I thought about this for a long time, but it needs to be said. IMPACT is truly the best promotion in wrestling history because they have Killer Kelly.

Tony Hawk only needed to use a walking cane because he broke his leg at over 50 years old. Dude took bump after bump after bump for over 30 years and still got it. Chad Muska, Bob Burnquist, all of them are still rocking, too! Fucking love skateboarding culture. Not uncommon to see people well into their 50s still going strong even with wear and tear.

Pretty sure Darby Allin has taken worse bumps while skateboarding. May be even the reason he manages to avoid injury or any serious damage.

I just think the visual is funny. I know they are already doing wacky sponsored matches, but the visual of a brutal "spooky" Bray match with something like Fruit Loops on the mat is just getting a giggle out of me.

I think he's a fairly overlooked wrestler in regards to how ahead of the curve he was. Doing springboard sentons, splashes and what not? At his frame? In the US? He rocked, bubbas. Gone way too soon, even if his role in 80s and 90s Fed was a great one.

Charlotte absolutely trounced Rhea 3 years ago during their feud. It makes sense that they would settle the score, but Charlotte isn't exactly the most charitable wrestler. Like, the issue wasn't so much that Charlotte went over. Rhea became the NXT champ dethroning Shayna Baszler in what was essentially a reign of terror. People cheered. Her first big feud was against Charlotte and not only BIG CHAR went to NXT to take that belt, she not even got pinned for it, Rhea was! Triple H, at the time, said "oh, it will all make sense in 3 to 4 months I swear". More like three to 4 years!

It also makes sense continuity-wise. First he wooed Mandy Rose, now Maxine is respectfully looking at him.
