Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4

I really want to get this out of my chest but Germany losing today would be like someone booking Brock Lesnar to take the fall to Cheesburger in dominant fashion. -
He HIMSELF thanked Kane in his retirement speech El-P. It's not "revisionist history". They were the ones to beat the Shield for a reason, after all. Besides, with Kane almost certainly being a mayor, all of this is DB wrestling everyone he can before going to his first BIG post-comeback feud. All of the complaints regarding Bryan are way overblown - people were upset he lost to Rusev, and look who's the #1 Contender (and with some nice odds of being champ)? He was the star of a spectacular gauntlet and now is going to have a fun tag match with Kane. He's just living the best life and people want to see him with the WWE Title bolted to his waist, it seems.

Imagine not watching the product and STILL complaining about it. Besides, tagging with Kane is what got DB over so huge on the first place, yet people seem to overlook that small detail. He is and will be fine in the future. I doubt they'll win at Extreme Rules, and even in the slight chance they do, it's going to be one of those minuscule title reigns just to give Kane a nice send-off. My only dissapointment with SD is that Becky vs Sony wasn't as heated as I thought it would've been, but still a nice match. Becky is still getting those incredible reactions and that warms my heart. Maybe we get Asuka vs Becky down the line.

.......was Almas kidnapped?

A racist dog bit Nakamura in the leg so there will be no Nak vs Jeff today

What a delightful violent brawl. Park is far from being the most svelte dude in lucha at the moment, specially when compared to a stallion like Rush, but does he have a presence. He and Rush went all out with the fuckery here, and it did not dissapoint. Basically it had everything you could as for: mask ripping, interferences, MARTINETES, blood, refs getting their asses kicked, a fat sub ref with his gut appearing... just a spectacle all around. Crowd was absurdly hot, specially after Park SMASHES Rush with a picture frame. From that point on it's just full on violence, with Park using cable wires to whip Rush, as well as smashing his head against the guard rail. All of that leads us to a draw. Post-match, L.A. Park announces he's gonna fight against Rush Mask vs Hair.

It felt like a stereotypical NJPW heavyweight main event but with all the bad parts enhanced

Roman vs Drew is some huge match-up, ain't it?
-
This whole Roman vs Lashley deal works surprisingly well when you keep them away from beating each other's ass for a while. It also helps elevate The Revival. All in all some good story telling. Gotta watch the rest of the episode, but the opening was very well done.

Iran got massively fucked by Portugal today. Referee was siding with the heels much like those old farts from lucha libre do. Morroco went out swinging against Spain much like Jeff did against Undertaker. Anyways: Heyman teasing some awful shit on Twitter. Brock as champ is fucking tiresome. Probably has dirt on Vince or something.

http://wrestlingnews.co/wwe-news/exclusive-incident-with-carmella-was-the-main-reason-why-big-cass-was-released-by-wwe/ Apparently Cass was a piece of trash all across the board

Yo, the fuck is this? I'm soooo gonna repost this later Rowan and Usos are cool dudes

Neymar crying crocodile tears after 5 TIME (5 TIME 5 TIME 5 TIME 5 TIME) World Champions struggled to beat COSTA RICA was cringeworthy. Fucking hell dude, if we play like this against a good team like MEXICO we might as well be fucked.

Now that we are on the subject of wrestlers' attires - Jinder Mahal easily has the best fashion sense out of everyone when it comes to using colors and not being basic.

https://www.wwe.com/article/sami-zayn-injury-interview Basically Zayn has two torn rotator cuffs, which sucks. He's been dealing with that for quite a while, too.

Well, no wonder. Vader was incredibly influential when it comes to videogames - he did inspire Sheep the Royal/Alexander the Grater from Saturday Night Slam Masters and Raiden/Big Bear from Fatal Fury. Pretty sure he also had some characters in Fist of the North Star designed after his iconic appearance, too.

If his ceiling is a poor man's Bossman, then Corbin is gonna be incredible. Gimmick change is slowly turning him into a star.
-
From what his son said on his twitter account, he was diagnosed with pneumonia not long ago. That made things much worse.
-
It was confirmed in his twitter page. May he rest in peace. One of the greatest bigs in wrestling history.

Dude. What the fuck?

They can always go to ROH

Gauntlet match to decide who is going to be the #1 Contender to the WWE Title. My goodness. This match was unbelievable. Daniel Bryan might be, as of June of 2018, the best wrestler on the planet. This completely overshadowed the also incredible RAW gauntlet match this year, and much of that had to do with two things: It felt more cohesive - many have a hard time considering a gauntlet match like a single unit, instead being seen as many smaller matches, but in this case it more than earned the right to be looked at as a whole. It had an overarching story to all the segments and it keep its quality at a constant. Daniel Bryan is the greatest of all time (sort of). He just went all in and made not only Big E look like a bazillion buckes, with lots of crazy exchanges, but also Joe never looked as good in WWE as he did in this match - Bryan takes a beating like no one else (being dropped on his head and nearly dying helps in a more morbid way) and his comebacks feel so fucking natural. The finish to the segment vs Joe and to the Miz segment were so smartly worked that sometimes you gotta give it to WWE and say they can do stuff perfectly. Those two main points, coupled with strong performances from The Miz and a ridiculously over Rusev - and a new feud appearing on the horizon - made for one of the best TV matches of the year, and a strong contender for best of the decade.
-
Yeah, Bryan was totally cooled off, guys. This match. My God. I'm taking it as a single match because it had a more cohesive story that actually played into the match nearly seamlessly, in contrast to RAW's more disjointed, but still amazing gauntlet.
-
Holy FUCK this match is awesome. Might even top the RAW gauntlet at this rate.
-
Joe nearly broke Bryan's neck on a powerslam. Shit was hard to watch.
