  1. I don't think people will be unhappy with any of the three winning in night 2 to be honest. I guess if Edge wins by being "the ultimate opportunist" with a bullshit finish then there's going to be boos because the (most likely very fucking good) main event was cut by heel fuckery. But I don't know, I don't picture the crowd being upset about Roman retaining -that's actually the best outcome, imo- or Edge winning somewhat cleanly. I mean sure, Bryan getting the belt would get the biggest reaction of the three but it's not a WM 30 scenario were him not winning was inconceivably stupid.
  2. Is it safe to say Ishii is the heir to the Hansen method of wrestling, were a wrestler is so fucking good at the stuff he knows how to do that he doesn't need to change much of his approach no matter who his opponent is because it's going to translate in a dope match anyway?
  3. Awesome.
  4. @Grimmas @Loss For the nominations threads. What will be the limit on links for matches? I guess youtube and dailymotion are fair game. But what kind of stuff is better to not post in this board and just use other outlets to get the material out there?

    Sasha Banks

This is gonna be a really interesting case. I think she no doubt has a legit argument for being in it this time around. Her highs are up there with anyone on the WWE roster from the same period and I think she's has the highest lows from the 2010's NXT/WWE women generation. I'm gonna be very curious if her having a decade working will work against her with voters thinking it's still too early to judge her as a more serious candidate (top 50, 30, 20, 10) or on the contrary, being in her peak, with so much exposure and being such a standout on WWE TV will have climb up in ranking. Also very interested in how much her influence will play a part in this process. I guess this is more of a broad question as I'm legit curious in how people will take into account that kind of stuff. I know there's already been discussions about promos and drawing, but Sasha is a key figure in a pretty damn big and important shift in WWE AND has the matches to back up her case. Anyways, she's fucking awesome. If she ends up going Hollywood I hope she is still able to get a couple of more runs, specially in other places, before 2026.

    Daniel Bryan

Plus a Tiger Suplex. edit: that spot was always kind of a sign that maybe Bryan had more input than an usual Hunter opponent.

Yup, saw the list on cagematch and couldn't remember which ones were the most fun to watch...which I guess is kinda telling because i do remember all those matches I listed.

There are a couple of rematches with Kofi from some house shows that are pretty good. They are on youtube. If we talking about TV, I'd say these are worth checking out. In bold are the "top tier" ones, imo. vs Buddy Murphy - Smackdown 20.08.2019 vs Adam Cole - Smackdown 1.11.2019 vs The Fiend - Rotal Rumble 2020 (this one feels more impressive when you know how abysmal The Fiend was in the ring) vs Drew Gulak - Elimination Chamber 2020 vs Drew Gulak - Smackdown 11.05.2020 vs AJ Styles - Smackdown 26.05.2020 w/ Roman Reigns vs Bludgeon Brothers - Hell In a Cell 2020 vs Jey Uso - Smackdwon 20.11.2020 Gauntlet match - Smackdown 08.01.2021 vs Cesaro - 15.01.2021 vs Jey Uso - Smackdown 05.03.2021 vs Roman Reigns - Fastlane 2021
  10. That's always been my hurdle for getting into lucha. I'm south american and listening to the announcers is so off putting is legit hard for me to get into what's going on in the ring. They normally sound fake as fuck and a lot of them are worse than Michael Cole focusing on the most stupid stuff instead of helping tell the story or letting the ring action breathe and be the main thing. It's puzzling too because mexican announcers are incredible when it comes to sports in general, but somehow with wrestling it's a whole different thing. Where's the podcast btw?
  11. Shit, not y'all making me want to watch a Ciampa match. That damn WALTER and his awesomeness.
  12. I'm more curious on were the hell I'm gonna rate Hashimoto. Last time I put him 9 and he may not even crack top 25 this time around. And I fucking love Hash.
  13. Oh, no doubt. We only had 5 years worth of Yuji last time. Now we gonna have like 12 (not counting the injury years, of course). He's a lock in my new list unless my tastes change completely by 2026.
  14. I totally fell into the current worker (negative) bias for the 2016 project. I'm curious if that's still gonna be the case. There's gonna be 10 more years of footage for a lot of people that I was on the fence on. Last time I think I put AJ, Bryan, Cena, Tanahashi and Sekimoto, can't even remember if a rated Okada. Ishii has a great case to be top 50 at least in my book. He's one of my biggest regrets from my GWE top 100. He honestly could've been there just on the strength of his Wataru Inoue feud in 2009 but for some reason I just didn't put him there. And at this point his case is even stronger with too much incredible shit with too many different people not be there again.
  15. Zidane did pretty well with Benzema and CRonaldo
  16. Florentino gotta stop fucking around and throw the bag at Haaland.
  17. If the EVIL push didn't convince people about that, then nothing will.
  18. I knew this was bound to happen but I did not think it was gonna happen now.
  19. Man, if both nights are no longer than 3 hours each I'll gladly take those matches being on SD.
  20. I believe Korakuen has been working with 400 or 500 people maximum capacity for most of the pandemic.
  21. On a time were New Japan can't get foreigners? Let's not forget they had programs with Zero One and NOAH - at a time those two companies were already struggling like a motherfucker- while NJ was clearly on the rise (and by far the n°1 promotion in the country) and got good houses. And in the case of the NOAH feud, it was the perfect showcase for baby Okada. And yeah, I do believe booking a guy like Kento Miyahara, Suwama and Shuji Ishikawa would do good business for New Japan. They are certainly more meaningful than 3/4 of other gaijin they book. We also know NJ always comes out on top big in those programs so I don't see the downside for them. I also have a hard time believing any promotion in Japan would turn down a NJPW proposal given as how much more exposure they could get. Lastly, they can even just book them for smaller programs just to boost their midcard and give younger/promising talent interesting shit to do and learn other workers. For example, guys from Big Japan are perfect to the NEVER title scene/status. Shit, the one time they booked Sekimoto he gave Shota Umino the best match of his career (at that point) and made him look awesome. It's a moot point anyways as it's not going to happen. I just cannot be convinced it's not a good idea to do it, lol.
  22. I've been asking for interpromotional feuds within Japan for years now and not even a pandemic made New Japan act on it. It's really weird how they didn't even try to do it, I guess they didn't want to risk their talent catching COVID from another roster.
  23. To be fair I think all of us think Vince took over our Covid crisis management Chile got an incredible vaccination process going on (well, we've historically had an awesome vaccination program) but we got record numbers because of how bad shit has been managed.
  24. Look, you all know I've been down on Gedo's booking for years but I have a hard time attributing (does that word exist? sorry, having a brain fart with my english) current struggles to his same ol' same ol' formula when every building has a smaller capacity, there's been issues with booking talent and there's a pandemic still fucking things up.
