I think it was just a market type thing. Typically you wouldn't see Houston stuff in New York outside of a long distance phone call... but I definitely see the issue at hand. Made the change for tonight's show in LA as there could be national press on the event.

WWF Superstars Vince McMahon & Jesse the Body Ventura Matches from Allentown, PA – Agricultural Hall Vince McMahon: Welcome everyone to WWF Superstars! I am Vince McMahon alongside Jesse the Body Ventura! Jesse, we have got a great lineup for Superstars but I have a feeling you are going to be very interested in our main event! Jesse: That’s right McMahon… he may not act the way I think he should, but one of my favorites is here tonight… Randy Macho Man Savage! Vince: That’s right, plus we have action from the tag team of Tony Atlas and Rocky Johnson along with The Barbarian! Jesse: The Barbarian is a man alone… and he may just be more dangerous than ever… Vince: You have got that right Jesse… right now it is time to head to the ring for our opening contest… let’s see the All-American from Syracuse… Mike Rotundo! Mike Rotundo defeated Omar Atlas -A nice singles showcase for Rotundo who is on his own now. Vince and Jesse talk about how Williams was hurt at the hands of Orton and Slater and how Rotundo is looking to avenge his fallen partner. Inside the ring tonight, we see Rotundo hit a nice middle rope clothesline for the 1…2….3! He gets a nice pop from the crowd as he looks to set out on this singles journey in the WWF. *COMMERCIAL* -Superstars is back with Jesse and Vince putting over Rotundo’s chances as a singles star and say he may be on the look out for a new tag team partner down the line. Jesse talks about the Barbarian needing a handler as a man by himself, he is going to be unpredictable and destructive to all in his path! They put over Sgt. Slaughter taking out Lord Alfred last week and ending his career. They put over Barb and talk about what he could do in the ring as we cut to him in action… The Barbarian defeated Mr. Wrestling II -Speaking of big changes, here is the Barbarian all by himself and he is a monster. He tears Mr. Wrestling II apart here and shows just how dangerous of a man he can be. We see him hoist up Wrestling II on his back and then come down with a nasty shoulder breaker for the 1...2…3!! Who is going to be able to control this guy? *COMMERCIAL* -We are back with Vince and Jesse putting over the team of Tony Atlas and Rocky Johnson. They talk about this history together and their feud with the Heenan Family. Tony Atlas & Rocky Johnson defeated The Invaders -Atlas and Johnson are back together here and they seem to be working well enough. We see them handle the Invaders with little to no problem as Vince and Jesse put over how they will be a tough matchup for Big John Studd and King Kong Bundy tonight in Los Angeles. He is going off at the mouth about everything and talks about Hulk Hogan’s appearance on wrestling challenge… Roddy Piper: Yeah, you know I heard Hogan is going to be on Wrestling Challenge next week… guys a comedian you know… always telling jokes… like him being a World Champion. Lemme tell you something Hukster… you haven’t been champion till you put the Rowdy One down and no one can do that pal. You wanna talk Masked Superstar… that guys gonna rip you apart bud and then I am gonna come get whatever is left! Now I am out here to talk about the SUPERFLY… no not Rick James… I am talking Jimmy Snuka. This Savage… nothing more than a shade away from a monkey comes out here… WHOO WHOO WHOO…. You gotta be kidding me man. This guys calls himself a wrestler… guys belongs in a cage and brother that’s exactly where I am going to put him. I have a special guest this week… he is a little step above Snuka… he can actually say a couple of things… let’s bring him out… -Piper then welcomes out The Tonga Kid who makes his WWF debut. The crowd gives him some love before Piper just goes on a tirade and rips him apart. Tonga doesn’t take too kindly to it before challenge Piper who just cold cocks him in the eye! Tonga goes down before Piper reaches under the table and he grabs a banana! He opens it up and shoves it right in Tonga’s face! He starts to lay the boots to him before officials come out and Piper starts winging at them! Piper throws the microphone down as the crowd is letting him have it! *COMMERCIAL* -Jesse and Vince are back with McMahon apologizing continually for Piper’s actions while Ventura says it was what was needed. Much like Ventura… Piper is one of the few men who speaks the truth and the truth should be heard! McMahon is appalled at all of this as we cut to the ring for our main event! MAIN EVENT Randy Savage w/ Elizabeth vs Hector Guerrero -A nice little main event with the Macho Man showing off some skills. The main issue during this contest is when Gino Hernandez walks down to the ring with the IC title and tries to talk to Elizabeth! Jesse and Vince are going nuts over this as Hernandez puts his hands on Elizabeth and here comes Savage! Officials and agents come down to break this one up as Savage is irate! Hernandez backs off and smiles up the aisle way as Savage looks HOT! He gets back in the ring and gives Hector a little time to shine before coming back and nailing the flying elbow for the 1….2….3! Savage holds Elizabeth and looks back to Hernandez… what in the world is going to happen with these guys?

WWF drops Ivan Putski and adds Mark Youngblood from the USWA

I have added in the extra names up to this point... It looks like there are 44 names to be drafted at this point... I say with 7 of us... we go for 5 rounds... then unload the rest into free agency. The thing to remember is that we will get a plus 1 in October and then a plus 1 in January... so you will only have "1" free spot for a new signee but I am sure we could give rid of some of the extra talent who may be retired or what have you by this point.

He goes on to give Savage his due and talks about how he is a challenger but Piper got the best of him like he always does. He goes on to talk about the challengers in the WWF for the World Title and says Hulk Hogan is running scared. He says he has got a list of guys from top to bottom who have put out a challenge to Hogan only for him to refuse. He says that Hogan puts his friends… his buddies in line instead… he says that one of those guys is his guest tonight… Superfly Jimmy Snuka! -A very raunchy interview for Piper who talks slow to Snuka and says that he can barely understand him. He talks about how he is an errand boy for Hogan and should stand up and be his own man. Snuka starts to get testy and stands up but Piper calms him down. He apologizes for the interview but then starts digging at him again. Snuka grabs him and puts over how they may have some history but he isn’t afraid to take it back in the ring. Piper backs up enough for Snuka to walk off the set and then Piper goes off on him and talks about how Snuka is nothing but a patsy… he isn’t even a man, he’s Savage! Ted Dibiase defeated Barry Horowitz -A simple showcase for Dibiase who looks to be primed for bigger and better things. He handles Barry like he’s a sack of potatoes and then he is able to finish him off with a nice piledriver and then a figure-four leglock that causes Horowitz to tap out. Dibiase celebrates and says that the title is coming back to him before too long! *COMMERCIAL* -Jesse and Vince are back putting over the tag team title situation. They talk about the Briscoes getting a chance to take on the champions next week in Houston. Heenan is out there calling the shots as Bundy and Duggan engage in a fun 9-minute contest with both men getting some offense but near the end we see Duggan get the advantage before going for the big 3-point stance clothesline. Heenan grabs Duggan’s leg! Duggan turns around and starts screaming at him before Bundy runs and BIG SPLASH IN THE CORNER! WAIT A SECOND HERE COMES HERCULES AND STUDD! They come out and hold Duggan in the corner and here comes Bundy for another SPLASH! OMG! HE DOES IT AGAIN! They pull Duggan off and Studd picks him up for a bearhug and then a SLAM! Studd and Hercules hold him down as Bundy hits the ropes and BIG SPLASH! Duggan is shown spitting up blood! He is in a bad way.
