How do you know that was scripted? I took it as part of the comedy. I don't think it was scripted. I think they saw Teddy Long was a black guy and assumed he knew the words. When they filmed it, Teddy didn't have a clue. If it was supposed to be scripted that way, it just reinforces my point.

Yeah, I think if there was a genuine MJ fan on the WWE roster, it would have come off as much more sincere. I mean shit, Teddy Long didn't even know the fucking words to Beat It. That AWS match clip was priceless.

JBL would have never been able to pull off the miracle at Mania or have a killer PPV match with Steamboat or have the emotional tug of war on the microphone that was Piper-Jericho. I think you are equating the two because thier feuds with Rey are fresh in the mind.

GLad that #3 generated enoughinterest to do a #4. Loss sent me a ton of stuff to choose from for #4. However, keep suggestions coming so we can use them in future editions.

I may do a Jericho part 3 later down the road but he would have to be active for another 3-4 years or so. Mysterio part 3 is already in the works and may be the set in between Terry Funk and New Japan.

Yeah, add the fact that JEricho's feuds starting with HBK have been the best thing on WWE TV in years.

Not to hype my set but I loved putting it together with the exception of the Benoit matches because it was finished the August right after the Benoit tragedy. It's hard to think of Jericho as a true veteran because unlike an HBK or even HHH, he still hasn't lost his youthful looks but the guy has just been a master in the ring and mic and I hope and beg he has a good opponent for Night of Champions because I haven't seen him live since 1998.

If that is 5/3/86 then I agree. Probably one of the best free matches on TV ever.
