Is "cockroach" some kind of slur I'm not aware of?
-
For as shitty as this show has been, one thing I'll say for it is that the pacing has been fantastic. I can't believe it's time for the main event already.
-
Right person won! It's time do something else - anything else - with Charlotte.
-
This is how Naomi-Jade should have begun - an intense brawl.
-
I don't have that option on Peacock /s
-
How did you turn off the announcing?
-
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaax Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu Priiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
-
Not just you. I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if it's an issue with the acoustics of the venue.

LOL. This might be an overreach though. New Day had nowhere else to go as babyfaces. Their act was stale. This is the most interesting they've been in ages. War Raiders are fun in the ring, but no one gives a fuck about them as an act.
-
New Day vs. War Raiders is already better than the opener, and we're only a minute in.
-
It's not negative if it's truthful. Such as:
-
GUNTHER tapping out to that weak bullshit so quickly made no sense. Awful match.
-
The opener is a bore with glacial pacing and zero chemistry thus far.

Isn't the "Empire Crumbling" thread meant to chronicle exactly this kind of shitty behavior? I personally don't see the need for yet another thread. It's not like this is in the WWE TV Megathread. I'd see the point if this kind of talk took place in that thread when people just want to talk about Raw or whatever.

Fair enough! The weird "the gay community!" quote is real though. According to Reddit, she and her boyfriend laughed at someone with disabilities. I honestly have no idea what happened, if anything did.
-
Speaking of Orton: I thought it was Orton who trolled AJ about this? Maybe it was both? How do you know he didn't actually say it though? You don't. Of course, I don't know that that he actually did say it, either.

I don't think Punk is necessarily implying anything about Heyman (or Roxanne Perez, for that matter). I get the impression that he's just listing examples of his buddies in the company and explaining that he never discusses politics with them - which, you know, sounds pretty normal to me in a work environment. As for Styles, if he's spoken publicly about the flat-earth stuff and "the gay community," that's on him. Heyman and Perez don't openly babble unintelligent gibberish.

Translation: John Cena: "I love a serial rapist sex trafficker with a fecal fetish, and I love him wholeheartedly." Fantastic Reddit post about WWE's PR this week: And none of it - not a single fucking thing - will affect WWE's business, because rasslin' fans are dumb and rasslers are even dumber. Sure, as soon as Triple H, Roman Reigns, etc. do the same thing. You may want to bury your head in the sand - that's your prerogative, and it's what most voters do too - but it's kind of hard to ignore when it's coming from major players in WWE's power structure.

Let me get this straight: AEW runs a first-time "dream match" between Mercedes and Athena, puts it in an inconsequential semi-final tournament slot, and kills Athena's undefeated streak in the process. What the hell.

Not that I want to defend Nick Khan, but didn't Tony Khan fire the first shot when he called Nick Khan a "Khan (con) man" for no reason whatsoever other than to appeal to the "sickos"? Both sides are infantile here.

Surprised there's been no mention of Triple H putting his foot in his mouth - again! - with these insanely dumb comments about Trump: “Nick Khan [WWE president]... always has this thing about, ‘The most charismatic guy wins, it doesn’t matter. Doesn’t matter your policy, whoever the most charismatic guy is in the debates wins.’ And you can historically look at that — pretty accurate, right? And I think Trump’s ability as an orator, as — like him or hate him, the way he does it… but he’s charismatic in so many ways. And I think he likes getting under people’s skin, generating [heat]. Schulz then chimes in to say that Trump “plays a great heel”. Levesque continued: “He does. It’s amazing and it’s genius, and it worked in our business. “Do I think he got that from our business? I think he innately understands it. It’s been his whole life. Think about that. There’s a lot of billionaires in the world, I suppose, why is he the most famous one? Why was he the one that was in People magazine every week with everybody under the sun? Why was he seen as the epitome of that billionaire status and all that stuff? It’s because of his charisma, and his character, and who he is, and the way he can speak about it and do all those things. “He just captivates people and I think that’s why he is where he is.” https://www.cagesideseats.com/wwe/2025/4/14/24408367/triple-h-dismisses-internet-bitching-complaining-wwe-admires-donald-trump-interview-andrew-schulz Yeah, Paul, makes perfect sense for the President of the fucking United States to be a "great heel."

I'm guessing I'm the only one, but is anyone else watching WWE EVOLVE? It's on Tubi (U.S.) or YouTube (internationally). Fun little sprint of a show at only 50 minutes or so. Reminds me of a modern day version of Superstars or Wrestling Challenge. There are a lot of cool little things no other WWE show is doing. Peter Rosenberg and Robert Stone are a surprisingly fun commentary team. Mauro would make it even better, but that goes without saying.

Your attempted Christian erasure won't be tolerated here, sir. I'll never understand what people see in Malakai/Aleister Black. Okay, I do understand - I see the same thing - but something is missing. Kind of the way I felt about Bam Bam Bigelow too, but Bam Bam was a hundred times the worker and attraction Black is. Corrected* for you. *not that you're wrong about Lashley either. When PWO was going nuts for him years ago, booking dream matches between him and Brock Lesnar, I was genuinely baffled why everyone here had their hands down their pants for this guy.
