They were overselling the hell out of it last night. Is it horrible to admit that I'm enjoying seeing them make the most of awful booking and make themselves look better in the process? Usos look awful through all of this (and I feel for them too, because this is a no-win situation all around). I hope Dash and Dawson come out and blind them with ass cream tonight.

Watching the last few minutes of SVU before Smackdown starts, and man, I forgot what a depressing, fucked up show this is. WWE would kill to have this level of writing and character quality though. I haven't watched SVU in years, only caught the tail-end, and I already care more about everyone and everything on this show than years of bad WWE programming.

Yes, it was amazing for completely the wrong reasons. But as a viewer, I knew something was up because it felt so much more memorable and hard-hitting than most APA matches (or matches in general). As it turns out, that's because APA was really potatoing the hell out of Public Enemy. Want to hear something even more fucked up? When The Dudleys came in, their first matches were with APA. Of course, APA had to "test" the new ECW guys to make sure they weren't Public Enemy 2.0. They beat the hell out of The Dudleys every night. Bubba Ray and D-Von's response: "Thank you very much." "Respect" in the wrestling business is such a weird and fucked up thing. What was Uncle Brucie's explanation for the Public Enemy match? And yeah, we already know Bradshaw isn't as tough as he thinks. The Brawl for All was proof of that. So was the alleged Joey Styles incident (if it actually happened).

Has there ever been a more unselfish top guy than Bryan? He takes a clean loss in a RAW rematch and isn't even on the PPV (as of yet).

Wouldn't surprise me if Bryan switches to RAW by the end of the night... ...naaaah! I'm giving WWE too much credit. Edit: Elias was also on the show tonight, and he's a Smackdown guy, so the "rule" is already out the window.

Give The Revival credit though for doing this red icy hot garbage with gusto. You can't say they aren't team players. They're embracing this shit 110%.

This match is still going on? For all the bad RAW matches in the Attitude Era, at least none of them lasted long and the show moved at a quick pace. Plus, everyone was over. A far cry from today. Even massive flops like Beaver Cleavage had more heat than most of the current roster.

You can say that about so many people in this company, unfortunately.

When Greg Hamilton is the best part of Corbin's act, and even that is a retread of Shane McMahon's shtick, it ain't good. Adding Lashley to the equation doesn't help. He's an instant bathroom break.

Let's hope it's the Universal Title.

Well, there was a pretty amazing APA-Public Enemy match on, I think, Sunday Night Heat. It wasn't amazing for the traditional reasons though.

Right, but Jules very specifically noted that Chris was having bad dreams about Indians chasing him.

What an insidious diseased company. Saw this posted in the comments section of CagesideSeats.com, and it's on point.

Can't believe I'm indulging in this nonsense, but how did Jules even know about Chris's bad dreams? It's possible the Native superstition is rooted in actual lore, assuming Jules was a "method" wrestler and studied Native customs. (Yeah right!)
