Granted it was in AAA so not exactly the fairest place to determine one's ability, but Scarlett wasn't exactly showing any signs of in ring brilliance last time I saw her wrestling. Also not surprised the guy with the prominent "molon labe" tattoo is deep in the conspiracy kool aid.

Yeah I liked his line about while he *wants* to drop MJF on his head multiple times with it he doesn't *need* it to beat him. The whole story was MJF overreacting to getting punked out during his promo and thinking all he needs to do to win is take Mox's finisher away. I did like MJF mentioning he is not going to fall in the same trap others have and keep the match in the ring. Everyone's expecting this to be another crazy Mox brawl, so it would be great for MJF to pull an ECW Cactus Jack and slap on a headlock when people are expecting violence.

Bucks cost Hangman and Kenny the titles either accidentally or on purpose and we get full heel Kenny?

Brodie rocking the VKM suit, awesome.

Ryan "thinks he still works for WWE even though his show was canceled" Satin trying to start drama on Twitter comparing video of Tony Khan asking the live crowd to not do vulgar chants on TV and asking why it doesn't get held to the same standards as WWE attempting to fully produce the fans in the Thunderdome.
-
You can tell these guys clearly missed having a live crowd again and it's noticeably improving the show.
-
Not that I would want to see either, but I'd wager an Iron Man match in the Wyatt-verse would be far more entertaining, especially when mixed with the recreational chemical of your choosing.
-
So in response to Austin Theory showing back up in NXT, Dave basically insinuated its where WWE is going to put people who need a lower profile for a bit.
-
Shawn's gonna tithe his church an extra 10% for the Lord giving him the opportunity to book this match.
-
I was down for having a four way instead of a tournament, then they had to go and make it an Iron Man match and that's the biggest nope possible.

They said he was back in Canada dealing with a family issue when he wasn't at Takeover.

I see a looooooooooooooooot of people posting the #saveourchildren deal not realizing it's being run by a group that literally thinks pedophiles are hiding in every shrub in America. It's the perfect scheme too, after all what kind of person would question any group trying to speak out against trafficking? Then before you know it, you're getting bombarded with propaganda about the Deep State and "well they were right on child trafficking, maybe they are right on this too", and down the rabbit hole you go.

Yeah he could be macking on old ladies or being booked as a sex addict. I get your point, but the last (awesome) era of Henry's career shouldn't be used to erase the decade of Wrestlecrap he was put through to make him quit on the massive contract they had buyer's remorse over. All they need to do is get out of the way and let him be Keith Lee and everyone will be swimming in cash.
-
Now that I think about it "let's just package him like the other really strong black guy we had" sounds like the exact amount of effort Vince would put into it.
-
Like if Vince feels he needs to cover up his upper body, fine. Have him wear gear like Mark Henry, no need to have him in those Kevin Owens shorts that had everyone on Twitter calling it a tennis onesie. That made it seem like someone was trying to sabotage him right out of the box.

Surviving the initial burial/squandering on the main roster is the new "paying dues" in THA BIZ these days.
-
Yeah, music rights can get messy in a hurry, I don't begrudge anyone not wanting to deal with any of it. My issue with his debut was more how his debut match was used as a backdrop for the angle with Drew and that they gave him the Kevin Owens makeover. Anyone who never watched NXT but maybe heard buzz about him on the internet would see that and not understood what the big deal was. A main roster debut is your chance to knock it out of the park and I thought they squandered it. He should have been out there killing jobbers and shoulder blocking them into the top level of the Thunderdome.

Yeah unless AEW's audience completely falls off the cliff they'll be in good shape. TNT is getting solid ratings for a decent rate, and and AEW got enough money to let them survive the pandemic with minimal impact to their bottom line. That's why it's so annoying to see the smooth brained Twitter takes like "wHo cArEs aBoUt RaTiNgS" considering between TNT/AEW and USA/Fox/WWE TV deal are what is keeping major league level pro wrestling alive in the US.
-
He really seems like an all around solid dude. Seeing WWE guys respond to fan concerns without treating them like dumb marks to barely be tolerated shouldn't be the exception but more often than not it is.
-
Saturday Dynamite got 755,000 viewers which is way better than I was expecting. Also Dave mentioned the new guy in charge of TNT is not an anti-wrestling type of person, and when he was running Hulu putting wrestling on was part of his game plan. So there shouldn't be any fears of Jamie Kellner stype purge of the rasslin to happen again.
-
He said "I made you, you wouldn't be a monster without me" which is at both heelish and kind of fourth wall breaking at the same time.
-
Yeah the primary thought running through my head (well, after "wasn't he concerned about covid"") was "this is how he should have been presented the whole time".
-
He was more aggressive than any point since the days where the Shield was destroying everyone. Plus they didn't play his music after he laid everyone out, which are two noticeable presentation differences for someone who's presentation was one of the more highly managed ones in the company.

The openly and unabashedly racist ones used to have at least a little restraint unless you were on the real bad parts of the interwebs.
