This isn't DB vs. the WWE because almost the whole roster is with him in his battle but can't help him.

  10. World Class was full of babyface control
  11. Speaking of Dave he noted how Ric said that he competed in 47 straight War Games matches which is quite the tall tale.
  12. Sure you can form an opinion from reading results and the like but to go on and on about it arguing about something with people that actually watched it is ridiculous unless you watch it yourself.
  13. I've always dug both guys who have fanbases that are highly extreme on opposite sides but I've got an analogy here to why the feelings are what they are. If you remember Tanahashi made his rise during the era where Inoki & MMA were trying to dominate New Japan so Tanahashi became some sort of Puroresu savior to the NJPW fanboys eyes since he wasn't Shinsuke Nakamura or Katsuyori Shibata. Meanwhile John Cena made his rise during the post-Attitude era where he became some sort of antichrist to the Attitude era fanboys since he wasn't Austin or The Rock.

  21. I know this isn't about watching Harley matches but I got to put this here. This is from the AWESOME Don Slatton obit from this week's WON.
  22. Holy shit the Don Slatton obit in this week's WON is fucking awesome
  23. WWE never could claim Atlanta until after January 4th, 1999. Sure they ran shows there but it wasn't until the Fingerpoke of Doom which killed WCW's hometown that WWE could come in and officially take the city.
  24. I will say this though.....pro wrestling definitely helped later on as Putski, SBG, & Blackwell made it after Ken did. Plus they used Patera's wrestling injuries to help him when he was weak so they did mention it quite a bit. If Bruce Wilhelm wasn't so short he would've been a fantastic pro wrestling personality.
