    We start with Dutch with his great line about John Bobbitt and the knife. Curtis really examining the contract signings here to make sure things are official.

    Very average for me on this one. Nothing really stood out. I await for better AJPW stuff on set as we move along.

    Really enjoy the AJPW matches that involve the lesser names. Yeah, it makes for more predictable ending but they can be alot of fun. Asako interrupts and gets a kick in the back and one in the face for good measure by Kawada. Later Asako interferes when Kawada has Kobashi in armbar and gets a slapped around too. Finish comes with Kawada just launching Asako with the powerbomb. Kawada just had enough with him. Really good.

    This was great for me. Tenryu hits a clothesline and Hash comes immediately back with a great kick to the midsection. From there is just great back and forth action between the two. Lots of emotion between the two beating one another other. Best singles match for me so far.

    Steiners have been one of my favorites on this set so far. So with the men in this match I was expecting something really good. There are plenty of suplexes to keep me happy. Power Warrior was up and down here but I did like him clotheslining Rick and Scott one after the other. He hit some nice moves but wasn't showing the needed fire.

    I actually like the finish as enjoy Psicosis and didn't expect him to win this one. I felt this wasn't all there though as a match. It did pick up at the end but I was expecting a bit more overall.

    Ron Wright takes the lead here for best dressed over Dory Funk. I'm not really into chain matches so this was just okay to me.

    From SMW set originally for me. This is better on second viewing. I agree with the above that the set a faster pace then the rest of the wrestlers in SMW at this time. Length of this match felt about right for me though. These guys wrestled some good matches against each other.

    Yep, Psicosis' mask threw me off here without the horns. I'm not the biggest Lucha fan. This was alright but seemed too short. The long crowd shots get annoying.

    I probably didn't need to watch a single minute of the match before to appreciate these promos. Loved Terry's promo. He just came off so emotional. That still being champion meant so much to him. Douglas was really good too even with his potty mouth. Sherri didn't feel right here to me but she was really just off to the side anyways.

    Didn't realize it was Dick Togo out there until he got in the ring. Ah, I wasn't as high on this as you guys. I loved the regular MPro spots that are fun. Shinzaki just didn't belong here. I don't think he contributed much. This match needed more TAKA. Maybe I will need to rewatch again. Good match, but again I am not as big on this as the rest of you.

    Turner seemed pretty involved in WCW back in 94. Wow, real good stuff from Flair here. I still can't get over that he is the bad guy once Hogan shows up.

    I have never seen this match at all. Really only thing I took from this was the crowd seemed pretty quiet for a match going 60 minutes. I was surprised it wasn't included on the ECW set so I guess it is not thought of too highly to watch in full. It looks to be a extra on the new ECW blu ray coming out so maybe I will be brave and watch it in full.

    Did Dave cover SMW in the newsletter back in 1994? Would have liked to have read his comments about this match. Decent bout.

    Tammy came off so confident which I think was really impressive for the age she was here. She just had it.

    Having zero knowledge of Ron Wright until watching these yearbooks, I continue to appreciate the guy more and more. Just one of those promo guys I really enjoy. Nice to see he is out of the wheel chair and not wearing his Yankees clothing. Dirty White Boy follows it up with a great promo.

    Dory should have customized his hat as a weapon ala Oddjob from Goldfinger.

    Watching this couldn't help but think about how when Bret starting doing promos he put sunglasses on to make it easier on himself. Owen follows suit here.

    Todd needs to work on the curve of his baseball hat. Sits a little too high on his head also. Good promo by Bret. Very believable that is pains him to have to wrestle his brother.

    Who is the agent with the white hair? This coin toss turned out for the best as we got Bret/Owen to lead off WM. I like the Bret is having trouble with losing the toss as he now has to wrestle his brother. The piped in crowd cheering at the end was pretty fake.

    A Johnny Polo match. Curious me would have liked to have seen more. IRS says the Rocker Dropper should be outlawed and that it is illegal. Perfect would later bring up that it can break you neck. I think it was a requirement of heel announcers to make comments about the move. These days it would just end up on the banned list.

    Gene's putting his glasses in his mouth to try put over the serious of the press conference. Vader gets hit with a pretty ridiculous fine of $25K for interrupting the press conference. That was just harsh. Good stuff here. Steamboat is pretty fired up at the end.

    Pillman has a lot of friends to come to his aid and they stick around to keep the heels away. Which leaves Parker at Pillman's mercy. Couldn't make out the guy standing next to Typhoon outside the ring.

    These promos they do together really shows the charisma/promo ability difference of the brothers. Dory is in indeed dressed very fine. I love when Cornette rips on these SMW crowds where they then scan to the crowd and you can't help but agree with what he is saying about them.
