  1. Yeah it made the rounds of all the video game sites, everyone basically LOL'ing at WWE and people not familiar with wrestling being all "who the fuck is this HHH guy and why should I care how he's portrayed?".
  2. Now Seth's patronizing Wade Keller too, which is something considering Wade's like the Bobby Eaton of wrestling journalists. Never heard anyone say anything bad/have issue with him and now Seth is trying to big time him.
  3. That, and also having to insert himself in every moment his NXT "kids" get (even on the main roster now apparently), having to format every match he's been in for the last 14 years as if it was a 70s-80s NWA world title match no matter if it's to the detriment of his opponent's style or not, that famous edict to video game reviewers that when taking screenshots for whatever year WWE game it was that HHH could not be show in a vulnerable state. Not to mention being allowed to say things and take shots in promos the other guy either can't say or isn't able to respond to.
  4. It should be noted that while Seth may believe what he's saying, "he took his ball and went home" is usually a dead giveaway you're really hearing Vince talking.
  5. HHH is an all time Hall of Fame policker, no one should ever doubt that. Dude went from Shawn's bag carrier to #2 in the company. Props to him for being able to channel his crippling insecurity in a way that secures the bag for not just him but his kids' kids.
  6. Hey now, David was a great promo. But yeah, I hope those kids' mom has the gift of gab because they sure weren't going to get it from dad.
  7. So Bray's puppets were in the background in at least two backstage segments tonight, according to the GIFs posted on Twitter.
  8. Yeah but he's still being 50-50'ed, even if it's in really good matches with AJ. Dude just won the title last night FFS.
  9. From what I've heard so far, yeah.
  10. It's probably weird in the building, but I'm liking this "no wrestling during commercial breaks" edict.
  11. Nah, it looks like instead of passing the torch, he's gonna pass the YARD to the Big Dog.
  12. I wonder if this angle with the Good Brothers ends with AJ putting them in a box and mailing them to Jacksonville.
  13. Man if Bill Watts was booking this tug-of-war, someone would have been hung with that rope and probably tar-and-feathered too.
  14. Well that was certainly unexpected.
  15. I'm still wondering why anyone would want the 24/7 title if all it does is lead to a mob of geeks chasing you everywhere you go.
  16. LOL @ Rowan trying to get some of that "Daniel Bryan is a huge babyface in Washington" heat with the Soundgarden shirt.

    AEW on TNT

Yeah the only chance there'd be a preemption on Wednesdays would be during the playoffs.
  18. Dusty did an angle in Florida where he had facial paralysis, which now looks like it was just cover for a legit issue.
  19. Poor Seth. Dude started off well trying to be the guy to rally the troops, but doing it before having a main event match with Baron Corbin just led him to get dunked on like he was defending mid 90s era Shaq. Plus he really seems to think people's issue with WWE is the level of effort the talent puts in....which is like some real bizarro world shit since that's usually the one thing most people *do* give WWE credit for.

    AEW on TNT

On last night's audio, Bryan and Dave talk about AEW getting a trademark for Wednesday Night Dynamite. Looks like that's probably going to be the day. I know the conventional wisdom was to go on Tuesdays since WWE established that as a wrestling day with Smackdown, but there'd be a ton of pre-emptions for NBA games if they were on then.

    WWE Hidden Gems

I always found it weird that the Fantastics are so underrated at a level usually reserved for people we don't have a lot of footage of, but that's obviously not the case here. It's like people watched the matches with the MX and think Bobby and Stan were doing all the work or something.
  22. He (KUSHIDA) said in interviews he felt he did everything he could in New Japan, which is probably true since I didn't get the impression they were moving him up to the heavyweight ranks anytime soon. Seems like he just needed/wanted a change of scenery, and at 36 I'm sure he figured this was his chance to get to do a US excursion for a few years and make some money on a lighter schedule.
  23. I get the feeling KUSHIDA wanted to cash out and get a sweet Nakamura gig to get paid to go surfing for a few years.

Buzz Sawyer yelling at randoms in the crowd was great too.

Hey if Bruce being around means they're digging around in the crates to find more stuff, more power to him.
