  1. Kind of a weird song choice and choice of clips for a wrestling video. Most of this was Dundee driving in a car, talking on a payphone, and drinking coffee.
  2. Sting claims that the doctor's say he will be out for 6 months to a year, but we all know that he came back quite a bit sooner than that, so I wonder what the real diagnosis was. He doesn't give Luger as much support as I would expect. Good promo from Sting here.
  3. More nonsense from both guys. Hogan's promos seem to have some semblance of reality while Warrior seems like he is from another dimension.
  4. A good promo here that builds up two feuds that have overlapped. I really don't like Brother Love at all, but his interview segment has really been used to build a lot of the storylines during this point of the WWF.
  5. Great match here and I think it is at this point in the set that I would consider WCW to be the top promotion of 1990 so far. Pillman is able to really hang in there with Flair which puts this head and shoulders above the Tom Zenk match. Still, I prefer Flair vs Eaton.
  6. I thought this was bad. Most of the match seemed to consist of trying to roll the other guy out of the ring onto the barbed wire boards. Very tame for today's deathmatch standards.
  7. Nice seeing the first match between these two, but it was uneventful for the most part. I disagree with the finish here since in my eyes it shouldn't have been a double DQ, Jannetty blatantly interfered and that was when the bell was rang. Bret should have rightfully won this match.
  8. I was always a fan of The Model character. Awesome seeing the debut of Arrogance in this fun over-the-top promo.
  9. Some nice put-downs on on Dundee here which are always enjoyable. I'm not familiar with Rockin Randy's ringwork, but he was an entertaining guest on Art of Wrestling.
  10. I would love to see what was on this video as it is obviously kayfabed. This is being sold at a pretty steep price, especially for 1990, but I guess that's not too big of a deal since it will increase your income.
  11. The main event is set for WrestleMania, but which title will be on the line? I can't imagine anyone would be expecting or hoping that the IC title would be up for grabs in the main event of Mania.
  12. I love these segments with Lawler. The zoo line was tops for me from this one. I laugh throughout all of these and the crowd seems to be having a great time too.
  13. Great promo here with the Horsemen back in full fledged heel mode. This does a nice job of recovering from the stupidity that was Clash of Champions.
  14. It's kind of strange that they aired a commercial for a calendar in mid-February. The calendar doesn't appear to be all that enticing based upon this ad.
  15. This is a nice bit of 90's nostalgia with the Power Glove being offered as a prize. I wonder what was on that "Wrestling's Greatest Hits" video.
  16. Nice promos by all 3 guys here with Dundee's being the best. Kerry cuts his best promo on the set thus far, which also means it is his least entertaining promo. These promos along with Lawler's make me want to see this 6-man tag, even if Garvin is in it.
  17. Nice promo here by Lawler who predicts the upcoming 6-man tag will be a blowout. Lawler exposes Garvin as not being in the same league as him and Travis, and I am inclined to agree.
  18. Robert Fuller on the mic has been a bit of an eye opener for me on this set as he is a guy that I haven't really watched too much footage of. Another great promo from Fuller while Lee is just kind of there.
  19. Very good tag match which is what you would expect with these two great teams. I love Funk, but he is bad on commentary here, he speculates that this could be the last match in the Midnight and Rock n Roll Express rivalry when they already have a match scheduled for Wrestle War. Camera was off for the finish which is a little annoying.
  20. The crowd was very hot for this one and it turned out to be a very intense match. I didn't seem to enjoy this match as much as the others in this thread as it seemed to me that this match was a bit all over the place with not much direction. Predictable finish for an interpromotional match with neither team coming out the winner.
  21. This is infamous for Vader's eye injury and it is also a very good match. This match is an all out war with both guys just laying in punches and brawling all over the ringside area. I would probably rank this as the best match of this show.
  22. Great crowd and a good but unremarkable match. The finishing minutes were really hot as it looked like Jumbo might submit to Kido twice. The actual finish with the Thesz Press was king of lame and came out of nowhere. Overall I would say that this match was made by the great crowd.
  23. I really dug this match. Some wonderful classic wrestling matwork here which is refreshing to see considering today's trend of doing MMA style matwork. Crowd was really into this as well and Zybyszko did a good job of hitting a low blow, which isn't done too often in Japan. Nicely worked match here and one I would probably view again.
  24. JR announces that Sting has been attacked by the Horsemen and has an injured leg. Sounds better than telling the truth and making Sting look like a jackass by announcing that he injured his leg trying to climb a cage.
  25. Pahdnas! Sad to hear Funk's Grill coming to an end as it has been a good segment. Looks like it will be replaced by the Louisville Slugger. Nice set up for Cornette's show and I'm sure it will be better than the Brother Love show.
