Maybe we can create some sort of system that will enact some sort of randomness into the relationships between workers and us, the bookers? Sort of like the injuries, we roll a die, and, depending on the result, someone now dislikes you, or is more loyal to you, and then you either try and move them along or what have you.

My well of 'well, at least that name is familiar' has gone dry. Now it's 'hey, that guy has a cool name, let's google him, oh, he looks pretty cool, that's good enough'.

Looking forward to seeing it unfold. I hope that doesn't come off as me trying to brag that my way is best. It's just pointing out stylistic differences. Clearly some people are in a much better position than I am to put on big cards or run split crew. Those aren't my goals out of the gate and my first real big show would be the one that blows off my top story and that has about 8 months of build. I'm intending to concentrate more on angles and storylines than on writing matches. Mostly because I have a habit of getting waaaay too into match writing, to the detriment of ever finishing anything, but also because long play by play matches tend to get a little boring. It's more about the booking, anyway.

Really kinda happy I got Larsen. Now I get to do a 'tough love' angle with Don Kernodle! Also happy I've yet to draft someone I don't have a plan for. Some I had to come up with after (like grabbing Brian Adias), but everyone fits somewhere. Should have grabbed Rufus R. Jones, though. Dylan told me he was gonna pick him, but I went another direction...

TV I'm going to do mostly recapped stuff, I don't have the time to do full blown written out matches and promos like I used to do for TEW diaries. Detailed, but not overly so. House shows I might just do a recap like 'Bob Orton Jr. DEF Local Jobber' type thing, highlight if anything important happened. Most of what I want to do will play out on TV, which is why I can have Bockwinkel gone a lot.

Figured I'd put this here, since it's kinda the catch-all for NWA stuff. As you guys know, I own the hour slot on the USA Network. As I said before, I plan to use the first half hour for Wrestling at the Chase, and I was thinking of opening up the second half to other NWA affiliates. Which brings me to the question of format. Since, if we go this route, you guys would be using it more than I would, I was looking for some input on it. One way to go would be to have it be a rotating hour of hype, each promotion getting the entire thirty minutes for a week to do with as they will. This might not be the best way to go, as you couldn't really get any momentum with it, but it's an idea. Another idea would be a half hour highlight reel from around the Alliance, maybe with a match of the week at the end. This gives everyone a national platform to get over angles, and helps build things like Starrcade a little better. I think the second idea is better, but I'm open to suggestions. On the other hand, if there isn't really enough interest, then I could just run an hour of TV. OR...Matt D could run it, get matches and angles from everyone, and put it together that way. That'd be really cool, though I'm not sure he has the time, nor inclination, to do it.
