Parv... is anyone considering Valentine or Morton as their #1? If they were, those eras should be considered. We are looking at guys who had incredible comparable peaks in deciding who is #1. If somebody wants to go beyond the peak to decide #1 and #2 then that is a valid way of breaking a tie.
  3. John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler Sheamus vs. Cesaro Goldust & Stardust vs. Usos Rusev vs. Mark Henry Paige vs. Nikki Bella vs. AJ Lee With Reigns vs. Rollins off the show, I guess they are going to throw in a Sandow match or something. Still looks like it could be a good show on paper.

The problem is that we aren't penalizing Flair for getting old. We are rewarding Tenryu, Lawler etc having multiple great post prime performances after they got old. Nothing wrong with that.
  5. Keep it at 2 wrestlers per team. More than that and it is a stable.
  6. I'll create the sub forum tonight. Each Mx would be nominated separately

    Ron Garvin

I have him one slot below Valentine on my final list.
  8. What is wild is that TNA actually hurts some wrestlers such as Samoa Joe.
  9. No reason why we can't do both. We have 2 fucking years. We can create a sub forum for tag team nominees as well. Really simple to do.
  10. What do you mean by that Parv?
  11. No.
  12. Top 5 luchador. That means Top 10-15 overall.
  13. I am with Dylan on this. No chance of making the list. Love the look, love the Lawler match. Too many gaps and bad performances on the resume.
  14. His stock went higher with the High Flyers stuff and singles matches in AWA. Still, unless there are some hidden Killer Bees classics, it will hurt him in the final list.
  15. Top two talker of all time. Top 200 wrestler. I'll split the difference and say he would be my 101.
  16. I'll continue to say it... nobody has exposed me to more good wrestling than Phil Schneider.
  17. Side by side really. I think Liger definitely had higher peaks but Rey was so good on a week to week basis that it just depends what you are looking for on that day. Both had down periods but both were so good for so long that it just depends if you were more in tune with American or Japanese wrestling.
  18. Makes sense. I thought you were saying that the more footage of Kerry as we discovered more Texas footage lowered his status... as if we uncovered a bunch of horrible Kerry.
  19. True, I just ignore all of that rambling praise of Dory Funk you have posted.
  20. Fair enough. I will start doing direct comparisons as the project goes on later with guys you mentioned.
  21. That sounds like the most backhanded compliment ever... "I like the argument you made but it didn't convince me one bit."
  22. Yeah, Grimmas filled us in on that. I think Phil was right when he said that they were missing that big national live match that doesn't allow people to remember this as fondly as other stuff from the era.

    Lex Luger

He won't make my list but he will easily be above Sting.
  24. Right on Parv. Hayes was a solid hand who looked horribly dated as a cool guy. He had a character problem in the early 90s, not a wrestling problem.
  25. I have him over most of them right off first glance. I think my write-up from the microscope sums up what he excelled at. He has the matches in his resume. The qualities he excels at are ones I value the most. If superior selling, brawling, punching, limb work isn't somebody's cup of tea, then Murdoch isn't the guy for you.
