The first one about Kevin Dunn has been denied by PWInsider earlier in the afternoon. But I think this investigation for breach of fiduciary duties could actually be more damning than the Vince allegations, depending on how many directors and officers get caught.
-
With that said, that means that WWE have next-to-no options to put against Roman. That pretty much leaves only Drew McIntyre and they might have to do it before Clash at the Castle.
-
Well, lo and behold: https://www.bodyslam.net/2022/06/16/kevin-dunn-may-be-guilty-of-insider-trading/

AEW TV 06/15 & 06/17 Wrestling news this week feels like Russo-era Nitro
SirEdger replied to KawadaSmile's topic in AEW
The issue is that STARDOM has a show on the same day of Forbidden Door, which is probably why they have Thunder Rosa defending the title against Toni Storm instead. I did see though that AEW is working to have Thunder Rosa go defend her title at a Tokyo Joshi Pro event in the future. -
Can someone vulgarize this in simple words for non-financial specialists?
-
That'd be quite the booking swerve, bro.
-
The only realistic thing that I *could* see happen for Vince is that the Board of Directors votes to remove him but even there, do they have enough voting power to do that? (I think Vince has like 45% of that on the Board) And who takes over the creative process? Bruce, another main Vince guy? And hypothetically, if this is a power play by Nick Khan that goes awry, this could also be the end of Nick Khan in WWE. At the very least, it's gonna be morbidly fascinating to watch unfold. EDIT: Based on Brandon Thurston's tweet on the matter, Vince has 80% of controlling power in votes, despite only owning a third of the company.
-
Also, that Senton by Cora Jade on Gigi Dolin was NASTY. I think it hurt Gigi on that one.
-
Last week, they taped tonight's and next week's episode. So they're back live on June 28th, that gives them enough time to explain out how Two Dimes is written off.

Just replace the Hardys with FTR, FFS. FTR are the damn #1 contenders last I checked, why aren't they included in this?
-
On NJPW Strong, I believe.
-
I would assume that based on last week, they might do a 10-men tag with FTR/Roppongi Vice/Chuck vs United Empire. Andrade also says he can't work Forbidden Door because of the NJPW/CMLL working relationship
-
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Okada's wife pregnant? Maybe he decided to skip this one and spend time with her?
-
If they would absolutely stick to Excalibur & Taz as the regular duo for Rampage at commentary, it would be the best thing. It just works. No need for Ricky Starks or Chris Jericho at the table for them. Just use those guys in the ring, period. Excalibur & Taz just gel well together.

I think Wardlow's rationale here is that he wants to go straight away for Punk for his first AEW World title and not the interim one.
-
I wouldn't be actually shocked if Malakai Black ended up the inaugural All-Atlantic Champion, based on those brackets. To me, that's gonna be between him and Miro.
-
It's not like New Japan doesn't have about the same amounts of belts than AEW has and they have half their roster.
-
According to SRS' streaming on The List & Ya Boy, it's not been confirmed yet but Bryan Danielson is dealing with "a rough concussion".
-
I always remembered that quote from Paul Heyman when he was talking about when someone was about to leave ECW to jump ship to WWF or WCW or someone got injured, he always had someone ready to fill that spot. I think in a way, as the big ECW fan that he was, Tony Khan has kept that in mind and took this to heart so he applied this to his management philosophy. Yes, the AEW roster is bloated but at the very least, they have many options to fill positions when injuries happen. That's almost a godsend here.
