the When Worlds COllide match? No it isn't.
  2. Tamura had a match against The Bloody from 9/20/04 that is a ridiculously spectacular match that everyone should watch.
  3. Devil's vertical suplex into a gorilla press is one of my favorite signature spots ever. In the 8/30/91 match against Itsuki Yamazaki (A fantastic match everyone should watch), one of the opening spots has Masami on the apron and Yamazaki in the ring, Devil does the vertical suplex into the gorilla press position and then just drops Yamazaki straight down onto the ropes for a snake eyes. Utterly spectacular.

    Jaguar Yokota

Cool thanks for the info! Have you watched anything from her last 18 years out of curiosity? Can't find much online compared to her 80s & 90s comeback.

    Jaguar Yokota

Looking at Cagematch, Jaguar's career is completely insane. Debuts in 1977 at age 15 and works until February 1986 when she retires at 24 just 5 months shy of her 25th birthday (goddamn AJW retirement rules). Then she stays retired until 1994 when she has a comeback match at age 33. At age 34 she starts her own promotion and works regularly until age 37. Then at the end of 1998 she retires again and is out another 4 years. She comes back in 2003 at age 41 and has worked consistently until present day. The 77-86 run is legendary of course. Everything I've seen from the mid 90s comeback (8 YEARS LATER) she still looks awesome. I haven't seen anything from 2003-present. If anyone has recommendations I'd love to watch them!
  8. The hair match against Lola Gonzalez is an incredible match

    Dick Togo

You ready? You got 6 months to make your case In all seriousness, I didn't vote for Togo in 2016 and thats one of my fucking blew it picks. I said at the time that I hadn't watched enough of his 2000s singles work to get a clear picture and I really still feel that way. I've seen a bit more between now and then though and Togo is consistently awesome in every setting. From the outside looking in, I feel like there's a chance he's a top 25 candidate and possibly in that Daniel Bryan, Satomura, Akiyama best of the last 20 years conversation. I wanna get a clearer picture. Togo got his start in 1991 and his retirement was only 13-15. Togo really needs a return of Goodhelmet mega comp
  10. Is anyone better against a limited opponent?

I fucking LOVE the Cage Match against Perro.
  12. I call him Abby. He may look like a cabby, With his arms so flabby, His boobs very saggy, Long pants extra baggy, And probably a little gassy, He was nobodies lackey. I call him Abby. I used to think he was crappy. But now know he was scrappy His forehead is so scabby His offense is so stabby, Or he could get real scratchy And that shit makes me happy. I call him Abby. As a person I'm glad he Is actually quite classy. His style I'd call snappy. He never looks shabby What more could this man be? I call him Abby. And when it comes to fattys, This one is so savvy, And he shall always be A top 50 GWE. I call him Abby
  13. So you're saying he should've been Muta full time? I agree
  14. I was surprised to see Muto ranked 66th in 2016. I feel like theres no chance he gets that high again. Anyone gonna go to bat for Muto? I feel like I probably like him more than most folks around here but I think his chances of cracking my list are slim.
  15. I think there's a parallel universe out there where AJPW saw his potential and cultivated it and he put together more of a top 100 career getting to work with the big AJPW names. Rob, let us know about the best European stuff you watch!

    Terry Funk

At this point, I think Terry has more great matches on tape than anybody.
  17. *clears throat* THERES A SHINYA HASHIMOTO EXPLODING BARBED WIRE MATCH AND I ONLY LEARNED ABOUT IT TODAY????

    Vader

You can only watch 3 Vader matches for the rest of your life. Which ones are you picking?

    Stan Lane

All joking aside, I actually consider Stan Lane to be a realistic candidate for a top 100. The Midnight Express Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane with Jim Cornette are a top 3 team of all time. The Fabulous Ones are a top 5 team of all time. The Heavenly Bodies are awesome and probably would've been a top 10 team of all time if Stan Lane stuck around longer. When he pops up in a random tag like Stan Lane & Eddie Gilbert vs Terry Funk & Cactus Jack on the indies its a fucking amazing match. When you add the redneck karate to his monster tag team resume', leaving him off in favor of any number of people feels like a mistake.

    Rikidozan

Where do people stand on Rikidozan? Its been a while since I've watched or thought about him.
  21. @Dav'oh has said they are considering Rogers for the top spot. Is anyone else considering him for the top 10? Rogers is near the top of the list of people I want to watch a ton of over the next 5 years. Everything I've seen has been incredible. Put over Buddy Rogers! Best Nature Boy, right?
  22. I legit LOL'd when I saw Buff's name scrolling through the list. Worst nominee?

    Ric Flair

THere are some amazing looking matches from that year I'd fucking love to have. 24 minutes against Roddy Piper in Greensboro, NC 2/3 Falls 30+ min against Ken Patera. 60minutes against Barry Windham in 1982 in Florida 38 minutes against Paul Orndorff 33 minutes against Buddy Rose 38 minutes against Sweet Brown Sugar 46 minutes against Butch Reed No DQ, 2 Referees (for a No DQ match lololol!) So many 40+ minute matches and 60minute draws against Butch Reed 30 minutes against Ted Dibiase at a Terry Funk promoted show in Amarillo 60 min against Ron Fuller So many matches against Wahoo McDaniel He closes the year going 47 minutes against Tommy Rich.

Check out his 1982 World Title Defenses alone https://www.cagematch.net/?id=5&nr=179&page=4&year=1982 You've got matches against Dusty, John Studd (27 minutes against John STudd in Greensboro, my goodness), Ole Anderson, Rufus R Jones, Harley Race, Bob Brown, Mr Wrestling II, Sgt Slaughter, Tommy Rich, Mike Graham (60min draw), Dory Funk Jr (30 min), Dick the Bruiser (24min in 1982), DIck Slater, Butch Reed, Kerry Von ERich, Jay Youngblood, Blackjack Mulligan, Leroy Brown, Ricky Steamboat, Ron Fuller, Jimmy Golden, The Spoiler, Paul Jones, Wahoo McDaniel, Bob Armstrong, Brett Sawyer, Rocky Johnson, BUddy Rose, Al Madril, Dewey Robertson, Michael Hayes, Gene Kiniski (in 1982), Angelo Mosca, Terry Gordy, Jack Brisco, Jumbo Tsuruta, Terry Allen, Ted Dibiase, Jake Roberts, Bob Backlund, Paul Orndorff, Brian Blair, Sweeet Brown Sugar, Barry Windham (in 1982), BUzz Tyler, Mike George, Jerry Lawler, Jimmy Valiant, Pierre Martel, Invader I, Carlos COlon, Tommy Gilbert, Ron Bass, Terry Gibbes, Stan Hansen, Manny Fernandez, David Von ERich, Roddy Piper, Ken Patera, Austin Idol. That's 1982 alone. And its not like all of these matches were one off. There are multiple matches against Big John Studd, Ole Anderson, etc. Not all of those guys are "broomsticks." The majority are good, but they're all different and to be able to walk in the door and have a good & competitve title match against any one off that list on any particular night regardless of who it happens to be that night is pretty impressive. There are some notorious broomstick guys who would have helped make that reputation that aren't on this list either because he worked with them later. I'm thinking of Nikita, Road Warrior Hawk, Lex Luger, Sting those musclehead types who didn't have a ton of experience working in long singles matches. (Who is Leroy Brown and why did he get 4 NWA title shots in 1982)?
