I don't think this is a good point though. I think it's an extraordinarily lazy one by an author so transparently trying to score "woke" points that I find it impossible to take him seriously. If Bryan, New Day, etc. don't work for WWE, where would they work? AEW, where Shad Khan pumped millions into the Trump campaign and they openly wish an accused rapist "all the best." ROH, owned by the insidious and odious Republican propaganda machine Sinclair Broadcasting. Impact, where people at the top of the food chain are alleged to be part of the problem, never mind some of the top wrestlers. New Japan, which is probably still tied to the Yakuza and God knows what else that we don't know about because they operate in another country. Etc., etc., etc. It's really easy for someone to say "don't work for WWE" or "don't work in the wrestling industry," but that's their dream and in many cases their only real talent. The better and less lazy approach is for the good guys to stay in wrestling and help clean it up from the inside, which is hopefully what this movement will do. I'm skeptical - as we all should be - that any real change will ever happen, but this is at least a promising start.

Nah, it came out nine hours ago and AEW's tweet was two hours ago. Sending him to rehab is not the issue - that's probably a smart, sound decision - but wishing an accused rapist "all the best" is seriously tone deaf and exposes what a "young" company AEW still is.

But AEW "wishes Jimmy Havoc all the best." As bad as WWE is with its selective releases, that's real amateur hour on AEW's part.

Lagana was the "hired help" - a stupid and goofy weirdo at best and something much darker at worst. His departure will be a massive inconvenience for the NWA, no doubt, but it won't be a fed-killer unless Corgan is ready to throw in the towel. Otherwise, Lagana can and will be replaced. Someone must have just adjusted it between your post and mine, because it was already changed by the time I came in to post.

Lightning Kid vs. Jerry Lynn has already been mentioned, and is of course essential.

You must have missed the tweetstorm from wrestlers going on the record about Tessa's n-bomb usage a few months ago. No shock there, as nothing about Impact is considered relevant and newsworthy. Like I said, Impact may have good wrestlers, may be a fun show, but it absolutely does not matter and does not influence anything in the grand scheme of things. Not anymore, anyway. That ship finally burned to the ground for the final time when Matt Hardy and Billy Corbin were driven out of the company. What did Charlotte say? Whatever it is, it will come back to bite WWE in the ass hard when a Dana Brooke type finally gets tired of being "held back" and blames protected wrestlers like "The Queen" for her plight.

This is the definition of "the wrestling bubble" - where everything is wrestling. Anyone who uses phrases like "big work" to describe a real-life event really should recoil in extreme embarrassment. It shows such a profound lack of intellect, common sense, and maturity. A lot of wrestlers have really never had to grow up.

Impact isn't relevant. Not at all. May be a good product. May be fun to watch. All of that is well and good, but nothing it does matters and nothing it does affects or influences the wrestling business at large. Those days are gone, probably forever. The fact that the openly racist Tessa Blanchard is champion, and absolutely no one cares - in this climate! - tells you all you need to know about Impact's *ahem* impact. More than half of this thread has nothing to do with his podcast whatsoever though. I've never even listened to it, and I likely never will.
