  1. I love when a wrestler gets stuck with a heel character that gets them nowhere and then they decide to just turn face in the ring. Drew essentially did that, and Io sees the writing on the wall for DMG CTRL. She has all the crowd popping moves!
  2. Tuned in for RAW. Usos had another banger, what's new. Not a fan of them propping up Riddle as thr newest threat to the Bloodline. Unless they feed him to Solo.
  3. With no Roman Reigns (reportedly) at Backlash, will Cody finally unleash his particular universe into WWE?
  4. It's either a dogwhistle (likely) or just mindless fuckery by someone who knows enough about Auschwitz, but doesn't know why it would be in poor taste to use it - "hey, it was just, like, a big prison, right?" Both options have their own flavor of awfulness, to be honest.
  5. I think it's likely some low waged worker decided to get edgy or had that shitposting mentality locked in.
  6. From the looks of things, SD was a much better show.
  7. Didn't WWE have less than stellar ideas for Kenzo Suzuki and Heidenreich? Not willing to give them the benefit of the doubt even if they did end editing it out.
  8. Like bubba Nintendo said, probably Ronda and Shayna. I think it's a bit of a nasty name specially when you imagine someone like Vince saying it. It's hilarious, at the same time.
  9. I think it differs a bit from Starrcade. Sting WON and looked like a goober, whole "fast count" and all. Cody not winning is 100% the wrong call but they did what they were set out to do. Starrcade's infamy goes a bit deeper.
  10. Yeah, filling a 90k seater is insane for them as is. It's gonna be a make or break situation - either they have some sort of success, as I don't know what their projections are, or they flop hard enough for them to take it easy on overseas excursions for a while.
  11. Oh boy. Gunther and Sheamus already had one of WWE's finest damn matches of all time at Clash at the Castle, and now you are adding another big meaty men to slap meat with them? The result is quite possibly the best three way match in the Fed's history by quite the margin. Gunther's entrance is very well-shot, and he just looks like the final boss. He has this aura to him that very few people worldwide have. All three guys are just willing to beat the absolute shit out of each other. It's just pure violence for nearly 20 minutes, nonstop. Some very good nearfalls in this playing to the fact that Gunther doesn't need to be pinned to lose this belt, but all this adds to a violent conclusion.
  12. Wembley is a big ass stadium. They will need a bomb ass build.
  13. it's the most Brazil will ever get to be properly represented

    WALTER

Honestly just the past 10 months are already enough to give him a shout-out in this type of list. He had two consecutive MOTYC against Sheamus and had the best match this year's Wrestlemania. He not only is a great big match worker, but also works great TV matches against people like Riddick Moss, who needes great showings. A top tier worker. Certainly top 5 in the USA the past year.
  15. Nigel McGuinness is ALL ELITE. Let's go
  16. Her IG post on the subject (which was deleted) is some rancid, rancid shit.
  17. Yeah, it doing good numbers show that people were interested in something, whether a proper Brock/Cody tag, or the continuation of the Cody/Roman feud. From the looks of it, we'll get neither. If we get neither, can a Brock/Cody feud carry a show? Doubt it.
  18. Financially? They are on a pretty damn good money making run. WM39's gate alone was 21 million dollars, and past events, like their last MSG show, also saw financial success. They could 100% take a bump there if they are not careful.
  19. The moment he had that HiaC match, I didn't have a single doubt that him beating Roman at WM was the move to make. Would've been dope, but alas. Still, when he came back, some thought he was gonna get booed, as Sami was getting white-hot as an overall act, but Cody got even bigger reactions. Sami as part of the Bloodline started in May 2022, when Cody was still around, so I believe both things got over by design. The "what if" here, to me, is when does Cody meet Roman if he doesn't tear his pec? Would they give him a Summerslam title match? If so, then who is the WM challenger? Not sure if I buy that. I've read that the Night 2 main event result was decided weeks prior - I think it was Fightful that reported so -, and unless we then are led to believe Vince has had input on creative back then, how much of the past shows has he been responsible for? And even so, other than the main event I don't think the booking decisions in N2 were bad at all.
  20. He feuded with Mox when he was in the fed. He then feuded with Mox in AEW as well. That man is a clout vampire, and his feuds benefit him in some way or another. Feuding with literally broken Matt Hardy gives him nothing. With CM Punk? He'd be politicking his way into that in a heartbeat.
  21. On that note, is the Anoa'i family wrestling's best family, in terms of quality?
  22. Man, I miss Jason Jordan. He was saddled with a spoiled brat/oblivious kid gimmick, son to GM Kurt Angle, and made that shit work with charisma and absurd talent. Here, its essentially a showcase match for him to show how he can hang with the big boys. The week prior, he had another great match against Cena, and on this event, went against John's No Mercy 2017 opponent, Roman Reigns. The story for this match is clear and concise - you have a young, hungry, talented wrestler going up against a much more established star. He has the tools, but his experience and novice mistakes end up costing the match. He just looks so damn good here with smooth counters, amazing suplexes, and overall fire. Great little TV match.
