  1. Brandi and Dan Lambert suck. Show was mostly good though.
  2. Yeah I think that's the one.
  3. John Moxley-Brian Kendrick tomorrow.
  4. He had a really fun, sub-10 minute match against Yota Tsuji last year.
  5. Konosuke Takeshita, the KO-D Champion in DDT, said he wants to go back to AEW this year. Would love to see him get a few TV matches. https://www.fightful.com/wrestling/konosuke-takeshita-says-he-contacted-aew-his-own-aims-be-aew-tv-2022
  6. I think I would prefer the Bucks stay heels and kick Kenny out in favor of Cole. I liked the Undisputed Era, but I'm not sure I need to see it again in another promotion. Kyle and Bobby would probably be fine as their own team. Granted, neither guy is a great promo and Cole can carry the load in that regard.
  7. Agreed. While I do like surprise debuts, for a couple folks they should probably consider doing vignettes.
  8. I actually liked the main event a good deal. Definitely not the best Lights Out match, but still a fun plunder match. As for Danhausen, definitely seeing a mixed response. Some don't like the gimmick or his in-ring abilities.
  9. I think Griff Garrison has a ton of potential. If anything replace Pillman.
  10. Joey Janela is another one expected to not be re-signed. I never disliked him and he seems like a creative guy, but he was already getting lost in the shuffle even during the Daily's Place era. It does seem like some of them not being re-signed may continue to be used here and there on a per-appearance basis. Probably what they're doing right now with Bear Country, J.D. Drake, and Skye Blue.
  11. Definitely a shame as I really enjoyed his work with Dante and they were a killer tag team (was already fantasy booking him and a reunited Top Flight as trios champions). Will be interesting to hear if there was still tension with TK or if it's simply a matter of wanting to do his own thing. Either way, more power to him.
  12. Lio Rush tweeted that his AEW contract expires February 14th and will be a free agent.
  13. Dynamite beat Raw in the demo.
  14. It's definitely a good match. Fitting conclusion to their rivalry.
  15. Seems pretty spot-on. My biggest criticism against Misawa is that he doesn't have that huge laundry list of great matches with different opponents that Bryan does, but his peaks still outshine Bryan by quite a bit. Bryan is more versatile, but Misawa was still better on his best day.
  16. Hell yeah.
  17. He almost KO'd Fedor. I liken Fujita to Goldberg if he could work longer matches.
  18. Pretty much all that has been said. 2020 was just an odd year due to his back injury, feuding with Yujiro, and insisting on centering his game around the Money Clip (which is indeed a bad submission). From WK 15 onward, he's been back in business. It seems like every time he has an off-performance or does something different there's concerns that he's hurt or in decline. The same thing happened with Tanahashi all the time.
  19. Bryan I think takes 2006-2009.
  20. I think if anything it's a "this guy was already really good in 2002". Also, when it comes to Miz and Bray Wyatt, the Royal Rumble 2014 and Summerslam 2018 matches were great. And while the Fiend strap match wasn't really good, it certainly was better than it had any right to be and that's because Bryan busted his ass.
  21. Probably Bryan. Honestly, 2006-2009 is probably Bryan.
  22. Still need to watch the main, but the first two matches were solid. I agree that as a show it was pretty good, but not exactly what you would expect for a special. Felt like another episode of Rampage. I do like that they set up angles/matches for a lot of the talent that haven't got much screen time.
  23. Stan Hansen or Genichiro Tenryu, primarily because their series was so awesome and featured the classic World Tag League final.

    Akira Taue

It is and yeah, it rocks.

    Adam Page

I agree that 2026 is still way too early for Page, but these next 4-5 years will be a lot of fun to watch.
