  1. Christian, easily.
  2. Crippler.
  3. The Undertaker
  4. Yokozuna and it's really no contest.
  5. Double A.
  6. Shawn could've busted out the standing moonsault or his old tear drop suplex finisher. Just a couple of things that spring to mind.
  7. The "Meltdown" was the only thing that Clarke ever did that seemed to get over. I guess Kronik kindof got cheers but I think that was from the loser stoners whom made the connection. Shit, Billy Gunn, Test, etc. even tried to rip-off the Meltdown on WWF shows!
  8. Why does it say Hogan Vs. Mr. T from the Wrestlemania 1 main event? The tagged against Orndorf & Pipes.
  9. I believe that they were an attempt to rip-off the Road Warriors; Hawk & Animal, as HTQ pointed out. Mel Gibson was in the movie the Road Warrior. Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome was a "sequel" with a character named Master Blaster. I guess they wanted the fans to notice that and think they were the new Road Warriors. I also take offense to HTQ pointing out that Bryan Clarke was Adam Bomb & one half of Kronik without mentioning Wrath.
  10. I'm glad that Benoit won, I guess. It's something that at least seems fresher than Triple H winning again. I don't know if I can get past my disappointments from earlier in the night though. I mean, why the hell did Christian lose in the first round? It seemed like WWE was getting ready to push him. Unless Kane wins the whole tournament and they build-up with the Kane/Batista confrontations from earlier encounters, it really doesn't serve any purpose. I was really upset when Chris Jericho lose to Edge though. I think that made me more upset than anything else. Especially with all the things going on outside the ring. We have Edge, whom already gets a title shot down the line thanks to "Money in the Bank", winning another big match...all after the Matt Hardy situation. It just seems like he's being rewarded. Not only that but Jericho still hasn't signed a new contract from my understanding. Wouldn't WWE want to get Jericho in their good graces again? Ugh. The Shelton/Michaels match was good. Shelton is the IC champion too so I can sort of see why they'd have HBK win. That doesn't mean that I have to be happy about it though. Shawn Michaels and Chris Benoit are both still in the tournament. If anyone can make Dave Batista look good in the ring, it'd be one of those two. I was really pulling for Christian though. Maybe that's just a pipe dream? Besides, I thought that we were getting HHH/Batista III in a Cell? So, what's the point of the tournament then?
  11. Val Venis
  12. DiBiase
  13. The Rock
  14. Rick Rude.
  15. Paul Orndorff.
  16. Eddy Guerrero
  17. Honky Tonk Man.
  18. The wrong man has went over in every single tournament match. Christian should've went over Kane. Shelton Benjamin should've went over Shawn Michaels. Chris Jericho should've went over Edge. I'm assuming that Triple H's opponent will be Chris Benoit. I'm assuming that Triple H will win. I'm assuming that I don't give a shit about that. Then again, I don't give a fuck about Benoit either. I wanted Jericho or Christian to win the damn thing. Instead, they're both eliminated in the first round.
  19. I didn't get to watch Backlash last night. I haven't watched Raw in three weeks now but I have been following via message forums. I tried to watch Backlash with Anvil and a couple of other friends last night but we're having PPV problems here in town. We couldn't buy the UFC PPV, we couldn't get the Pride PPV and now Backlash didn't work. Anyway, I might actually watch the show tonight. The SA wrestling thread is hard to keep up with because it moves so fast plus I want to see all the fallout from Backlash. I'm curious if Hassan & Daivari are dead in the water since they jobbed out last night. I'm curious if Big Vis will be on TV again. There's just a lot of questions.
  20. May I ask whom Lance Russel is?
  21. John "Bradshaw" Layfield I just think that his gimmick is better than anything Jarrett did in WWF.
  22. Bob Backlund ...and I have no doubt in my mind that I'll be the only person to vote for him. I was the biggest Backlund mark ever when he came back as a heel and snapped. I even put my sixth grade history teacher in the Crossface Chickenwing. I loved his submission match with Bret Hart. I thought he was hilarious when he'd try to get people to name all the presidents in order for an autograph and shit. Mick Foley, in my eyes, is exactly how Flair described him in his book. A glorified stunt man. He's not really a GREAT wrestler. He had his great matches, like the one with Hunter and he got his runs with the belt. He had some decent feuds like with The Rock and he was a great promo. I just never had the love for him like most people did. Foley seems to have got big since he'd get thrown around like a ragdoll. I loved his books though.
  23. Randy Orton Neither have really done anything in WWE. Tajiri has been bounced around and won some tag gold. Orton has been bounced around and randomly won IC and World Title gold. I think that Tajiri is the better worker but he doesn't really get a chance to prove it in WWE.
