  1. Would just like to point out that I've got a 36-pick gap again. That's back-to-back 36-pick gaps.
  2. Sure, he has to be in the Carolinas for the next night.
  3. Poor Andre living in airports with all of those people staring at him all the time.
  4. Seeing the broadway from the promoter's perspective, it actually must have saved a ton of cash.
  5. Have at least 3 picks before him, so was just waiting to get him cheap / almost free. Between him and Rodz, my lower card has taken a bit of a knock. Maybe I can just get Brisco-Dory to go 60 minutes every single night so eleveate the need for a mid-card at all, lol.
  6. Can you please check to see if this would be humanly possible. He'd have to fly from Puerto Rico to Calgary and still make both shows. Doable?
  7. Oh fuck, well there goes my tag division plans.
  8. Grimmas and Beast will need to change those two late November dates.
  9. Thanks all, updated OP. Days of the week might be helpful too, because it helps with our weekly schedules.
  10. Post your dates on Andre here. This will make it easier to keep track of and easier for others to plan. 11. I think you can draw a direct line from ECW to the phenomena that has plagued wrestling for the past 15 years: no, I'm not talking about garbage wrestling or hardcore or anything like that, I'm talking about the annoying-as-fuck smarky crowds getting themselves over. "You fucked up" definitely has its genesis in ECW, but I bet "this is awesome" does too. I don't know if Heyman is personally resonsible for that, but he certainly encouraged it. Those types of chants are a cancer on pro wrestling and accordingly I find him guilty your honour. I'd honestly swap Paul Heyman's entire career for not having to endure those smarky crowds.
  12. Just for Matt D: WWWF @ New York City, NY - Madison Square Garden - November 17, 1975 Billy Robinson defeated Johnny Rodz
  13. Dude, if it was just a case of picking guys who were already over in the territory, there is literally no point in the draft, so I wouldn't worry. I've picked guys based on what they can bring. Booking gets people over, the talent helps. What does it matter that Bock didn't work Kansas? He would have gotten over there without doubt.
  14. In the space of a couple of weeks Sgt. Slaughter was more over in MSG than Rodz ever was. That crowd were used to new guys coming in and out all the time. He also worked very hard. Rodz was a good hand who did a good job though and will be hard to replace for what he did.
  15. You can get people over in a few shows. This is called booking. In the case of Ole, give him a mic.
  16. For what it's worth I think Rocket Crypt has had a pretty good draft for CWF.
  17. Waldo was part of a big angle where the three wise men brought back all their old charges to try to take out Snuka. It was a homage to the way Backlund went over all of Bruno's old foes as well as to DC comics. And a way of getting Snuka over as champ without sacrificing any of my heels. It wasn't big names for the sake of big names, but if you want to discuss that you should take it to that thread.
  18. I pushed for you to be in this game, just remember that.
  19. You're making a lot of assumptions.
  20. I'm not sure I'd go that far. But then again something is happening that I don't really understand here because we're living in a world where Pez Whatley and Hector Gurrero get picked before certified Box Office like Ernie Ladd and Ole Anderson.
  21. That's a big loss to me because I actually had plans for him. I think it's time for my drafting plans to switch into phase two.
  22. Borica, I can't believe you took Rodz. Didn't expect any competition for him at all.
