  1. So you agree that we can both keep running shows in Ohio?
  2. Since we have both been running Ohio earlier in the year, I think it is fair that we can both carry on running shows there. Detroit, however, is mine. As you will see, I am the territory closest to Michigan and it is a natural place for me to run. California is mine. We have already agreed that Central States will run St. Louis.
  3. As an outsider to the NWA you should stay out of matters internal to the NWA.
  4. What is the Blanchard's stake in all of this I ask? Here's a visual representation of goc:
  5. The WWF were running shows and selling out across OH in early 1983, look at it. If you don't want to run the same towns on Ohio, we need to agree who runs which towns and carve it up. But also this:
  6. WWF @ Akron, OH - Copley High School Gym - February 26, 1983 (2,700) WWF @ Warren, OH - WD Packard Music Hall - February 27, 1983 (3,000; sell out) WWF @ Steubenville, OH - St. Johns Arena - March 18, 1983 (6,500) WWF @ Struthers, OH - Fieldhouse - April 3, 1983 (3,500; sell out) WWF @ East Liverpool, OH - April 13, 1983 (1,500) WWF @ Akron, OH - Copley High School - April 14, 1983 (1,000) And so on. You are also stirring Southwest booker man, these lands are a long way from the Southwest. I suggest you keep your beak out.
  7. Including loans I currently have 14 on my roster.
  8. Southwest Championship Wrestling is trying to stir up shit within the NWA. I don't think we should stand for all this stirring!
  9. Vince McMahon Sr would never "invade" an NWA promotion, come on now. Ohio is a WWF market. It's not even near Georgia.
  10. Vince McMahon Sr is currently neutral on the question of NWA champion. However, he has noted a young talent by the name of Bret Hart that he is tipping for "great things". He was quoted as saying that the youngster has a great future ahead of him in this business and will do his best to develop and showcase him on WWF TV in the coming months.
  11. Hey guys, I don't remember no vote allowing Vince and his kid to move into LA, do you? Was I asleep? Mike LaBell sold the office to the WWF when he closed up at the end of 1982. 12. I am not happy about people wanting to compete in established WWF secondary markets such as Ohio, LA and Detroit.
  13. Vince McMahon Sr is proud to announce the WWF's next pick: WWF Champion Bob Backlund!
  14. The Great Yatsu
  15. I think Japanese workers should be considered off-limits unless they ACTUALLY WORKED the US that year. In TEW, for example, lots of the Japanese guys have a "only works in Japan" tag.
  16. Sorry, Bock and Heenan so ingrained as AWA in my mind, it just came out.
  17. Oh sorry, that's a typo.
  18. The WWF is happy to announce a trade deal with Central States. The deal sees a talent exchange which sees Bobby Heenan working shows for the AWA, with Nick Bockwinkel coming the other way. Exact dates have not yet been finalised, but this will be on an on-going basis.
  19. Vince McMahon Sr as one of the most respected promoters in the business, would like a seat on the council, but will not be running for President. He does request that since WWF represents the largest population area for the NWA, including its new markets on the West Coast, that Phil Zacko should also have a seat on the council and a vote. This would be proportionally fair. The WWF can keep the NWA banner flying strong, but there needs to be some recompense.
  20. The WWF is pleased to announce a trade deal with Stampede Wrestling in Calgary. The deal will see Andre the Giant work 4 dates for Stampede in exchange for Bret Hart working 3 months of TV tapings -- to gain experience and exposure for the kid. This was done as a favour from Vince McMahon Sr to Stu Hart.
  21. The retirement thing is a really key consideration for one particular worker. Seems to me that if he was still working as opposed to being bought out by Vince, he might not have retired. You know who I'm talking about. I think the impending death thing is morbid whichever way you do it. Grand Wizard died in October 83, so what happens? Someone drafts him and deals with his heart attack? Or he lives beyong it? In either case, I don't think mordibity is something we can be too squeamish about. Especially when like half of the guys are dead anyway.
  22. I am not, I am merely running towns that WWF actually ran in 1983. If the NWA is opposed to me running St. Louis, I won't run it. Vince McMahon Sr is a proud member of the NWA.
  23. Parv would have to drop out of the NWA in order to run Central States. Then the NWA can help Central States run better cards and the WWF can fail. We would need some kind of poll. Are you vetoing me running St. Louis? Did Central States really run St. Louis in 83? St. Louis Wrestling Club ran twice in July, then there is nothing until December by the WWF. I am counting Larry Matysik as an employee. I won't run St. Louis if the NWA opposes. I am running shows in Ohio and Detroit though. Will wait for decision on St. Louis.
