  1. I think it works great now. VOD problems seem to be sorted out. I haven't had any problems with the resume function as others have mentioned. Fast forwarding seems to work good, I just wish you could actually see where you are instead of guessing. You can go by the time at least. BTW I have a Roku 2.

  3. The WCW mag ad had a cartoon picture of Steamboat vs. Rude. So I would go with that. Much more stock should go in ads back then compared to now. I guess you could make a case for Sting vs. Cactus since Sting was Champ.
  4. I asked Ross Hart when I interviewed him, and the answer is no, unfortunately. With their shoestring budget, they didn't edit. They just turned on the camera when the match picked up.The exception is the TSN shows from '87-the end, plus the rare match they aired in full of course, like the Stomper turn. I was always under the impression all of it was clipped from what I read by Ross on the KM board. So that's pretty cool if they have the late 80's stuff in full.TSN aired full matches in a 90 minute slot starting with Summer '87 stuff on a 3 month delay. Oh wow, I never knew that. That makes sense then. Hopefully they show some of those.
  5. A fun spotfest type of match he might like would be Sting/Lex vs. Steiners from Superbrawl Bash match from 90 with Midnight Express vs. Southern Boys is another one to add.

  8. Yep same guy.
  9. The owners cuts are pretty interesting as well. The 1st Qt payoff wasn't too shabby for guys like Gagne, Geigel, etc.
  10. R.I.P. Very sad. Always was amazed at his moves when I was a kid watching the AWA.
  11. I believe Goldie Rogers was the other. Definitely a strange looking fellow.
  12. Yeah mine is the same way. For example WCW 93 only has two ppvs and 2000 had none.
  13. I can't get anything to play for longer than a few minutes on the Roku 2. If I get lucky enough for to even play in the first place. It states an error occurred try again in a few minutes. I also notice ppvs missing. For example WCW 99 and 93 only have two listed. Very strange. Hopefully it will be better in the next few days as I don't have anymore time to mess around with it tonight.
  14. Does being a rapper count as a profession? If so you could add John Cena during his rapper days. I will admit I kind of dug it despite not liking rap or hip hop music.
  15. I thought wrestling was real when in the AWA around late 83 Mr. Saito threw salt in the eyes of Hulk Hogan during a trophy presentation. I pretty much figured it out the following year when we got our first VCR. Then I started taping a few matches here and there and I would slow down or pause certain moves and I quickly realized they weren't on the level.
  16. A fun blog that is updated every week on Thursday is a wrestling memorabilia blog by a guy named Josh. http://wrestlingmemorabilia.blogspot.com/?m=1
  17. Only my close friends and family know I watch wrestling. I definitely don't go around advertising I like wrestling. If it happens to come up in a conversation I will try and figure out how big of a fan they are before I really reveal how much I enjoy it.

  19. Great point. Watching a live Raw show in person when they cut to a commercial during a match can be unbearable. Makes it hard to suspend disbelief. Like everybody else I've just gotten used to it at this point. Commercial breaks are nothing compared to cutting the main event during the JCP or UWF days. That drove me crazy.
  20. That spot in the Wrestle War 90 match still cracks me up everytime. Patrick is so animated you can't help but laugh despite the silliness of it.
  21. The KM board was really busy years ago. It was the very first board I posted at and still do on occasion. I probably only visit it once a week now. I always liked the uniqueness of having a separate section for each territory. It made it real easy to find certain topics. Plus some posters were experts on a specific territory which made it great for info. I think the novelty of it has just worn off somewhat now as well as some really good posters getting run off over the years. The rule of no talk past 89 probably hurt having younger posters as well ( they did change that rule now to include ECW and go up to 95 I believe).
  22. His daughter posted quite a few progress reports on twitter a while back. He seemed to be doing well. I haven't read anything lately.
  23. Love the new look of the board. My biggest reason would be now there is a mobile version. For me that's awesome as I use for my phone to access the board and rarely if ever go on a computer anymore. Great job!
  24. Sounds cool. That makes sense. Thanks
  25. Did I imagine that there were new 80's threads by year and month similar to the the way the yearbook threads are made up? I don't see them anymore.
