  2. Okay bear with me here on this transactions... I am going to drop Miss Linda - she may be going straight to Southeastern for the Miss Linda loans, but he will be able to confirm this. I am going to pick up Frenchy Martin as a manager. For the +1 for April, I am going to add a jobber pack I am going to move Barry Horowitz down to a pack and add Ken Raper and Jose Estrada Then with my additional pick, I am going to pick up Kurt Von Hess. I should then have 37 workers and 3 managers.
  3. I'd have to put the Brainbusters at the top of the list. Road Warriors, Powers of Pain... I always like the Twin Towers vs Skyscrapers debate.

  6. Hey Dex, Definitely upset to see you go. You had a great thing going in Detroit and I enjoyed your presentation of your product. I know you and I had a trade on the books to go through at some point this spring with Wrestling II for Koko Ware...hopefully we can get that finalized in the coming two weeks as I already have shows written for Wrestling II up until April 8th. In terms of the roster, we are going to sit on it for a bit and see how things shake out in the coming weeks. I would definitely encourage everyone to reach out to others who are interested in fantasy booking to come in and take over a promotion. I know Grimmas was looking for a project, but I don't know if he would have interest in returning to take over a promotion. Regardless, we will move forward with no issues. Sad to see you go Dez, if things free up, feel free to come back.

  11. Mid South Wrestling is coming to you on its Fox Affiliates throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. Action is coming to you tonight from the Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana. -MSW opens this week with footage from last week and the huge moment of Tully Blanchard winning the North American Championship! We cut to the Lakefront Arena and Jim Ross is about to lead us in until Tully Blanchard and Gino Hernandez are shown walking out to the ring. They both have their titles and work the crowd to the ring. The fans are booing up a storm as Ross and Watts are putting this over. Watts is completely dismayed that these guys hold the titles and wonders who will step up to take the titles from them… Tully Blanchard: We hate to say we told you so… Gino Hernandez: BUT WE TOLD YOU SO! Now we don’t need people to come out here and pat us on the back… -They pat each other’s backs… Tully Blanchard: Because we will do it ourselves! Gino Hernandez: It was against all odds… in one week, we changed the face of Mid South wrestling from the old and the tired to the fresh and fierce! Tully Blanchard: You are looking at the most dynamic duo in the history of professional wrestling. There is not a man alive who can walk into this ring and pin either of us for the 1…2…3! Hell… we retired Wrestling II. He’s gone forever! Dibiase… he packed his bags and he won’t ever be back! Gino Hernandez: What we are saying… is that this is the tops in professional wrestling… and no one… and we mean NO ONE can stand in this ring and take what we have… -The crowd then pops as we hear the music for Bobby Fulton and Tommy Rogers! The crowd is going nuts here! Ross and Watts are putting it over in the biggest way! Tully Blanchard: Just what in the world do you two want… Bobby Fulton: Well we heard there was a party and heck, you’ve got the two best dressed men in professional wrestling right here. Tommy Rogers: We wanted to come out here and join the party. We wanted to come out here and offer up our congratulations. Bobby Fulton: We know it isn’t easy to come out here and win both of those titles in less than a week. We know it isn’t easy to come out here night in and night out… defend titles and stay strong. Tommy Rogers: So we wanted to let you know… that we talked to Bill Watts… we talked to Paul Boesch… they are going to put it on the line if you two are… Bobby Fulton: One match… all the titles on the line. Whoever loses the fall… loses his title and if you pin one of us… we will lose both titles… this Friday night in Houston! -Tully and Gino start to smile…they offer up their hands to agree… Tommy and Bobby shake and it is on for this Friday night but it is on here tonight as Gino and Tully both swing but the Fantastics duck and then come back with a couple of huge rights! They tosses them to the ropes and hit big dropkicks! The Fantastics then start to rip their tuxedos off and Gino and Tully are irate and down to their BVDs! Fulton and Rogers look down at the titles and hold them up… Ross and Watts put it over as we will be back with more action! *COMMERCIAL* -MSW returns with Watts and Ross putting over the action from the previous segment. They talk about the all or nothing match in Houston this week on Friday night. They run through the rules one more time… if Gino loses the fall, he loses the tv title. If Tully loses the fall, he loses the North American title. If either Fulton or Rogers lose the fall, they lose the tag team titles. They talk about everything being on the line for