I think all the acting and lead up to the finish was awful stuff, but I do actually like the concept of the finish. I just wish it was handled better.

All of this dialogue stuff is atrocious. That strapping into a spear spot looked awesome though.

With commercials it will only be like 50 minutes, right?

They should have four triple threat ironman ladder matches to determine who the participants of the fatal four ironman match will be.

I'll say this about the fatal four way ironman match, that's about as NXT as you can get.

I’ve seen various rumblings of Roman being heel. He seemed like an ultra baby face badass at Summerslam after destroying two heels and looking cool as hell in the process. I hope he’s not the retribution leader.

I won’t keep this dragging on since it’s sort of hard to dig up evidence either way. I just, anecdotally, remember people doing things like this as long as I’ve used the Internet. I remember white kids I knew in school writing purposely nasty things, some racial some not, on walls at school. I’ve seen nasty things written in bathrooms. Those are the same level of anonymity that you can have by providing a new email to WWE and having your moment to “shine”. and to respond to that insinuation about me from the other guy.... damn, bro you sure dunked on me.

Not to mention the stuff on the Thunderdome screens were obviously trolls because it wasn't even the video but instead a still image of a KKK member. There was also a dude who put up an image of Chris Benoit. Somebody else put up images of a beheading. It doesn't matter how much you dislike or like the president, three people, all trolls, don't represent anything.

Maybe I'm a mark, but another thing I'm loving about Pat is that he's not breaking kayfabe on his podcast.

I hope Pat's not done with in-ring work now that's he's got one in. I know that it was a bucket list thing for him because he loves wrestling, but he's got more to offer.

The Fiend is not a face and the world champ is tossing chicks around, so there is no good guy. I have no reason to care about that match.

Oh... I don't expect this to end up good at all. I just don't think Pat would be to blame for any of it.

Pat McAfee is a good heel. The early part of the video and the end of the video are the best parts where he's working, but the middle parts are skippable if you want the wrestling stuff.

I believe that Antifa are real life heels, but I don't really want to see an Antifa inspired faction on my wrestling tv. I don't guess it matters, because I hardly watch anymore. Also, Braun not caring about Alexa screams Bray having some kind of hand in coming up with the story. He probably thinks there is some kind of character development or something, but it just makes your babyface champion look like a dick.

Say what you will about Pat McAfee, but he's bigger than Adam Cole, he has more personality than Adam Cole, and judging by what I saw in the clip from the show, he would be a better heel than Adam Cole.

I was hoping it was going to actually be some type of shoot style stuff... I don't know why I hoped for that. In hindsight, I really should have known better.

I don't care too much for most of the cinematic matches as a concept, but for as interesting the Wyatt Mania "match" was as a short film, the Swamp Fight is just terrible in every aspect.

It didn't take long for somebody to rip off/pay homage to Anthony Smith losing teeth mid-fight and handing them to the referee. Maybe that's why I rolled my eyes at the moment or maybe it was the incredibly fake looking blood or maybe it was because Kurt stepped in right before the soccer kick that would have made it look more convincing happened. I wasn't a fan of the Showtime kick move either. It looked fine, but I don't really want to see a Showtime kick in the very first time they try to do an MMA style environment. The reason it was so cool when it happened with Anthony Pettis is because there had been thousands of fights up to that point and nobody had ever seen it. I would have enjoyed this a lot more without everything on the platforms and the dive off. Maybe the only reason we got this type of match is because they agreed to do some NXT stuff with the cool stuff, but those things didn't mix well with each other. I like that they tried something new, but they added too much necessary stuff.

This doesn't seem like a big deal, nor should it be. He didn't say anything hateful. Feel free to disagree with him, but it doesn't seem like a "holy shit" moment to me. If he starts sharing photos with people putting their knee on his neck like that former wrestler dude did... then yeah, holy shit.
