  1. The Hammer Valentine.
  2. This is really hard for me. I'm going with Adonis. I liked him a lot.
  3. Arn Anderson will make the tournament. Voted Brainbusters.
  4. Funk because I know he's done more than Rikishi. Not to mention he helped out ECW a lot. The Sulton sucked.
  5. Savio sucked. Voted IRS.
  6. Val Venis because I'm a mark.
  7. Tajiri. Not just because of the better workrate but because he wasn't Johnny B. Badd. He didn't have a shitty boxing match with Scotty Flamengo.
  8. Oh shit, I'm stoked!
  9. This is terrible. I was hoping to see a Triple Threat reunion at the ECW show. He, shit...I can't even say anything else. I wonder how Tammy is holding up. Candido helped her get through a lot of tough times it would seem. I'll be throwing up the Triple Threat sign in his honor all day today.

  11. Samoa Joe fearing not getting work is the worst thing that I think I have ever read. He's probably my current favorite wrestler. If he keeps up what he's been doing and only goes on to improve, he may go down as one of my favorites of all-time. Hearing him worry about getting work though? That's insane. As good a worker as he is....
  12. Whatever duder, that's when they got even more comedy! Jimmy Jam Garvin with Badstreet and Big Daddy Dink. Can't forget DDP. GOOD GAWD! LOL!
  13. Whoa, I thought there was no way someone would share my Michael Hayes sentiments. That's crazy. Was you a member of the fan club? I didn't want him crushing my head!
  14. I see that the current vote count is 9-0. Does ANYONE like the Raw commentary?
  15. OK, yeah, I agree with that.
  16. You know you want to participate. NO HONORABLE MENTIONS (which includes "just missed the list). That's cheating! PUT THEM IN ORDER, damnit! "I can't put them in order" is a fucking cop-out, man. 1. Vader Vader is the best big man to ever wrestle in my eyes. Seeing as how I'm a big guy myself, and pretty much always have been, I looked at Vader as sort of a role model. He was the reason that I started watching WCW over WWF. He was also a big reason why I started looking for japanese matches. 2. Michael "P.S." Hayes The Fabulous Freebirds are my favorite tag team of all-time. That alone is enough to include Hayes. Still, his character, love him or hate him, made you want to tune in. He just screamed charisma to me. He was a playboy but he backed up his mouth in the ring. Or at least cheated to win. 3. Nikita Koloff He was fucking crazy. I believed it when he snapped on people. He wasn't the greatest wrestler but I marked hard for his promos. I'll never forget when he snapped on Lex Luger and told him that it was HIS US title. He had "the look." 4. "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka I don't like him for the same reasons that Foley did. Although I thought that cage match leap was cool, by the time I'd seen it, I'd already watched TLC matches and shit. So it wasn't that big of a deal to me. When you look at it's time frame it was. I liked Snuka because I thought he was a great flyer. I liked him because he was different. Hell, he never even really talked. He just seemed like a crazy, cracked out flying samoan. 5. The Great Muta The Muta in WCW was fabulous. Next to Jushin Liger, I think Muta was the first japanese wrestler that I ever saw. He was a great wrestler with a larger than life entrance. He was wrestling ahead of his time. He was just so fresh. He didn't need to talk. The language barrier didn't matter because his ring work was so great.
  17. Fucking A, Bad News Brown Vs. Adrian Adonis is going to be REALLY hard for me...and that's just to get them IN to the tournament.
  18. Ah, I see where you're coming from now. The single's wrestlers could give the rub, so to speak, to the new tag team champions. See, I don't know, I still think that the single's wrestlers would have to get wins over other tag teams to get "built up" so that they had a rub to give. Even if they have tons of accolades from single's wrestling, it shouldn't matter in the tag team scene.
  19. Like that? It'll take more labor, and time, to get the results in but then you don't have anyone voting more than once or any of the other crap that can happen with polls.
  20. Who's to say that people are going to be available to vote for every round though? Who's to say that we won't get more interested parties? That's not fair either. Not fair to the posters. We don't want to be waiting for round three to finish for three weeks because Sek's laptop broke down. I don't think it should be done via polls.
  21. I actually don't understand why people have to vote ahead of time to tell you that they're going to vote. So, if someone registers on Saturday they can't vote? If someone is on vacation and don't get back until late Friday night, they can't vote? It's silly. Just take votes each round and end on an even number so there's not ties.
  22. I like to think that in the future WWE will focus more on in-ring work, like Ring of Honor, as opposed to storylines and "larger than life" appeal. I've never thought that size or age mattered in wrestling. If you can go, you can go. That's really all there is to it. If a wrestler can wrestle great but can't talk, get him a mouthpiece like in the 80's. A return of male managers wouldn't be a bad thing. I voted "no." I don't think it will always matter. In fact, I think we'll start seeing a change in the near future. Possibly in the next five years. Call me optimistic.
  23. I agree. If it's just going to come down to Bret Hart, Chris Benoit, Eddy Guerrero & Kurt Angle, what's the point? It's taking FOREVER to get this ball rolling. Can we at least get some teaser qualifying brackets posted or something?
  24. I don't know. I disagree with that. Having two single's wrestlers slapped together has always pissed me off. Especially when they suddenly win in tag team matches. I don't care if it's two main eventers against a lower midcard tag team. The tag team should ALWAYS win. The experience should be built up and what not. Austin & The Rock shouldn't be able to defeat The Dudley Boyz for example. I don't care if Austin has former tag experience or whatnot. He doesn't have the cohesiveness with the Rock. The Dudleyz have a lot of team experience. They know each other well. They know tag team wrestling well. They should be able to cut the ring in half and tag advantage of non-tag wrestlers. Same with Benoit & Jericho. They shouldn't be able to beat La R?sistance, The Dudleyz or MNM.
