Everytime Metalik appeared, he was nothing short of excellent. They half-assed the shit out of what could have been a fun trio in Lucha House Party and even worse, they chose TJP over him to be the winner of the CWC.

Yup, nearly everything you said is true. Still, he had his best match there. Not that him vs Dustin didn't bang or anything, it's almost just as good. It's weird how that feels like it was ages ago. Have you seen it, bubba? The match and the build to it were SPECTACULAR. The one single spot in his WWE tenure in which he felt like a big deal.

For all of the problems in his WWE run, Cody still has had his best match there. And he was a babyface there. I think that Malakai was a made man before Grand Slam. He has the coolest fucking entrance in the company, has an edgy look, can kick really hard... and that's despite some puzzling moments during the build. Wednesday was more to solidify the Rhodes family as unlikeable than anything. But then again, when Cody returned last week he got a pretty good pop. Maybe it's a NY thing and they just no sell it.

Bubba @Tetsujin and I share nearly the exact same views about last night's Dynamite. Also, regarding NintendoLogic's criticism, it's part of what made me dislike MJF/Pillmann so much. I mean, I guess a heel having a submission finisher works when it's someone like Lashley making it look like he's gonna rip the head of his opponent, or when they can do vicious shit while applying the move - Sasha stomping on people's fingers to prevent them from reaching the ropes. I dunno but I feel that the Fujiwara Armbar is just too "clean" of a finisher. Britt at least sticks her hand into the opponents jaw, which looks vicious.

Yeah, it's far from ideal. Their presentation is nice but the promo was kinda off at points. On the other hand, Mandy improved lots in the ring and there seems to be some sort of focus in this program. Let's see where they go next week.

We do! I saw some ads for Dynamite, even, but never managed to actually see it airing which is weird. I mean, it is listed but never really airs. Commentary sucks for other wrestling shows. This monday night not even the SAP option worked, imagine my happiness.

So... good Dynamite. The opener and the Sting tag match were both really good, and the rest ranged from just shit to passable. One could be let down if they expected a more balanced card, but at the very least the most hyped match delivered.

I love how Britt does Rollins' offense better than Rollins.

The good outweighted the bad because the good was excellent. Only having the Women's Title match to go makes me wonder if they are going to change the title or just go long.

It's not just "hey he's looking good for his age", but the whole match is centered around him. Just amazing to see. Basically he carried the whole damn match on his back.