this once in a lifetime kind of match! They put over Murdoch and Adonis who are returning from Japan as they are in action tonight… The Killer Bees vs Adrian Adonis & Dick Murdoch -A fun contest with Adonis and Murdoch making their return to Mid South this week. Ross and Watts put over how they almost cost the tag champions the titles last week in San Antonio. Adonis and Murdoch make good work on the Bees who look good in the ring but not good enough. Adonis and Murdoch finish things off with a nasty spike piledriver for the 1…2…3! Adonis and Murdoch then jump over on the microphone with Jim Ross. -Ross puts over their return from Japan as Adonis and Murdoch say they are the ones who deserve the accolades. They are the ones who deserve the titles. They will do whatever it takes to get the attention of the Fantastics. Ross and Watts put it over as we will see Mike Rotundo in action when we return! *COMMERCIAL* -MSW returns with Ross and Watts putting over this big feud between the Russians and Williams and Rotundo. They talk about Duggan being right in the middle of it and almost a saving grace for Rotundo and Williams. They put over how we will see Ivan Koloff in the ring next week against Mike Rotundo! Tonight his partner Steve Williams in action… Steve Dr. Death Williams w/ Mike Rotundo & Hacksaw Duggan vs Brady Boone -A pretty good showcase for Williams who doesn’t need the backup, but appreciates it. He hammers down on Boone and nails the Oklahoma Slam making quick work tonight… we cut to Ross and Watts who are joined by the Russians… -Ross attempts to get a promo with the Russians as Ivan and Krusher just call out the Americans. The brawl then breaks out and we see Krusher nail Rotundo with the Russian Chain! Koloff and Williams go to battle but Krusher hits him with the chain as well. Duggan and Koloff then do battle but with the chain, the odds are even and we see Koloff grab Duggan and smash his arm on the ring post…and then again! They pull him in the ring as Krusher whips the chain down on Duggans arm! OMG! He does it two more times before Rotundo and Williams jump in the ring and run then off. Duggan is holding his arm tight. This doesn’t look good! *COMMERCIAL* -MSW returns with Ross and Watts putting over the Duggan issue. They say he has been taken to the local hospital and his arm was in and shape. Watts talk about hearing the bone and the chain. Ross wonders how this will affect his future. They turn their attention to the big $200,000 tag team tournament next week in Houston. They talk about the big Houston card this week and how there could be a lot on the line. They put over the team of Ivan Putski and Don Muraco and put over their opponents in the tournament, Tiger Chung Lee and Prof. Tanaka. Putski and Muraco are in action tonight! Ivan Putski & Don Muraco vs Dominic DeNucci & Johnny Rodz -Simple showcase for Putski and Muraco who are slowly getting over with the crowd. They work over DeNucci and Rodz pretty easily here and we see a big bearhug by Putski and then he slams Rodz down followed by Don Muraco coming with a big elbow drop for the 1…2…3! Muraco and Putski work the crowd as they get hyped by Ross and Watts! -We then cut back to the broadcast booth where Rick Rude, King Kong Bundy, and Jimmy Hart make their way to the table… Jim Ross: Thank you gentlemen for joining us. We want to know about your reaction to the big news regarding your opponents for the first round… Jimmy Hart: What are you talking about Ross? Jim Ross: It just came through… The Windhams had to be pulled from the tournament and in their place will be Mil Mascaras & Jose Lothario! -The Crowd POPS! King Kong Bundy: What are you talking about? Who is running this thing!?! Bill Watts: Listen Bundy, Paul Boesch and I got the word last night and we had to make the decision and Mascaras and Lothario said they would love to be in the tournament and get their hands on you… plus they are looking for a rematch with the Guerreros! Rick Rude: It is just like you Watts. You and Boesch go behind everyone’s back and you make deals and break deals. Let me tell you something pal, it doesn’t matter who we face. You can put Mascaras and Lothario in there and they will go down just like anyone else. Jimmy Hart: That’s right baby. I have got these guys ready. They are going to be PRIMED for a big night baby! King Kong Bundy: Calm down Jimmy… we figured you’d let us know about this change but regardless, we are not only looking to cash in for the $200,000 but we also want to show the world champions that those titles could be ours before too long! Rick Rude: That’s right Guerreros. You two burrito eating bafoons need to look the two of us in the eyes and know you just aren’t man enough. Just like we’re going to do to Wahoo McDaniels and Magnum TA this Friday night in Houston. It is going to be the prelude to war and Wahoo… you aren’t going to cut it Chief! -Watts has had enough as he ends the promo. Ross puts over the two big matches in Houston this week with Wahoo taking on Rude and Magnum taking