Doc in varsity club was just as good if not better than any other upper mid-card worker in WCW at the time

What other match did you like more than Cole v ACH? I'm guessing is one of them is Rush v Lethal because it's also at 4* but everything else is lower I'm some what excited for that San Antonio show as a whole care because of the scramble with the comparison I feel can easily be drawn to Progress Ch 27 that we also reviewed on this episode

I voted for Benoit and I do at times still watch his matches especially early stuff from Japan for me it's less to do with if I forgive him for the crime and more to do with being able to separate the art from the artist something I would expect more wrestling fans to be use to at this point I mean how many murders are in WWE & WON HOF? If anyone is interested in having a conversation about this on a podcast I would be very open to it on Lucha Undead just pm me to set up the time

Lucha Undead with Steven Graham
Luchaundead replied to Luchaundead's topic in Publications and Podcasts
Scary stuff It's a pretty unabashed lefty love fest at times but we get into some cool topics and even I a self-confessed long time Canada-phile learned stuff I didn't know about Canada -
I earnestly like Taichi and not even just in a punchable way he's been a great dick jr ace in NOAH

Where's Dylan to mention 2 big time Joshis on the list in a row?

What about the fact that some people subscribe to the conspiracy theory that a successful white scorned lover was actually the person to commit to murder? So rather than racism maybe people just don't trust guys that wrestle in singlets? And just to be clear my point is that people maybe more inclined to believe the theory about Colon without more facts because of his race (wouldn't personally not call him black but that just comes from my experiences with afro-latinos) but that people are more inclined to argue in favor of Benoit not because he's white but more because they cared him and people don't wan't to admit that people they care for could do something so evil

http://chucklehutt.libsyn.com/lucha-undead-reborn-22-politics-wsteven-graham We talk to Steven Graham, host of the Pro-Wrestling Super Show about Canadian and American politics with focus on gay, trans, and furry(?) rights. Get to know Steven a little better from the other side not just the guy putting in so much work on the GWE but also as a husband, politico, and outdoors-men!

Much like American Dragon going WWE indy wrestling crowds need retraining and being a man that doesn't seem to find much humorous, Thatcher is just the man to do

I can never fully set in

Point was more that he's been ace for a decade in a high profile company so his popularity really shouldn't be shocking. To be clear I was not trying to claim Dragon Gate has been#2 for a decade my wording was unclear I see that now. I have also heard Dragon Gate draws way better outside of Tokyo than DDT and they have always had a much larger presence in other countries

Matches that would peak your interest ... What's on the table?
Luchaundead replied to TravJ1979's topic in WWE
Any combination of War Machine, Sumerian Death Squad, Strong BJ, Briscoes, and Zack Daddy Lio Rush v Roddy Strong Matt Riddle v Jack Gallagher Will Ospreay v Kota Ibushi Dave Mastiff v Moose -
While I don't disagree right your point I will just say that there was a brief time where you could argue that Nigel was the best worker in TNA

The only extra clarity I could give for this question is my own anecdotal case that I am actually a 3rd generation wrestling fan so with the footage I've seen, his reputation from wrestlers, and from family members who saw him live with opinions that I actually trust and respect I got him to #23. Now #12 that's a story I don't know.

Here too. Who are the CIMA fans around here ? I remember him from early 00's MPro TV shows. Was really good back then. The links are broken for sure Well I'd say Alan, Case, and I are all pretty big CIMA fans and it would appear there are a few more that are less vocal about it. The thing of it is that he's been the Ace of what is the second biggest wrestling company in Japan for nearly a decade so I don't see how anyone would be too shocked that he has fans.

Thank you so much I plan to force Pete to watch some even more off the beaten path stuff other the course of the next year so keep listening if you enjoy that stuff

Seeing Daniels show up makes me really regret not ranking

No but I also didn't rank Seth Rollins very high either I'm wonder what has Sheamus done that makes him your measuring stick? Actually have a long string of good matches while champion. I only used him to compare his World Title run against Rollins WWE Title run. So your comparison is Sheamus having good matches with Dolph Ziggler, ADR, and Daniel Bryan all guys that are pretty much accepted as good to great in-ring workers, even if you don't like Ziggler you have to give him credit as a guy that can do a great job putting over a bigger stronger opponents offense, to Rollins who actually had decent matches with Kane, good matches that were booked as filler with Ambrose, a great match with Sting, and what many are calling an all time great that I would have to at least call an all time great 3-way with Brock and Cena plus the big moments and promos I'd say Seth has a much better title run.
