  1. That's about 35-60 places too low but I'll forgive you.
  2. He'll be right below Morton wherever they end up.
  3. I agree his 90s run wasn't any great HOF run but he was pretty damn good in the 80s. Gordy had great performances in Texas, Japan, and Mid South that definitely warrant praise enough to put him in the top 100. With that said, I'll probably have Michael Hayes above him.

    Dick Togo

I am going through his Osaka Pro stuff now. A couple of matches have already stood out. I really need to send those matches to Phil foor that list. Can't wait to dive into the 2000 Togo footage.
  5. I am with Timbo. Rey is a legend and should be treated as such.
  6. I think he has a shot at my 100 but it would be tough. Loved his Observer WOTY runs. His Attitude era WWE stuff holds up and his 1998 run in WCW still rules. Too many great wrestlers to make him a lock but he could sneak in.

    KENTA

He might sneak into my top 900. How many wrestlers went though Memphis and Mexico through the years? They would all be ranked higher. How many people made it in the Top 100 on the 80s sets? they would all be ranked higher. I may have to go to 900 to see where he would end up. 872 sounds right.

    Volk Han

If it is Tabe's set then contact Tabe at DVDVR and buy it from him directly. Awesome guy.
  9. I had Morton really high in the Smarkschoice poll. He'll be really high again in this one. Not Memphis high, but high.
  10. Phil and I both had him in our best bleeder list. That is probably enough for me to put him in the top half.

    Matt Hardy

He might make my Top 500. Won't make my Top 100.
  12. Yes.
  13. http://segundacaida.blogspot.com/2013/12/lawler-thinks-hes-mystery-to-all.html http://segundacaida.blogspot.com/2011/03/wont-you-tell-king-to-get-off-my-back.html I need to check to see what else is complete or near complete but if you ever doubted his bumping ability, he takes the famous bleacher fall in one of the Fuller matches.

    Vader

Hulk Hogan will be in my Top 100 so having a great match with Hogan isn't a huge undertaking. However, Vader is super high on my list.
  15. He was a heel for most of the 70s. I have about 7 discs worth of his 70s work. I think he was a face for about a year of that.
  16. I enjoyed Kawada more in the 80s than Misawa so that would be the big tie breaker in my view. Plus, I think he has a charisma that draws me to him that very few other wrestlers have been able to do. He will be somwhere hanging out with Tenryu on my ballot.
  17. The Hammer didn't make my Smarkschoice 100. He will easily make my new 100. Him and Ron Garvin will probably be side by side now that I think of it.
  18. A no brainer Hall of Famer and one of the greatest wrestlers of the 80s. I have a big write up of what makes Murdoch great in the Microscope.
  19. Daniel Bryan will rank really high for me. Kept me interested in the Indys when my interest was waning. Kept me interested in the WWE when I had no other reason to be interested. Top 20 would not be out of the possibility. Depends how many Memphis guys and luchadors I squeeze ahead of him.
  20. I have the same thoughts, and I think Will thinks I don't like Lawler too. I know you love Lawler. I just think your star ratings are dogshit.
  21. My main argument is that you haven't watched the 1980s set where the bulk of his best matches are located. He'll be my number one but I have also watched hundreds of hours of his work and feel comfortable in that.

    John Cena

He'll be in my Top 100 and has had tons of great-awesome matches. But he is also a guy who will wrestle down to his opponents as well. How many dogshit Cena matches have we been subjected to? This may not be his fault as he is the most exposed top guy ever. More TV main events and more PPV matches than any ace that came before him.
  23. No. I'll probably end up doing a podcast on him though one day.
  24. Top 10 (15 at the lowest) level guy for me. Regal's PPV matches from 1994 were as good as anyone in America for that year. His series with Finlay is as good as any series I can remember watching. His two Hashimoto matches are outstanding and worked in completely different ways. In almost every Regal match I end up watching, he does something I enjoy. Sometimes the matches didn't get enough time but very rarely do I find fault in Regal's performances.
  25. With a couple of exceptions my Top Ten may just be a bunch of Luchadores and Memphis guys. Santo will be one of them.
