  1. Forgot about KENTA but sticking with this. 3 in my top 50 just fell with that last drop but 19 in my top 20 remain. 74 overall.
  2. Sabu, Nakamura, Hero, Baba, Inoki, Takayama.
  3. Disappointing finishes for Atlantis and Otani. I appear to have been wrong about my lucha prediction, but I still expect Santo, Casas, and Satanico to finish relatively high. Impressive jumps for Mark, Nagata, Shingo, and Abdullah though.
  4. Togo is the first one to fall that actually hurts a bit, ha. Like I had Colon higher but I never really expected him to make the top 100. Still, I suppose with the higher voter pool and most only knowing Togo because of House of Torture, I guess it's not too bad. Kudo was my 82, so pleasantly surprised she made it this far. Folks I think are most likely to drop next: Bruno, Rock, Hero, Kingston, KENTA, Nakamura, Sabu, Strong, Takayama, Abdullah, Mistico, Ikeda, Ishikawa, Inoki, Baba, Nagata.
  5. 81 still on mine, only 2 in my top 50 have fallen (1 was my number 20).
  6. Grimmas in the clutch as always.
  7. Some of these drops have been unfortunate but nothing has actually made me "mad" yet. That will change if Togo falls outside of 100.
  8. Surprised Nakamura is still in this considering how much of a flop his WWE run has been.
  9. Colon is the first of my top 20 to fall (number 20 exactly). Tremendous babyface with some of the greatest fire I've ever seen. Lawler made my ballot, but to me, Colon was always a better version of Lawler. Black Terry was one of the last additions to my ballot. A seventy-plus-year-old man having awesome brawls? Gotta make room for a guy like that (RIP). I kinda love Goldberg finishing in the top 150. Yes, he's limited and doesn't have a laundry list of great matches. But as the number 1 voters so accurately explained, no one has ever been able to make another Bill Goldberg. You can't teach presence and in-ring charisma like that. And while there were certainly some misfires to his name (mainly due to bad booking), a Goldberg sprint is a true spectacle. And honestly, that's pretty much what wrestling is about. Unless a bunch of them fall now, joshi is all but guaranteed to do much better than 2016. But it's pretty evident that where joshi and more modern wrestlers rise, the older guard and territory veterans fall, which I think everyone sort of saw coming.
  10. 50 left to the top 100. This is where things really get interesting. We could potentially see a couple active AEW wrestlers make the cut. Maybe WWE veterans like Sheamus or Christian. Does joshi (apart from the usual suspects) hold on? How many 2010's NJPW guys make it? The anticipation is real.
  11. I'm starting to think I'm only going to be the high vote on my number 1, and I certainly won't be the only person who votes for them either.
  12. I'll admit I struggled a bit with recency bias on my list. But basically, if I felt someone had at least 7-8 years of good work (or were very good for the majority of a short career), I considered them fair game. Ultimately, you just have to go with your gut.
  13. I'm at 89%, only 11 have dropped off mine.
  14. The Matt Hardy cage match is probably the best escape rules cage match in WWE history.
  15. Becky and Bayley drop which means Mercedes is the last Horsewoman standing. Curious if she makes the top 100.
  16. When it comes to Daniels, Triple X vs. America's Most Wanted at Turning Point 2004 was one of my first favorite matches.
  17. Jarrett dropping just 1 spot is kinda hilarious. A bit surprised Mima Shimoda finished almost 100 spots higher than Etsuko Mita.
  18. I don't think it happens (top 150 I think), but not ruling out a top 100 finish for either. Or at least Nick.
  19. TAKA was one of my final cuts. Great longevity. I did vote for Rat Boy, shame he didn't finish higher. Great tag worker but a really strong singles guy as well. His GHC match with Kobashi is tremendous comedy.
  20. Kikuchi is my third to fall. I almost forgot about him in the latter months of developing my ballot and I'm so glad I didn't. Dude ruled as a fiery face in peril.
  21. Jimmy Rave improving by 1. Gary Albright slowly inching his way upwards. And no way it happens, but imagine Taue finishing 26th for another decade. I was a fan of Gargano years ago and think he can still be really good, but am also glad he's already dropped. That era of NXT has not held up great. Gives me hope Rollins will not finish top 100 (top 200 very likely though).
  22. I didn't really come around on Taichi until 2020 but there's one spot that he did that I never forgot: during a multi-man tag before he could do his pants removal spot, Yano ripped them off. Because he didn't have the opportunity to do the spot, Taichi covered himself in embarrassment and Yano rolled him up for the pin. Kind of a brilliant bit of comedy.
