Like it took the biggest disaster of a President in US history for Rock to even say what little he did, but even then having to both-sides things was irritating.
  12. It's always hard to cast people to play pro wrestlers since most of them have such unique looks, but this show does the best job I've ever seen.
  13. I saw that and assumed she must have been working some angle or gimmick, since no one could possibly get that bent out of shape over something that silly.
  14. One of the best parts of their last death match was Renee live tweeting while living and dying on every bump Jon took. I'm hoping this leads to Onita showing up at some point. I mean, if you're going to have an exploding barbed wire death match you should call the professionals.
  15. He learned from the best, brother.
  16. I was taking it more as he's being fake in pretending he doesn't know what's going on.
  17. I suppose Sting's neck is better now.
  18. Riho is so great
  19. Also, RIHO
  20. I'd wager it's along the lines of "dude's an asshole but I'm not gonna let that mess up my money". It's obvious Drake's a made man at least in NXT circles so at this point saying something will probably just put a target on your back with management.
  21. Not gonna lie, I popped for -1 being the one directing traffic for the Dark Order run in.
  22. I'm kinda digging the story with Page and Hardy where Adam knows he's fulla shit but it's working so he's going with it.
  23. You seem really invested in this for some reason. I'm not trying to move any goalposts here, I (and a lot of other people) are simply pointing out someone who has previously posted racist beliefs (he's supported the Proud Boys before) made a hand gesture widely seen as racist. That's really the extent here. Anything else smacks of whataboutism.
  24. I hope that spoiler happens, I'd be all for it.
  25. I mean, I suppose the other guy could be smooth brained Q anoner too, but if he is he hasn't been as proudly vocal abut it. Drake has a history of publicly sharing his racist right wing views to anyone and everyone, but sure I guess I'm just making wild assumptions out of the blue here. Like, I could see the argument here if it was literally anyone else involved here but there's way too many examples of people who share his beliefs that just happen to be photographed making the exact same gesture. If I am assuming Drake has ALL the opinions I don't like, it's because he's been busy on Twitter/IG/Parler telling us that he indeed does have all the bad opinions. I mean, like the saying goes: when someone tells you who they are, believe them,
