You're asking the wrong guy. I loved NWA Powerrr in the early days, but it was the biggest victim of the pandemic, and I haven't watched it in years. Regardless, my point stands. Wrestling is something that will attract weekly viewers. The Roku Channel doesn't have anything else like that right now.

Cheap, easy, reliable programming with viewers that will come back week after week - something Roku doesn't have in any form or fashion right now.

I assume he bought whatever Bruce Tharpe owned and posted to the NWA On Demand service or whatever it was called. But I doubt Roku is interested in uploading any of that.

I can at least understand the Monroe part, since that's a throwback '50s reference to Marilyn Monroe and callback to her association with "Timeless" Toni Storm. But Blake? I guess that's supposed to reference Blake Lively? Otherwise, I got nothing. They should call her "The Modern Throwback." Update: She picked Blake because of her niece. Can we revisit this? The incredibly irritating and unfixed for years board glitches are beyond tiresome. I'm surprised anyone believed Meltzer's speculation masquerading as news on that. Worlds Collide bleeding into the Money in the Bank pre-show told me WWE was not concerned that MitB would bleed into UFC.

Men's MitB was a ton of fun. Even though I knew Seth was winning, the match made me doubt the outcome enough times. Jacob Fatu finally destroying Solo was also a blast. I hope the "main event" is 15 minutes or less instead of a forced "epic." Cena is cooked, Paul is inexperienced, Cody and Jey are meat and potatoes.

Good call. But you'd think she would've been in TNA years ago, which probably means there was never any interest in her there either, for whatever reason.

Yikes... I usually don't ever think about what my star ratings would be, but I can safely say they wouldn't be nearly that high. It was a fun show - I enjoyed it - but come on!

TK is the master of heel turns no one asked for or wants - Danielson, Hangman, etc. But I also hope not. In before someone says "but they wanted to turn heel." I don't give a flying fuck what they want. Yes, listening to talent and keeping them happy is important, but there's a fine line.

I enjoyed her on the show, but was "trailer trash crackhead" ever a gimmick either WWE or AEW were going to give a second look to? I know there were WWE rumors at one point (I think? Maybe it was AEW?) but that obviously never went anywhere. I kind of wish Cash Flo had gotten a break, even though he's not exactly young.

I love the name Damien Priest, but come on, Punishment Martinez is fucking BADASS too.
