I'm excited to see Dibiase/Williams teaming here....it's fun to see an alternate universe 1988 where Dibiase isn't the Million Dollar Man and Dr Death isn't spending the bulk of his time in Japan. I think Eddie Gilbert can thrive here in WCW....I would love to see him brush up against the Horsemen at some point. I think it's fun that even in a fantasy world, Luger still usually ends up a "will he or won't he" type babyface. I just don't think he can ever be a full blown convincing fan favorite.

Some big names are making their way to the AWA! The Olympians feel at home here! I love that the Rose Cousins vs. The Rich Cousins gives a little southern flavor to the Winnigpeg card! Jeff Jarrett was heard muttering "lack of competition, huh?" while listening to Larry Zbyzsko on TV. Some big international match ups in Winnipeg with the Russians facing off in the main event and two top Japanese stars in Semi-Main!

IPW has been a fun read each week and I like how you managed to pay things off in the last episode which I know isn't always the case in this game or in real life. I look forward to seeing where things go from here!

CWA sends Eddie Marlin from our staff to IPW in exchange for Koko Ware and we'll drop Bob Armstrong to make room for Koko.

Bash at the Beach certainly delivered! I feel like the Sheepherders vs. The South Pacific Connection was probably an underrated hard hitting match. JYD vs. Col Debeers might not have the potential to be a technical classic, but would be the definition of the word heat, that would bring fans out to buy tickets to support the Dog.

Art Barr/Eddie Guerrero vs. Midnight Express is a dream match in any era.
-
Yeah, much like most of the others I have 0 knowledge of shoot style in this era but you are doing a good job of introducing every one to it and getting us acclimated. Kudos for the hard work that clearly goes into these shows.

I think Kerry for the Warrior is a win for the AWA in '88! I think the possibilities for Kerry are endless here. I enjoyed Title Night and think all the right people won. Interesting development with Boris attacking Nikita. I think this would go a long way towards cementing Koloff as a long term babyface here.

Solid card for SummerSlam! I wish Rick Rude would have gotten a run with Hogan in real life, happy to see it happening here!

Wow, the new WCW is kickstarted into high gear here. All is right on the Superstation with Ric Flair carrying the World title! Woman is a much better fit with the Horsemen than with Luger, I like it. I also feel Spivey has way more potential as a Horseman here than fellow Skyscraper Sid Vicious had in real life in 1990.

Man, just picturing the team of Plowboy and Bruno is fun! I saw some of the old WWO stuff on YouTube recently and saw Shawn Baxter on some of it and he's a prime babyface for a local Southern show like this one. Enjoying his stuff with Humperdink.

Solid card for Title Night! Although, Poffo better have some serious tricks up his sleeve to stand a chance against Nikita. While I've seen quite a bit of babyface Johnny & Davey Rich on YouTube in USA Wrestling in Knoxville and Smoky Mtn, from what I've gone back and read in this game, The Richs have done some really fun heel work, I'm excited to see what you do with them here!

Bill Dundee is a great fit here especially alongside Jamie. I've always been a fan of Bruno, good to see him getting showcased in IPW.

As I'm making plans I realize I need to make a couple of more changes. I would like to drop Gama Singh and Makhan Singh (Mike Shaw) and pick up Buddy Roberts and Bruce Hart.
-
I would be happy to let IPW have Jerry Calhoun if CWA can have Frank Morrell as a referee since he was only refereeing by this point anyway.
-
One other change and I will be all set for a while. I would like to drop Akio Sato and pick up Bobby Jaggers.
-
I'm currently at 30, but Dave Taylor is listed on my roster and shouldn't be. I would like to replace him with Kabuki. I would like to drop Brad Rheingans and pick up Mr Saito. Only other correction I need to remove Gordon Solie as announcer and add David Schultz. Thanks

To Rainmaker's point...I get that to some degree but at the same time it seems like with the premise of these games being "fantasy" booking it would be interesting/fun to explore how things could have played out if fate hadn't had other plans and while I guess some may find that creepy, it certainly wouldn't be any weirder than things like Crash Holly existing in 1988. But, I get for whatever reason that seems to be commonplace in these sorts of games so it's understandable. To Kevin's point....you make a great point as the rosters in the game seem absurdly bloated even for 80's WWF standards, there's no way to effectively book 60 people in the average territory in real life or in a game such as this which also to your point Kevin, with rosters that are overflowing with well known established stars it feels even stranger to have the need to push people with their 90's (and some late 90's) gimmicks in their first couple of years when they were either job guys in real life or cutting their teeth in opening matches in regional territories. But anyway, again not complaining or trying to bring forth any rule changes, just trying to get a feel for things and wrap my head around what the aspects are where we are trying to be as "realistic" as possible and other aspects where it seems we're operating in a different stratusphere. Thanks everyone for the insight.

I know I'm new here but I find it fascinating that there seem to be mysterious variables with this game that seem to make it possible for wrestlers to debut or jump ahead 10-15 years of their natural evolution where they are characters in this world that weren't conceived in some cases until the mid to late 90's but those some variables aren't allowed to effect when people died or retire in the "real world". Not a complaint, just an observation.

Stampede drops Mongolian Stomper, Tarzan Goto, and Keith Hart and picks up Phil Hickerson, Terry Daniels, and Spike Huber
-
Just a heads up, Phil LaFon is still showing on my roster but he should just be on PCW. Thanks.
-
Stampede drops Doug Somers to make room for Chicky Starr who has been graciously sent to us from the AWA
-
Flair and Anderson have arrived and have their sights on Steamboat and the WCW Championship, this is going to be good!
-
Owen Hart vs. Brian Pillman in the finals of the tournament is going to be amazing! Can't wait!