on Bundy! We’ll be back with Magnum TA in action! *COMMERCIAL* -MSW returns with Bill Watts putting over the big title win by Tully Blanchard last week. He says that he has spoken to Ted Dibiase and announces to the fans that Ted Dibiase will be back here in New Orleans on the 18th of April and he says he will have a big announcement regarding his future with Mid South Wrestling. It is almost a somber note as Ross then turns his attention to Magnum TA who is in action as we head to the ring. Magnum TA vs Scott Casey -A great main event tonight. We even see Mr. Wrestling II come out here and talk about both men and his history. He says that Magnum helped him train for Tully Blanchard but he didn’t help much. He says he holds Casey responsible and will get his revenge this Friday in Houston. He is holding a grudge against Magnum for not asking him to be his partner for the tournament. Inside the ring, we get a nice 9-minute contest with Casey getting some heat but it is Magnum who comes back with guns blazing and out of nowhere it is the BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX for the 1…2….3! Magnum walks over to the announcer table and he is joined by Wahoo but Wrestling II walks off… Jim Ross: Welcome in here gentlemen, we have about 60 seconds remaining, your thoughts on this Friday night in Houston! Magnum: King Kong Bundy… brother your time is coming and I am going to make sure you fall! No one is safe from the belly to belly jack! Wahoo McDaniel: Rick Rude… brother we have done it before and this is going to be the final time, only one of us is walking out of Houston brother and I am going to show everyone why I am the one who is going to put you down! -Ross and Watts put it over in the biggest way. Fans we will see you next week from Fort Worth!
  12. Ricky Steamboat vs Pedro Morales... that would be an interesting one. The Strongbows & Akbar combination is intriguing while the Kamala vs JYD feud is one of the big highlights. Looking forward to the Closed Circuit show you have put together.
  13. No draft... you can only pick people from the free agent thread...
  14. Looking to see if anyone had info on when Percy Pringle (Paul Bearer) and Downton Bruno (Harvey Wippleman) debuted? On wiki, for Pringle "In 1984, he resumed full-time involvement in the wrestling business, using his Pringle character in Championship Wrestling from Florida, World Class Championship Wrestling in Texas, and the United States Wrestling Association (a successor to WCCW)." On wiki, for Bruno, it says he debuted in 1979. Are we good with bringing these guys in on April 1st and adding them to free agency as people we've missed?
  15. We agreed if she didn't get picked she'd go in as a wrestler. I think it's fine you picked her up... I'd say Medusa is in the same boat now and able to be picked up.
  16. Along with the recent trade with Mid south and Stampede - I have to release Frenchy Martin to keep up the 36 +3 rule.
  17. Scott Hall (ASAP) & Lord Humungous (When he completes his dates) will be heading to Stampede for Dino Bravo & The Barbarian along with Frenchy Martin
  18. I didn't know if we were including Sherri as a manager since she was a freelance women's wrestler. She was one of the reasons I was using the women wrestlers for that purpose. I am fine with it as long as the rest of the group is.
  19. I think Buddy is going to turn some serious heads and with that roster, he could jump right in and be the top heel depending on how Perfect uses Jake and the Harts and that big group of Samoans.
  20. That should do work if they pop back in. This also with the +1 fir April and we should be good to go April first. Remember you can pick up a 3 man jobber pack, manager, or regular wrestler with tour +1.
  21. Yee, if Dex wants someone we can work it out. I am guessing he's been pretty busy as of late.
  22. Mid South & USWA Sharing Bill Dundee USWA Ken Timbs & Baby Doll AWA - Heavenly Bodies w/ Jim Cornett & Adrian Street w/ Miss Linda Stampede - Buddy Landell Mid Atlantic - Rock N Roll Express Does this look right?
  23. I could also share Dundee with you Kev, we could work that out between us as it would be beneficial for both of us so you could get baby doll in Dundee I would just need him for a couple of specific dates. Would that work?
  24. So essentially if it worked out, Stampede would get buddy, AWA would get the bodies, Mid-Atlantic would get the rock and roll, and if it still suits everyone Mid-South would pick up Bill Dundee. It would be a three-month loan period starting on April 1st. Does that sound like it would work Boone? We would still have Adrian Street out there if somebody wanted to take him along with baby doll.
  25. I know that Jhawk just said that he was going to be taking a break and Patrick even though I don't want to speak for him does have interest in the rock and roll Express. If we could just figure it out between us I'm sure it would work out to not even worry about it draft unless we want to go down that route and see who gets that top pick.
