  1. I'd agree that Bix comes off poorly in some of his rants but Dave Meltzer isn't above criticism. Even God gets criticized at times. Such is the way of life. Accept it. And I'm very aware that Mudd is a troll and not really deserving of a response, but there it is.
  2. Jingus, far from me to get involved in a silly fight, but you do realize stating your IQ score isn't an effective strategy to counter someone's rather idiotic argument? Over on the Real TSM, I come across as a moron at times, and I have a 160 IQ last I checked. That said, Mudd, shut the fuck up. You're way out of your element here.
  3. Jericho was booked against Shamrock in part to teach Jericho how it felt to work with a stiff worker (there were complaints about him when he first came in, working too stiff) and in part because they wanted to temper Jericho's push after his mercurial debut against the Rock.
  4. Considering Kevin Nash gave Triple H some "information" on the new guy before he even arrived in WWF, yes, Triple H already had a negative opinion of Jericho before he realized that Jericho had a chance to unseat him.
  5. I don't think Jericho himself had beef with Triple H to begin with. It's through all these years of heavy politicking by HHH that Jericho had grown weary of him. As for Triple H, he was trying to establish himself as a bonafide main eventer when Jericho came in. He was probably insecure with the fact this skinny punk was getting better reactions right out of the gate than he, who put in all these years of kissing ass, and grew jealous from there. Now though? Triple H knows he has been accepted by the fans, so he probably figures it to be a better move to just act like a professional around people, because like I said, I think the reactions the others had towards HHH's mockery of Jericho combined with Jericho pretty much kicking ass since coming back showed HHH that he had essentially "lost" the war vs Jericho in a sense.
  6. I think Triple H only leaves him alone because he got embarrassed by Jericho's recent breakthrough as a top level heel after all his mockery in the beginning of his comeback.
  7. I think it was implied that the winner of the match got Stephanie, in an unofficial capacity, therefore, no HHH did not believe Angle deserved to win (the match and by extension, the girl).
  8. Fireman's carry into some kind of facebuster.
  9. The guy starring in Wrestlemaniac is Rey Misterio Sr.
  10. Yet wasn't Dave always on the WWF's case in the 80s for emphasizing the big chiseled bodies?

    Jericho's return ...

I know it's just an example but it's much more obvious and likely that it'd be Batista claiming the belt while Cena is gone, and then heeling it up a little when Cena returns (but still probably be considered a babyface). Batista won the Summerslam match, and was credited with the injury to Cena. No way is Cena going to Mania as champion vs challenger Batista. Batista has been booked as the aggressor all along. That's a trait of a heel champion that isn't booked as chickenshit.
  12. Ironically I think it's Rhodes who looks like the star of that tag team.
  13. Considering you're well known for having this odd contempt for other IWC posters, no I don't think it was a harmless joke. As for my points, I was saying that anyone who has what it takes, can be a pro wrestler. It has nothing to do with their original professions or class. If you can work the wrestling thing, then you will be a wrestler. Even an IWC poster. Look at CanadianChick over at TSM (well she was before). She's an IWC poster, and also a professional wrestler. So once again, bringing back the point to your contempt for other posters, despite not being any better in any way, is going to make you sound like an idiot, "harmless joke" or not. And yes, it's equally as stupid to want to be a boxer or a MMA fighter. Hockey isn't as stupid if you play it the right way. But if your interest lay in the rink fights, then yes, stupid as well. (post-edit: If you don't know who I am, good. I don't tend to throw out stupid stories like the weight bench one, just to get attention. Like someone we know...)
  14. In whatever way that allows an IWC poster to think they can make it. Well why not? If a person is stupid enough to want a life of the professional wrestler, he should be allowed a shot. It's not the NFL or MLB or NBA where you have to be credible to become a "true" (read: accepted in some form) professional. Wrestling is made up of bodybuilders, amateur wrestlers and other kinds of athletes, schoolteachers, plumbers, and so forth. Is an "IWC poster" that much lower on the totem pole? Nevermind, I forget, ejaculating on a weight bench makes you THE MAN, and the superior option, right?
  15. Bob Holly and Bart Gunn (That's a joke of course)
  16. No. The Batista story you told is absolutely not true. WCW trainers singled out Batista because he was one of the biggest guys in that class, to make an example out of him to everyone, that even the biggest guys are at wrestlers' mercy. It was not because they saw no potential. Or because he was told not to return. He went, saw how shitty the whole get up was, and left. The fact you outright made up the story, tells me that I shouldn't waste any more time on you due to credibility issues. Thanks.
  17. It's not that tough beating on kids that knows they can't fight back without risking their jobs. I'd definitely walk up to Holly and punch him in the face, reputation be damned.
  18. Don't you think that if this technique worked so well, that Lesnar and Vaine wouldn't have gotten as far as they did in WWE? And from what I read in interviews and such, most of the time, the problem people have is with the travelling schedule. Tell me how does Holly beating the shit out of you prepare you for the travel?
  19. I don't understand the practice of "weeding out" people. All it is doing is scaring off guys who could eventually turn into wrestlers worth having. Wrestling has a bad name already, it doesn't need some bitter redneck hammering on people to get them running away and thinking wrestling is awful.
  20. It's possible that the fans just wanted to be anti-establishment. They're the same fans that booed Cena every time he tried to talk at the ceremony.
  21. I have seen the Lesnar stuff from when he debuted and onward, and the only thing that struck me as remarkable was his presence and the booking that had him knocking people out. When I think of most "natural" I think of wrestlers that just "got" it in terms of knowledge of how things worked in the ring. Someone like DK or Owen Hart would qualify, but Lesnar? Not so much. You proved the point when you said he had to learn from Rock and others.
  22. You kidding? Brock Lesnar looked uncomfortable in the early going of his WWE career. It wasn't until after his heel turn after his face run that he came into his own as a performer, once he really understood his role.
  23. Jericho was definitely hurt by the Chyna feud. It has nothing to do with credibility though. It had more to do with the fact it was seen as a step down from where Jericho was teased (The Rock). The feud itself probably set Jericho back a few months and took a summer series with Benoit and HHH to restore that perception.
  24. I don't recall Julie having cancer. Bret may have been very unfaithful but Batista cheated on his SICK wife.
  25. Vince's really gay?
