  2. I would probably go with WWF 84-85. The roster was really stacked, plus you had some of the hottest feuds like Piper vs Snuka, Valentine vs Tito and Sarge vs Sheik. They also had a fresh and motivated champion in Hulk with a great variety of opponents. The presentation was pretty good as well with only World Class being better at the time. 83 World Class would be my second choice if I could have one.

  5. I have a hard time seperating the wrestler and the person. Especially if they commited a heinous act like a Benoit or Ken Wayne. If I have an emotional investment in a wrestler and they commit the unthinkable I can't just turn the other cheek. Sorry it doesn't work that way with me. I can't justify giving accolades to a muderer or molester no matter how good they were in the ring. Being a jerk or a bully like Dynamite or a druggie like Kerry I can look past.
  6. I already have them in my top five. I go back and forth on if the RNR or Fantastics are better all the time. I especially love their offense. Even their selling is top notch. Rogers is only a peg below Morton when it comes to selling IMO. The MX and Sheepherders are their best opponents overall. I do wish they had a little more variety. Still that won't stop them from being in the top five.
  7. They won't make my list. I just can't separate the wrestler from the person when it comes to Ken Wayne.
  8. Cool, I'll check that one out in the next few days. Thanks
  9. I don't remember anything memorable in Texas. What match is worth seeking out?

  11. You have quite a bit of Southwest. That's where he teamed with Gino Hernandez, along with the famous break up of the team. It's worth seeking out the break up at least. Southwest was a real blood and guts type of promotion that has some fun stuff.
  12. I didn't renew. I really wanted to support the Network, but I can't. Just not enough territory TV for me. The new PPVs don't entice me to subscribe since I stopped watching them once my kids lost interest in wrestling. I agree the old PPVs are nice to have at your fingertips, they just aren't what I'm the most interested in. If they get their act together with the territory stuff I'll renew.
  13. No worries man. Just wanted to point it out for those who thought it was low.
  14. That didn't sound accurate to me, so I gave it a quick check. Doc/DiBiase teamed over fifty times and that doesn't even count six man tags. http://www.midatlanticgateway.com/resourcecenter/results/pages/results_dibiase.htm

    Money Inc.

I was in my early twenties when this team was around and I absolutely hated them. They had go away and never come back type of heat. Fast forward twenty years and I can appreciate their heel antics now. I know many dislike that Summer Spectacular cage match with the Steiners. I enjoyed it a lot despite the limitations they had with no blood and low violence. I find the escape spots pretty unique and realistic looking. Rotunda actually outworked DiBiase in this one. I would agree that they are underrated, but they won't make my list.
  16. Predictably the worst His reasoning for not even considering the Anderson's is frankly pathetic. What an awful reason. Like Ole would honestly even give a shit if he went in.
  17. I nominated the Bulldogs despite not thinking they were a great team in a traditional sense. I see them as very similar to the Steiners where their structure and psychology isn't always the best, but they sure were fun to watch. I really wish those cage matches against the Hart Foundation were available just to see them in that type of environment. I have seen most of their WWF, NJPW and AJPW stuff. I might have to revisit a handful of matches to make a better assessment. As of now I see them in the middle of the pack.

    Demolition

I've never been a Demolition fan, so if this was a popularity poll they wouldn't be on it. Since it isn't, they'll be on it somewhere, as they were a great team. Most likely around 20 give or take two spots. They consistently had good matches with a huge variety of opponents no matter if they were heel or face. With that being said Ax certainly carried this team, so they are a little uneven for me.
  19. When I first started watching wrestling in 1981 this was my favorite team. Even with my biased towards them I think they were a great team that I appreciate even more as I've gotten older. Some of the main criteria I'm looking for like longevity, tag work and heated feuds they have. Even their promos were perfectly fine. They will be in my top ten most definitely.
  20. I don't see this team landing in my top 25. Just not enough top tier stuff. No fault of their own necessarily. I just don't think they were in the right place at the right time sort of thing. I like a couple of matches in the AWA. At least one against the Rockers and another against the Guerreros. I'll have to revisit a few like the handheld against RNR along with the Patera/Rheingans bout. Obviously the WWF Royal Rumble match is pretty famous. I like the quick pace of that one. Another I found recently was against LOD on a SNME. They don't get in a lot of offense, still they bump their asses off and make LOD look like a million bucks. I'll have to check out their cup of coffee in ECW when I get a chance. Promo wise they always had a manager from what I remember, so I will try not to hold their lack of talking against them.
  21. I always found this team fascinating due to their longevity. They will definitely get an A± in that category at the very least. The amount of territories this team worked ( Boyd included) is quite impressive as well.
  22. I've heard people claim on KM that this team was better and more over than RNR. I'm not sure if there's enough footage available to warrant that. From what footage is out there I really enjoyed this team. They had a decent run as far as length goes. I'll revisit some of their matches soon. I can't remember much in the promo department, so I'll have to seek some of those out as well. Not expecting much in that area.
  23. I definitely need to see more Montreal stuff. The feud with the Garvins is compelling stuff with a lot of fire. Outside of that they were very bland as faces in the WWF. As heels I thought they found their niche. They were really good as pompous heels. I liked how they were oblivious to the fans booing them. What hurts them for me are during their heel run they only feuded with two top teams. The Rockers and Hart Foundation. Matches with the Rockers were better. I wish that 60 minute match from Boston Garden was available to see how they did with that kind of time. After those two teams they get delegated to wrestling in comedy matches with the Bushwhackers. I don't expect to rank this team very high, still I think they were underrated during those heel years.
  24. The following teams all have threads started in the microscope. The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers. http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/19435-fabulous-rougeaus/&do=findComment&comment=5555504 The British Bulldogs. http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/19471-the-british-bulldogs/&do=findComment&comment=5537833 The Steiner Brothers. http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/19172-the-steiner-brothers/ Steamboat and Youngblood. http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/19314-steamboat-and-youngblood/&do=findComment&comment=5535339 Demolition. http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/16445-one-and-only-demolition-thread/&do=findComment&comment=5508967
  25. That site is still online. Some of those free sites don't work very well in mobile version. The owner just updated it in August. Here's a link to his updates from the KM board: http://www.infinitecore.ca/superstar/index.php?threadid=50589
