I still don't think they ever actually did one. Closest I can recall is WM 14, which was rumored to have a barbwire match between the New Age Outlaws and Mankind/Terry Funk. However, plans got changed due to PPV providers not being keen on the idea IIRC.

Pretty darn underated as a singles performer in the 1980s. I think the WWF had big plans for him as the Widow Maker, but then he left suddenly when I think his brother and father got arrested. By the time he got back to WWF he was pretty well past his prime. Still, he's a HOFer and deservedly so.

I kind of dug them. They were more down to earth than a lot of stuff back then. Kind of makes me think of the stuff UFC does for videos now.

One for displeasure. Not the complete package as I think he's a great in-ring worker, but Daniel Bryan's mic skills leave a lot to be desired for me.

I was actually digging his most recent heel run that started last SummerSlam, but then it turned into the same old Orton bullcrap. That unification match at TLC last year was so underwhelming it was ridiculous.

Vader murdering Inoki is always fun and as has been pointed out incredibly infamous. It's like if John Cena got pinned clean at a major PPV in under five minutes, but then magnify that by a ton.

Chhex has to be considered high. At least the thong riding up his tookus was.

Hoss used to be a big one for me, but now I find myself using it. If you follow wrestling long enough I think a lot of the hate you have for industry/smark lingo just dies away over time.

I got to go to beyond Wrestling's Americanrana some weeks back. It was a great show and featured some fairly big name indie talent like Colt Cabana, Kevin Steen and MASADA. I hope I can make the trip down to Rhode Island again in a few weeks when they come back. Before that I went to a Big Time Wrestling show in Massachusetts. It's your typical indie that books some fairly big name wrestlers, but doesn't really get talked about much beyond the state. At the show I went to they had Matt Hardy, Bobby Lashly, Jim Duggan and Hillbilly Jim. How about you?

I'd say a couple hundred sounds about right, but it depends on the venue to. For instance, I know some indies run in bars and have smaller crowds, but can still be profitable because of how much bars sell for drinks and stuff like that.

Not a full-on invasion or anything mind you, but just a standalone joint show between the two. Say Vince and Dixie got bored or saw that it was in their best interest to have a one time joint show. What would be the storyline going in and what matches would there be. All I know is that I'd love to see CM Punk/Samoa Joe revisit their ROH rivalry

Anyone ever hear of this Massachusetts based indie? I was thinking of checking out there show on Friday. Hacksaw Jim Duggan is supposed to be there so it should be fun

They both have their benefit, but when you have three hours with nothing really important to do and a wrestling show you really want to see, hardly anything compares IMHO.
