Bron just got dethroned (and Melo IS another dude who has an absurd amount of upside) and was featured on RAW at least once, if memory serves. Not a total stranger, but he would need to be properly built.

To be honest, I'll start worrying more if SD becomes a fucking slog. RAW, even prior to Vince returning, was not always a hit. It had many long matches, yes, and didn't go through last minute rewrites as often, but sometimes it did feel like they were padding things. Last night there was no padding, basically NOTHING happened. You could put every meaningful segment together and it wouldn't fill an hour. SD was the better show, it has been so for several years now. If that also becomes a slog, I might watch less frequently. God knows I nearly stopped watching altogether during that period where every single RAW episode ended with Drew, Lashley, Braun and Corbin standing tall.

I mean, he did get two clean PPV wins over Rollins prior to getting his pec torn. That basically never really happens.

The reason I won't say "Cody is cooked" is because he loooooves that shit, and we are now veering into dangerous territory. He was the babyface with in the mud many, many times in AEW, yet never really managed to get great shit out of it, regardless if it was against Ogogo, Malakai, or Andrade. Now he is going up against Brock fucking Lesnar, and managed to get that man booed (which doesn't really happen that much). Will he finally be able to succeed with that god damn storyline he loves so much?
