This show needs Mauro, but it's great otherwise.
-
Is it just me or does Sammy look young as fuck? I guess I've gotten too used to the weathered WWE guys who spent 10 years in developmental. Even the NXT TV guys are older.
-
Am I the only one who doesn't mind Swagger? He's not great or anything, and a questionable signing, but I'd be curious to see how he's (re)packaged.
-
I agree. If I had to wager a guess, this is probably what happened. It sounds very logical to me. Agreed. That's the only reason I speculated Enzo/Cass. But even if it was never them, LAX doesn't feel like the original plan - or, as @FMKK suggested, they were the plan but Mox's injury threw everything out of whack and "forced" an earlier debut for them (which I still think was avoidable). Either way, I'm not sure what's so controversial about LAX. We all support AEW and want tonight to be amazing, but there's no need for you to go into fawning mode and bend over backward to make flimsy excuses like this. This is possible too. As for the Rumble, I don't remember which year that was, but maybe Jericho was supposed to win it and plans changed? Was that the year Sheamus inexplicably won it when everyone was expecting Jericho to?
-
Which is fine, until they ceased being mysteries after debuting at All Out, and yet Jericho waited until the day before the show to confirm that they’re his partners. May not have been Enzo and Cass, but it sure feels like something fell through at the last second. Plus, didn’t Jericho say his partners would be controversial? Nothing controversial about this. *Shrug*
-
So, Jericho revealed ahead of time that his "mystery" partners are who already appeared at All Out. This really feels like a last-minute backup plan because they couldn't get Enzo, Cass, or whoever they really had in mind. If not, why have appear at All Out in the first place and why have Jericho wait until the day before to reveal his partners instead of doing it a month ago when they showed up?

You know better... They'll get ten minutes, and probably on the pre-show. Exactly how I feel. -

Bobby Lashley is someone I could've gone without ever seeing again. He's shit. This cuck angle with Lana is shit. Please at least tell me Lashley is the heel in this scenario. (And don't @ at me to tell me what he did in TNA. I don't care. He's been a waste of time and space since returning to WWE.) -

Why is Cesaro wrestling in Walmart pants now? If they're not gonna push him, I wish they'd just release him (unless he doesn't care and is just happy to be there and collect a paycheck). -

Pointless filler matches like this kill Raw every fucking week. I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE VIKING RAIDERS VS. THE ONLY, THE ORIGINAL, THE OFFICIAL NOBODY GIVES A FUCK CLUB THAT DOESN'T, NEVER HAS, AND NEVER WILL MATTER! Also, major at Rusev having "problems at home." -

How is it "allegedly" when he was caught on tape and her dumb ass posted it all over social media? -

So, I assume Seth vs. Rey is off the table? More bullshit bait-and-switch by WWE. The new era is the old era. This deranged dinosaur of a company will never learn. We need to all pray AEW comes out swinging. -

If I didn't know there was a new set, I'd barely notice. Was hoping for more of a refresh than this. Ten seconds in, and the show still looks as stale as ever. As for C.M. Punk, he's a whore. They all are. Did you really expect more from a guy who sold his best friend down the river? -
Molly Holly was the best WWE woman of her era, and it’s not even close, but of course she never got quarter of the credit the wildly overrated Trish did. Always annoyed me.
-
My impression of the Charlotta/Sasha HIAC match at the time: fun match, but not even the best match they've had against each other or others, and absolutely the wrong finish that killed the crowd dead and diminished the overall match.

Looks like Taven is staying with ROH. Apparently, Meltzer said he's making double what the highest paid wrestler in NXT is making, with the potential for it to become triple. Obviously a good financial move, but is it a good career move? I have to imagine Taven has peaked in ROH, and while it doesn't sound like he'd be anywhere near the same level in NXT/WWE, I'm not sure what's left for him in ROH.
-
Was it me? I hope not. I do think you could have made a case for her back then as the best female wrestler in North America though, or at least one of.

Smackdown got pulled from regular Hulu. Now it's only available with a $40 (?) Hulu Live subscription.

Only 49. According to this, he had a lot of cool gimmicks and a robust life after wrestling. http://www.onlineworldofwrestling.com/bios/r/richard-bognar/

Nah. PWO isn't Twitter. I've disagreed with everyone here about Mauro, Asuka, etc. and have only gotten mild annoyance and vague dislike from others, so I think it'll be fine. Go for it IMO!

If you watch Smackdown on Hulu, it's been pulled. The only way to watch it on Hulu now is if you have the $40 (?) Hulu Live service.
