Sorry for the repeat posts, gang. 1. We really need some mod presence here. 2. We really need this annoying apostrophe glitch to be fixed. 3. Hopefully someone will see and erase the other threads quickly. Same timeslot as NXT "The deal will see matches airing on The Roku Channel in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, starting on July 29. The move will see NWA matches streaming for free every Tuesday at 8pm ET." https://deadline.com/2025/06/billy-corgan-national-wrestling-alliance-roku-1236426337/

WHAT THE FUCK
-
I'm surprised anyone believed Meltzer's speculation masquerading as news on that. Worlds Collide bleeding into the Money in the Bank pre-show told me WWE was not concerned that MitB would bleed into UFC.
-
Men's MitB was a ton of fun. Even though I knew Seth was winning, the match made me doubt the outcome enough times. Jacob Fatu finally destroying Solo was also a blast. I hope the "main event" is 15 minutes or less instead of a forced "epic." Cena is cooked, Paul is inexperienced, Cody and Jey are meat and potatoes.
-
Good call. But you'd think she would've been in TNA years ago, which probably means there was never any interest in her there either, for whatever reason.
-
Yikes... I usually don't ever think about what my star ratings would be, but I can safely say they wouldn't be nearly that high. It was a fun show - I enjoyed it - but come on!
-
Even when Konnan is being completely sincere, it sounds like he's spouting BS. Is it just me?
-
Super fun trios opener. Mr. Iguana's character and presentation seems tailor made for WWE. And WWE obviously sees something in Octagon Jr. since he was added to Money in the Bank against Dom for the IC Title in a surprise announcement. Didn't have that on my bingo card!
-
May as well have one thread for both since they're on the same day. Hopefully Sly and Taylor don't have a falling out before the final season. This does sound like a show I'd enjoy, but so many shows, so little time. 20 episodes (so far) does seem doable though.
-
Wow, I had no idea. That's definitely a much bigger deal than whatever spot he would get in WWE or AEW even under the best of circumstances. Is he credited on Tulsa King as Cash Flo?
-
TK is the master of heel turns no one asked for or wants - Danielson, Hangman, etc. But I also hope not. In before someone says "but they wanted to turn heel." I don't give a flying fuck what they want. Yes, listening to talent and keeping them happy is important, but there's a fine line.
-
I enjoyed her on the show, but was "trailer trash crackhead" ever a gimmick either WWE or AEW were going to give a second look to? I know there were WWE rumors at one point (I think? Maybe it was AEW?) but that obviously never went anywhere. I kind of wish Cash Flo had gotten a break, even though he's not exactly young.
-
I love the name Damien Priest, but come on, Punishment Martinez is fucking BADASS too.
-
Juniper June and Daisy December are leading candidates - Meltzer (Not really Meltzer)
-
Which is why AEW should take R-Truth. He's a better worker and talker than 90% of their roster.
-
Sarah Logan/Valhalla not being renewed either, but that's less surprising, since I think most of us assumed she was let go several release cycles ago.
-
I mean, Apollo Crews is crazy talented, Ricochet is crazy talented, etc. The kid's 120 pounds, so no matter how good he is, there's probably a ceiling there - even under Triple H. Exactly. Maybe he'll main event WrestleMania - I doubt it - but burning a bridge regardless, especially for no reason, just isn't smart. The reality is that Evans is probably not someone who is going to ever become enough of an attraction to overcome that no matter what.
-
I bet Je'Brone Evans is regretting that dumbass "crackhead" tweet. He's not exactly off to a great start and feels like an upcoming future-endeavor already. But you're right, if this isn't actually a call-up, it probably doesn't matter as much.

Someone found a clip from the first SNME with Jesse saying Boss Man should've walked through the cage door. Update: It's this awful troll account, but you can see the clip. https://x.com/MeltzerSaidWhat/status/1926461201984135290

On the one hand, it feels like a sloppy WCW move. On the other hand, who gives a fuck about Alberto Del Rapist? His loss is a foregone conclusion anyway. I just hope he doesn't no-show the match. Not like he'd have anything to lose. Other rape apologist carny promoters will book him in a second, and there are tons of those in wrestling.
