I think this angle has accidentally stumbled into some twisted brilliance. Bryan's chase isn't the title anymore, it's the idea that HHH really wants to bury him. Maybe they do, I have no idea. But they'll build this match with that Rock-Cena meta-vibe and I think it's going to be genuinely compelling to see whether or not Bryan actually wins, and how. I think having the title involved at this point would take away some of the drama of Bryan conquering, because it would be an obvious feel-good ending. This is more mysterious, and interesting, to me from both a storyline standpoint and "real". Also they got 20,000 to chant for the match after Bryan came out and said that's the match he wanted, so, they got a good visual and momentum for it.

Triple H should cut a promo saying that if more Daniel Bryan fans bought the network or his t-shirts, they might consider him an A-.

Maybe everyone else saw this coming, but Malenko under the Ciclope mask winning the cruiserweight battle royal was pretty cool.

Is The Torch VIP sub worth the price? I like reading the old Observers over at F4W and wish they'd move faster, so the archive at the Torch definitely appeals, but is the info good? I haven't really read much Keller but what I've read over the past couple years I didn't really like. Has he changed a lot over the years or will it be similar?

Hi folks. I'm 29 and have been a wrestling fan since ... forever? I guess? One of the first clear memories I have growing up is buying the WWF Magazine with WrestleMania VII results in it. And I remember my dad bringing home a VHS of SummerSlam '91 that his buddy at work taped. I watched it about 3000 times in the next couple years. I've been watching WWE, specifically, more or less continuously since then with just a few breaks. Over the years I've always been interested in other areas and styles but mostly just read about them through (at first) PWI and later watching what I could find online. It hasn't been until the past couple years I started going back and watching a lot of the "canon" of AJPW and lucha and other areas, so I'm still a neophyte when it comes to that stuff. I stumbled upon this place a while ago but never posted anything, but I've been reading it a lot lately as I go back and watch and since there's so much valuable insight and commentary here I wanted to at least introduce myself instead of being the creeper in the corner just listening to everyone talk. I don't have a ton to add to the discussion since everyone seems to be much smarter than I when it comes to wrestling but I look forward to jumping in occasionally. Anyway ... carry on with your lives again.
