  1. MNM is more valuable than London/Kendrick, even as heels. What's wrong with basing a division around a heel team? I don't want to go back to the exact same formula of 1999-2001, so this would be the avenue I pursue should I be the guy running the company.
  2. MNM looks more of the consummate team. I'm sorry but I would put them over London/Spanky any day.
  3. I was in middle of typing a response to Savagerulz, but I have finally come to the conclusion that Savagerulz is a complete idiot. Thus I have decided not to waste time on him, because he doesn't get it and judging by his stupid remarks towards sek, he never will.
  4. Or... use MNM themselves. They aren't bad looking themselves.
  5. Heh. You got me there. However in all seriousness, Jeff has charisma. I hate it when people misunderstand the concept of charisma in wrestling. They think charisma means Rock style overness with mic skills. It doesn't have to be. Benoit is HIGHLY charismatic, but you'd never know it with some people's definition.
  6. Not true. Orton is over with that crowd as well, and he isn't moving much merch.
  7. People buy his shit because he appeals to them. That requires charisma.
  8. God... alright, you just shut the fuck up, alright?
  9. Has no charisma? You're joking, right?
  10. Considering SNME's first main event would likely be Edge vs Cena for the belt and something involving Angle and Taker, I forget the exact match. I'd venture to guess that they do intend to give a good first impression. They won't keep up maintenance of it though. What I would do with it, and I do it on EWR, is that I have Raw and SD as the brand shows but SNME as the best of both worlds. Raw and SD's main events would be like Shelton vs Rob Van Dam for the IC title or Booker T vs Chris Benoit, and SNME's would be HHH vs Big Show or Taker vs Orton. The top champions would make appearances on Raw/SD in a nonwrestling capacity and maybe a tag team match or a "special" title match during one brand's non-PPV month like John Cena vs Edge during May or whatever on SNME. Any thoughts on that?
  11. I think merely programming Goldberg against the Rock in his first program in WWE was exposing his weakness intentionally.
  12. Elaborate, please? Did Hogan find himself in a shoot match or was Fujinami just shooting on him for no reason and Hogan countered it?
  13. I would insist on using the Fingerpoke of Doom as my finisher, I'd call it "Promotion Killer"
  14. Apparently according to PWElite, Stephanie McMahon wants to package CM Punk as "The King of the Indies" kind of gimmick.
  15. I've hated Hogan before it was the cool thing to do. I hated him in the 1980s. I hated him in the 1990s. I hate him in the 2000s. And to say what Kevin Sullivan did to WCW makes Hogan's shit look like nothing is absurd. Nash and Russo are debatable however. Russo provided crappy TV and nonsensical ideas. I however argue that they wouldn't have needed Russo to come to try save the company if Hogan didn't leave it in disrepair. Nash is a scumbag, but he didn't have as much influence on the company as Hogan did when WCW had the best shot of sustaining momentum. I pinpoint Starrcade vs Sting as when things started to fall apart, because things were when they were on the top, so Eric didn't really pay attention, thinking he was on the top of the world. Hogan had more influence then than Nash. Also, Nash's worst booking decision was to beat Goldberg for the belt. Well guess what? If it wasn't Nash, it was going to be Hogan doing that, as they actually agreed on this when Hogan dropped the belt to Goldberg.
  16. What good is making a company a lot of money if you help kill it in the end?
  17. Hogan had a lot to do with it, but ultimately, no. He's not 100% responsible. It's easy to blame others like Bischoff for having the final say. However he was in love with Hogan that he thought WCW would never die if he had Hogan. He believed Hogan WAS pro wrestling. The book lists some things what Hogan does: 1. He had WCW sign people to guaranteed deals, when they ultimately contributed nothing to the bottom line. Ultimate Warrior, Roddy Piper, etc. 2. He came up with the idea to put the belt on Goldberg at a TV match, so it would appear like he drew the house when he didn't really. This cost WCW a potential gold mine of a match. 3. He conspired with Nick Patrick to make Sting look bad in their famous Starrcade encounter. 4. Fingerpoke of Doom. 5. Booking himself all over TV to appear indispensable so he could blackmail WCW in raising his salary. 6. New Blood vs Millionaire Club anyone? It goes on. If you had to finger ONE guy that had the MOST to do with it, Hogan's the safest bet, with Bischoff and Nash bringing up the rear.
  18. I did read the book and wow, what Hogan does for WCW... just terrible.
  19. They cancelled Thunder way before WCW died. It was when they ended Nitro that WCW officially died. And what led to them cancelling Nitro? The fact that they didn't have Turner to tell the board "Never bring that idea up again" in terms to cancelling Nitro. Why? Turner lost power. Why did they decide to cancel? WCW was a money loser. They didn't have the ratings to justify keeping it. All this... built upon because of Hogan. Directly and indirectly.
  20. I had a conversation with Al about the death of WCW. I actually attributed it to Hulk Hogan. He's involved in everything that went wrong with WCW, directly and indirectly. Do you agree, Loss?
  21. Wow I agree with a Cubs fan! The apocalypse is coming! Bruiser is correct though, that not everyone who knows what's going on would be negative about things unless the negativity is BECAUSE of what's going on backstage. Triple H gets a year long reign. A rube hates it because it means a guy they hate has the belt for a long time but the informed fan would hate it because HHH probably lobbied out of dropping the belt at least twice during the course of the title reign. Does it change the fact that the reign was bad? No.
  22. Here's something to keep Loss up at nights- Juvi was released from WWE.
  23. Well one man's trash is a world's treasure...
  24. It was only one time, apparently.
  25. I don't understand the outcry on that. It's not the first time a wrestling promotion did this shit. Remember WCW and Miss Liz/Goldberg?
